Personality: Santos is a very gentle lion, most of the time. He's extremely protective of his family and makes a very natural leader with his only desire being to help others obtain a better lifestyle and have a home where they can be safe and cared for. He's a very approachable lion when you get past his size and his royal composure.
History: Santos's past is tragic and shaken to most. Long ago a den mother was raped by her angry Chief, brutally abused and left to fend for herself on the outskirts of the tribe. Luckily a rogue had seen it happen and fed her til she was strong enough to limp back to the den. Together they had found that she was pregnant, and when the Chief found out that not only had the den mother been associating with a rogue, but was pregnant, he beat her continually, ever day.
The mother's pride was not broken, and every time the Chief came near she curled protectively with love for her unborn kittens. She protected their souls and cooed to them. Loving them no matter their heritage. Soon she had given birth to 4 healthy cubs, 2 carrying her snow white coat, the other two carrying the Chief's pitch black pelt.
She loved them unconditionally, and though the king tried to harm them she put herself infront of them, refusing to move even as he beat her unconscious. One night the Chief came in after she was asleep. Three cubs curled at her side but he hadn't bothered to count. He beat them all, to the point that one died. The fourth cub, a little white male with ice blue eyes, watched in horror as the Chief did this, and let out a scream as the male slit his mother's throat. Shaken, he stood there as the murderer turned to glare at him. Before the Chief could get to him he dashed for the exit and towards the boarders, never looking back.
The rain rolled in that night and the cub curled below a tree, shaking, cold, and wet. He screwed his eyes shut and whimpered. "Mommaaaa~!" He cried, his little white form nothing more than a matted ball of wet fur. It was another few moments before the cub mad a noise again, but this was a noise of shock. A body had curled around his, warm and smelling unfamiliar, but motherly. She hushed him and licked him til his shivering ceased, keeping the young cub safe from the weather.
"T'thank you." The cub stuttered, uncertain.
"What is your name, young one?"
"Santos..." He answered the soft voice, enchanted by it's honey warm tones.
"Little Santos. I will protect you."
And so she did. The warm voiced, honey coated female raised Santos to his Adult-hood until he was ready to leave on his own. They parted with tears and nuzzles, promising to see eachother again. That was where young Santos had started his life a new, ready for a grand life.

Personality: Alti is a little rough around the edges. He doesn't really know his place in the world and is bitter about being the only one without a family. He tends to argue with his sister a lot, jealous of her mate and daughters. He tries to be nice to females he meets, and usually succeeds pretty decently, but no matter what he tries it doesn't seem to work. All he wants is to be loved unconditionally.
History: Alti was abandoned by his parents, which may contribute to how bitter he tends to be. When he found Acantha he figured she had been abandoned to, and stuck be her side to protect her. When she grew and got a mate he felt betrayed, and still does. He envies everything about her life now, and yet he still loves her and wants to protect her. He's searching for the one female who's going to love him and complete his life but all his attempts are failing. He just wants to know what his purpose is.

Personality: In simplest terms, Hazard is evil. Since he was a cub he's wanted to take over all of the isle, if not the world. He's got an ego and dislikes most lions, even his own mate at times. I'd beware getting near him, too, as he spits acid.
History: Hazard doesn't have much of a history. He grew up dreaming of taking over the isle and now that he has a mate he's finally found a good way. Minions! He wants to create a small army of his spawn to help him conquer the isle, not that it'll likely happen.
