 Abeni trotted over the hot earth, watching with half lidded eyes as steamy blurred air rose from the horizon. Even though it was hot here, she didn't seem to mind. In fact, she seemed quite comfortable. Perhaps it was her stubborn temper, or perhaps the Fire goddess' blood flowing threw here... Whatever the reason, she never minded heat.
She was in a new land, and she knew it. The rouge had never ventured this far west. Not because of fear, but merely because she had no reason too... But now she was hungry, and needed to hunt. Perhaps these lands would be more forgiving for a lioness that always hunted alone...
Her glossy solid black fur glistened slightly as she crawled over a mound of jagged rocks, her maw wrinkling in distaste as they gabbed into her paws. Perhaps this wasn't the best place to wander into...

Hakuna was overjoyed to be back on duty. She HATED being useless. But now she was back, new scars worn proudly as a testament of her victory over her sister. Yes...She had come back stronger, her demon louder. She was now on her favorite part of the rounds, the part nearest the volcano.
This was heat she didn't mind. The sun's heat was oppressive. But the heat of the volcano...it was heat filled with power and strength. And...Hakuna stopped as an unfamiliar scent reached her nose. Well, well....She grinned and chuckled, a devious look on her face. A rogue.
She went forward, her large crimson bulk easy to see. Time to see if this rogue was stupid, stubborn, a coward, or one of them...

The black lioness' eyes went still for a moment, focusing on a bare spot of soil. But that was not what she saw... She saw a red form on a white background, fire emerging from the earth, burning... Enveloping her in flame, but she didn't burn...
She blinked, the vision passing as quickly as it had come. And when she looked up, she saw a mirror image, but... it wasn't the demon she had seen a moment before. It was a seemingly normal red lioness... Her gold eyes glistened with interest. What was the meaning of that vision? Perhaps there was something about this girl... She certainly looked ferocious. Knowing that her visions always meant something, she decided not to turn away, or attack, like she usually did...
Abeni waited for the other female to speak or move... staying perfectly balanced on the hot rocks.

Hakuna chuckled. Well...either the other lioness, black as lava rock with eyes like her own, was stupid and stubborn....or she felt the calling that came when a demon came close to the volcano. She shook herself a bit and trotted forward, stopping a few feet away.
"You are trespassing on Aikanaro'hini land. However...I'm in a rather good mood. So I will give you a chance to explain yourself, rogue. Maybe even a chance to run." Of course...Hakuna was fully planning on chasing. She lived to leave lessons carved into the hides of non-demons. The crimson lioness seemed relaxed...but a closer look would reveal the tenseness of her muscles and the weight she placed on her back paws, leaving her front easily maneuvered.

Abeni wasn't one to be afraid... She recognized when she was weaker, and would not fight if she thought she could get killed... Her drive to live outweighed her pride. But for now she didn't think the other lioness was a threat to her life, so she stood her ground without flinching or recoiling. And still... She couldn't help but know that there was something different about this girl. Finding out what was worth a few scratches.
"Am I?" Her voice was thick and deep, alluring in a dangerous way. "I did not know." She was kind of lieing. She'd smelled other lions, but she didn't know who lived here. "I would speak, and perhaps I would run... But that would not give me what I wanted. I must see."

Hakuna found herself intrigued. This rogue had a sense of power about her...something raw and consuming, like the fire deep beneath their paws. "Hmmm...see what rogue? The demons that walk these lands? The great volcano?" She smiled, a dark and passionate expression that, like the rogue's voice, conveyed how dangerous she could be.
"Or something else? What is it you must see in these dark lands, rogue?"

The young lioness was silent for a long moment, her gold eyes staring into Hakuna's. Demons. Could her vision have been so blunt? Demons, and a volcano... She seemed to be lost in thought, then shook her head, ears twitching to the sides as they moved.
"I... am unsure. Perhaps it is just you that I must see. Perhaps it is another... But these demons, you said..." She sat gracefully, showing that she did not plan on leaving unless forced too. And perhaps not even then. "Tell me more about them, if you would be so.. kind..." She smirked softly, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. The idea of the demonic lioness in front of her was amusing, and she probably didn't expect her to be kind at all.

Well...perhaps this one was another demon after all. Good. The pride needed more full grown demons. And perhaps this one wouldn't be charmed by the Aran'shale into having cubs. There were too many cubs as it was.
"Demons...we are beings of power and strength and truth. While the rest of the world has forgotten that which lies in the dark, we remember. And we prowl the night, teaching the non-demons why their ancestors could not afford to be soft." Hakuna sat, her smile turning to a smirk. "Some would deny the demon whispering, resting beside their own soul, and they are fools as bad as the non-demons. But those who accept their demon-selves...They are welcome in these lands, provided they meet the approval of our kings, the Aran'shale."

She listened with silent wonder, her eyes barely blinking as she watched the red lioness. "I... see...." She was quiet for several moments longer, finally looking away from Hakuna to behind her, deeper into her territory.
"I have dreamed of fire all of my life..." She had not seen her Goddess mother since she was a child, but she remembered her. It was an odd life, living with a Goddess... But she favored being alone. Except now. Now she felt oddly drawn to this new female. Or rather she felt drawn to the fire inside her. Fire she wanted for herself...
"And everyone has a demon-self. They need only to accept it?" Her head titled slightly, ears fanning forward.

Hakuna kept her joy contained, an effort for her. But she had gotten rather good at it lately. This one was another demon! Oh Verge would be happy with her!
"Not all have a demon-self. Demons have only started returning to this realm recently. But it won't be long before they have settled within all..." She gave the other a smile that seemed almost motherly. "But those of us lucky enough to have one now are the ones who shall usher in a new era..." She looked to the lands behind her.
"If you have dreamed of the fire...It is likely you are one of the first lucky ones to have a demon-self."

Abeni nods slightly, her head lowering as she thought to herself. Then she looked up, looking hopeful. "Perhaps I do... And you... Do you have visions? Sometimes... I see the future, or the past... But it's always enveloped in fire..." She paused, watching her reaction.
She had always secretly hoped to find someone with her abilities... After leaving her siblings behind she had never met anyone that could see what she could. And perhaps finding someone that could would give her a bit of... companionship. At least for the rare times she actually wanted to be with someone. ...But those times were very rare after all, so most of the time she was perfectly content with her life.
"May I also meet your kings..?"

Visions. The only visions Hakuna had once had were the dreams and whispers of her mother when she was younger. "You are gifted. I am afraid that the only visions I have ever had were from my mother...guiding me and teaching me of what I was." She chuckled. "And I have not had those in a long time...not since I became old enough to breed."
She had wished her mother had stayed within her though. She still felt a little empty without her mother's voice and appearance. But Hakuna knew that her mother felt confident of her now.
The crimson lioness nodded. "Of course. Let us see which king we can find first...Though in the pride, the term is Aran'shale. Just as I am a Tirma'eth...a guard."
But demons did not need the gift of seeing to know when another's demon had awoken. And Hakuna knew this gifted one was a demon, like everyone else in the pride, save her toy.

She tried to mask her disappointment, but her ears twitched downwards just slightly. "I see... Well... thank you, for thinking I am gifted. I suppose my visions are... useful, at times. They led me here over my lifetime, after all... I have always followed them, and they have always led me well."
A bit of enthusiasm crossed her face, disappointment quickly forgotten. "I understand... Aran'shale, and... Tirma'eth." She said it a couple times until she said it completely accurately. She would not forget them easily. "Are their other titles?" If Hakuna moved, she would follow her deeper into her territory, not even glancing back.

Hakuna began trotting deeper into the pridal lands, making sure the other was following. As she moved, she began explaining things. "My name is Hakuna'jina. Now...names are powerful things among demons. Many have two names...their True Name, and the name they wear for the outside world. The Aran'shale however have the strength to have only one name to wear." She smirked. "Me...I have no True Name. My demon does not 'think' in such things as words." Even her mother could find no name for her...thus the name she wore for the world...'No Name'. "We are still small, and many demons have yet to find their way here. There are many cubs though...the male cubs are called Zera'ni, and the females are Zera'ne. And there are two slaves within the pride...the females are Na'artue and males are Na'artu. And then we have one lioness that is a Qatethe...She does the things that must be done in shadows."
It was strange, explaining all this to an adult. She was used to explaining it to cubs, since she had taught her own...but an adult was another matter. Hakuna kept her nose to the breezes that would float through the lands, searching for the scent of either king...she wanted Verge to be the first one she found, but Iar would do as well.

She followed closed beside her and a step behind, walking so that she could easily speak with her but also letting her lead. Her head was held low, eyes narrowed in concentration as she took all the information in. Like before, she repeated the odd words once or twice, filing them away into her memory.
"The things done in shadow...?" She inquired, head tilting to the side slightly. But then she paused and shook her head. "Nevermind, I can guess...."
(Did you want to wrap up this RP before she takes her to the king(s), or just have them join the RP? :0 )
