Jingling his bracelets lightly, Anuk pads through the soft grass and enjoys the breeze wafting in from the ocean. The dark furred palui gives a little feline like grin and bounds into some taller grass to disturb the butterflies to take flight away from him. A flick of his tail and he bounds into another patch of the taller grass again, and again, just enjoying himself and the little bit of music that his bracelets lend to the game.

In an opposite pile of tall, fading grass, rested another hidden Palu. She was curled in a tight ball, looking like a dust bunny with fallen snow. A perfect blend to hide under the shade of trees, true. But in the yellowy and sparce grass it looked out of sight, like a misplaced boulder. Tiny tummy huffed in beat to her sleeping breathing, and soft snores could be heard if all else went quiet. The sun was up and her fur was warm. She was cooooozy~

Giving another grin, he bounds into another patch of the tall grass to watch the butterflies escaping. Flicking his tail again to prepare for another jump, he stops. Just to his left, he could see the bit of fur that didn't blend in with the grass. Now how could he have missed that? Another light flick of his tail and he's padding over slowly, the only sound coming from his bracelets jingling together again as he moves ever closer to investigate the one sleeping.

One overly fluffy ear twitched to a new sound. Like jingling chimes....but what makes that noise? Her small nose wriggled as she came to awareness with her curiousity. She must know what this new sound was! Blue eyes blinked open, and all she could see was grass swaying across her view. With a yawn, Powder stretched on her side, going stiff with pointed toes to get the most of her muscles. Then she rolled over onto her tummy, blinking tiredly around with perked ears.

Anuk keeps padding over to the mass of dark grey and white fur before coming to a quick halt when it moves. His ears p***k forward as he watches what now turns out to be another palui, from the shape of that tail, stretching. Waiting for a few seconds he pads a few steps closer again before speaking. "Hello?"

"Mrww?" Pwder meeped in a small yawn while stretching her form again, tiny toes spreading in the excerise. Once she felt uncramped, she wobbled to her feet while keeping a curious eye still on the stranger. "Eh....ehllo!" Her giant fluff of a tail waggled happily to discover another of her kind. Just how did he find her in this bed of tall grass? Quirking a brow, Powder decided to ask. "Heyyy, were you spying on me?" There was nothing accusing to her voice, but it was more like a subdued joking.

Fluffy ears perk up quickly before Anuk gives a quick shake of the head. "Spy? I'm not a good one of those. I was playing with the butterflies in the grass and saw fur. What'cha doing sleeping in this grass? it's kinda itchy." Floofy tail wags behind him a bit as he takes a seat in the greener stalks watching her.

Powder gave a little giggle and waved her paw lightly at the other. "Really? You could be a good spy with your dark fur!" And if he put dirt on his gold marks, he'd be the perfect match for hiding. The girl tilted her head as she thought about his question. "It's itchy for you? Hm, maybe because I laid in it for a long time. So now it is smoothed down...alittle." She blinked as he waslked away a few steps. But even that was enough for the grass to block her few, and she pounced after the other. "Then where do you sleep? Not on the cold stones do ya?"

Anuk flicks an ear lightly at the tiny argument about being a spy. "Not when it's light out like now. And my bracelets make noise, see?" He lifts his paw, getting a light tinkling sound from the metal bracelets shifting together. "Maybe flattening it worked. Oh, no I sleep in the shorter grass in another spot, over in the trees where it's all shady and cool. The grass there is really soft and there's more trees than this spot."

All brain functions seemed to go out the window as soon as Anuk displayed his bracelets. The light hit them just right to sparkle, and the chiming made her ears perk sharply. o.o! Her front paws shuffled forward eagerly but shyly towards the other Palu. "...Oh?...Ohhh, I'm sorry, what?" She thought she had heard him say something about grass. "You like sleeping in the shade then? Even on a cold day?" It made her fur ruffle, remembering that winter was on it's way as well. Soon.

Anuk flicks his fluffy ears towards her, watching with some mild amusement when she focuses in on his bracelets. Were they that interesting? "The grass is cool when it's warm, then I find someplace else to sleep, a pile of soft leaves sometimes when it's cold. Leaves get really warm even if they are a little itchy for a while." He places the bracelet adorned paw back down into the grass and shifts his weight just slightly, swishing his tail a bit.
