If you do to your parents what my so-called daughter has done to me, I will hunt you down and tan your backsides.
Just because you turn 18 doesn't mean you really are an adult- most of you are still just adolescents and have a hell of a lot to learn,
Don't disrespect them and ignore their advise. Remember they have been on this planet for a much longer time than you and REALLY might now more than you.
If you decide to leave home after turning 18 and/or graduating.. don't forget that you still have family that might want to know how you are doing in school/work and that you are still alive. Call home at least once a week!
As for my daughter- I am no longer going to be treated as just your cocker spaniel's babysitter. This week was the last time unless it's an emergency. You wanted the damned dog and promised to take care of it- I didn't ask for another child to raise- human or canine!

Much better. Not going to complain, it only hurts me, annoys everyone else and does no good. At least I am settled in the new place- starting to feel like home. Tohma comes home regularly from college- her bedroom is already set up with some of her favorite things- but all the anime posters went to college with her except 1- thank heavens. She didn't have any free wallspace in her old bedroom from all the posters. Even the doors were covered!
