Alright, I came up with a new idea for a subforum, based on Deandriea's (from this thread), and others who had mentioned it before's, idea. Possibly a new subforum called "Eggspots", where you could create your own thread and put any adoptables you own in it, and be able to show it off to other users and edit it in any way you want. Any thought/comments? I'll be adding it soon. For regulations: Bumping your own spots will be allowed, because if you are going to maintain a thread, you might as well be allowed to bump it. This might be changed. Only one thread per person. Only your eggspot topics may be posted in the forum, etc.

I suspect it would be useful, plus I'd probably need to be able to make a bunch of posts in a row, especially with the amount of adopties I have from just one site

from the way I see it, it's like a place where you can show off all your adoptables. whicih includes drag cave, pokeplushies, and some other sites

You can add any sort of clickables, and even banners from other sites/games you play. I must've been unclear on what I'm trying to say. razz Ah well, it'll be up soon. And Famous Fyro: everyone will only be allowed to make one thread, so it shouldn't get too clogged. If someone starts spamming, their threads will just be deleted and they will get a warning.

Just curious...if someone has adoptables spaced out over several days, they can just go in and edit their thread and bump it with the new additions?

I love the idea, but it would have to be closely monitored at first, at least.. people might try to overstep their boundaries..

It might be more convenient for both the adoptable owner and the people viewing/clicking them if all new eggs and such are added to the front page. ^^

This could easily go wrong.
While the majority in this site are honorable, there is a good number of
people who will take every advantage to spam, spam, spam.
We aren't talking about one person but a very large group.
So deleting their threads one by one will become tedious.
Unless there is a way to grant only a select group, those who have proven
themselves capable of not spamming, this will not work. Are we able to
have different levels of guild members? So, if someone wanted to "level
up" form ordinary-egg member to being-able-to-post-topics hatchling
member, they could appeal to a person with a set application. This
application could include:
-requirement to time as member (ie. must be a member for at least two months)
-requirement to number of posts
-etc...
So if a member does be a spammer, the mod's or whoever could strip him
of his rank. That way, we still retain guild members and lessen the number
of potential spammers.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, I don't think you can give/take away individual members' permissions/give them ranks (besides crew). It'd be useful, but unfortunately, I don't think you can. However, I can still threaten offenders with a ban. And like most of our other non-eggspam subforums, a minority of the guild will even use it.
If it gets to be too much, we can always temporarily close it. But I don't think it'll have to come to that.

Keeps the rest of the guild relatively free of spam. This new one will be for all adoptable/clickables together and each poster would be limited to one post with edit being used to add your new babies.
