I'm already a huge fan of Meta, for those of you that might be unaware [haha, yeah right!], but today they made me even happier than ever. Ordinarily, I'm note a huge an of most prints that brands use. They tend to over-simplify the cuts of the garments to the point of being boring, or else the entire look is so overdone as to be ridiculous and tacky. The only garments I own are understated without being bland [The apple print ruffled skirt, because I love apples, and the windows print pleated skirt].
Today, however, my faith in prints has been restored! Meta has been doing a lot of fun cuts with their prints lately [I actually really liked the mint and pink versions of the bustle candy house JSK], and today [technically our yesterday] they have a new line to show us.
The Romantic Velveteen Collection and the Swan Lake print collection will be going on reserve on the 22nd of September!
The Japanese site has links to each garment in question and different views of each. It also has the date reserves open listed. The English site just has "details pending" with a few photos. I am especially excited about the high-waist skirt in the Swan Lake collection and the faux underbust JSK.
So, anyone else hear some news in the lolita world that made them super happy, excited, amazed, angry, sad, or annoyed? Please share!
