With boredom came new games, and today's game revolved around moving the clouds. Those soft feathery white puff balls which floated through the air, with every move of her paw a cloud seemed to shift and by squinting a little and using a bit of imagination she could see she was definitely making pictures.
That one over there looked so much like her mother, a lioness with wide spread wings, well it did if you squinted and tilted your head to the left. Of course shaping clouds could only keep a cubs attention for so long and the little multi coloured cub flopped to her side and let out a slow sigh. She was bored and felt lethargic because of said boredom.
She closed her eyes and started to wish for something to alleviate her dreary day, someone or something to waken her from her monotony. Sometimes if you wished hard enough wishes came true, so she squeezed her eyes a little tighter and wished just a little harder. After alls eh had to put all of her effort in to a wish if it was going to come true!

Cloud gazing.
It was something that Eeva Subiani had not yet taken the time to do. She was so busy with her head in the flowers, the water, the grass - pretty much anything that captured her interest - that she had no time to glance up!
As such, she spotted the cub from a little way off and slowed to watch her. What was she doing? She was just...doing nothing? What was the fun in that? Wouldn't she rather be off exploring or playing or something? Either way Eeva found her eyes going skywards and a little smile played on her lips.
The clouds were rather pretty.
With a swish of her tail she trotted towards the female, inwardly excited that she was about to meet another girl! She had three brothers and though she loved them dearly it would certainly be nice to meet someone else. Especially a girl!
She gave a small mewing chirp as she drew near and dropped her head to scent the air.
"Hello?"

She was almost surprised to hear the chirrup through the long grass and her ears perked. Well, wishes really did come true after all! Beaming she opened her perfect blue eyes and rolled to her foot paws in one swift rather clumsy movement.
Once her paws touched ground they as usual started to move, tapping the ground in their usual excited manner. it was hard for her to stay still, and even harder to keep her paws still. "Hello! I haven't seen you around before!" She chipped in padding straight up to the other young female and nudging her in a friendly manner, she wasn't a shy one, that was for sure, she loved to meet new people.
"I'm Terema Kanati, do you live around here? You have tattoos like me!" She lifted one of her silver grey paws to show off her tattoos to the younger cub. "Do you have other family? I have LOTS of brothers and sisters!" She giggles happily wiggling her tail "I've never met a girl not from our fambly before, well 'cept for the older lionesses but they don't count cause they are too big to have a fambly." She closed her mouth then her gaze full of hyperactive excitement at meeting someone her own age who wasn't of her family!
She would have to tell everyone and her siblings would be SO jealous because she had found them first! Terema, finder of other cubs!

Eeva blinked.
The girl was so much livelier than she had been expecting and much friendlier too. It was almost as if they had met before but hadn't seen one another for a long time. It was a rather pleasant surprise. It seemed like today was going to bring Eeva a new friend! And this time the friend was going to be a girl!
She liked this Terema Kanati instantly.
"I'm new." She chirped merrily. "I'm Eeva Subiani of Shadow Clan. I live over there." She waved a paw in the rough direction. "With my mother and father and my brothers. There's Taradhia, Tala and Kohana. All boys! I'm the only girl." She made a face. "You're the first girl my age that I've met." She wriggled excitedly.
"You live near here too, Terema? Are you Shadow Clan?" Her parents hadn't mentioned any other cubs, but maybe they just didn't know about them!

Terema giggled happily setting her butt on the floor with a dusty little flump, her forepaws still dancing up a little storm as she sat there quite happy to greet someone new. "New! Ohh! I bet you haven't seen the awsomest thingies then! Like the cool trees and the big grass and the hyoooge bluish wet thing that has hiplotomasses in it!" She grinned and gave a very sage nod, or what she imagined was a very sage nod any way.
"Oh yes I live a little thattaways" she points off in what perhaps was a rather random direction, she always found her way home at night but her wanderings often took her further than her siblings but her parents didn't seem to mind. She had an excitable energy that drew her forth and pushed her away from the comfort zone to find the new things.
"Oh noas I'm not of tha shadow clan." She paused for a moment looking very thoughtful, she wasn't sure if she had asked her father what clan she was in. She knew her mother had wings though so maybe she was in the winged mommys clan? "My mummy has wingies though so I think we has a ecstra speshul clan name?" She blinked owlishly, this was definitely a question for her dad next time she saw him. he was always happy to answer her questions after all.

She 'ooo-ed' at the things Terema mentioned and felt a sudden deep urge to see them. She was so new to the world and everything was an amazing adventure that she wanted to explore. "Nope. Not yet. I've been exploring around the den, cos mother and father say I'm too little to go running off by myself..." She trailed off when she realised that's exactly what she had done.
"Wingies? Like a bird?" She tipped her head, curiously. "I never knew a lion could have them! She must be extra special. Maybe you're Bird Clan, or Wing Clan or...something." But that wasn't necessarily the case. After all, why was her Clan called Shadow Clan? Because...because they all had shadows? See, the theory didn't work!
"Anyways, what Clan we're in don't matter. We can still be friends, right? My father never said nothing about making friends with other Clans and...we're all the same pride, right? All Ela'wadiyi lions!" She bounced and lowered herself into prime pounce position.
"So, shall we be friends?"

Terema looked deeply thoughtful. Bird clan would have made sense, maybe that was why her mother had wings. That didn't explain why she wasn't going to get them though, she had, had this conversation with her parents already and they had both informed her that she wouldn't get wings. Which was a sad truth, but one she had to accept.
"Oh yes, my mummy is vury speshul, but I'm only a little special cause I won't has no wings, tho I askded for them I cant's have none." She pouted a bit, saying it out loud made her feel a little sad but the sadness quickly faded at the words friend.
"Oh yes! We have to be! I can show you all the fun things and we can play hide an go seeks and stuff! I'm not very goods though cause my feetses won't stay still." She giggles lifting one fore paw, which forced the other to remain still at least until her paw returned to the ground. "I have happy feets" She grins her ears twitching happily.
"OHoh! Do you wants to see something really prettee? I know where theres lotsa purty flowers an an these floatin' flowers lands on them but they isn't called floatin flowers theys called beautiful-flies cause they are byootifuls!"

"Everyone is special." Eeva replied merrily. "You might not have wingies like your mum, but you have other things. A good heart, dancing feets and your pretty." She nodded. "I'm special because I'm the only girl and I always win the play fights." Well...always might have been a little exaggeration. What she probably should have said was that she always started the play fights.
At the talk of games Eeva's ears swung round to focus on her. "Ooh yes! I'd love to play all sorts of games. We could get our siblings to play too!"
Then her eyes lit up and she nodded briskly. "Butterflies!" She squeaked. "When I first left the den with my brothers we saw them. We thought they were flowers too. Then father told me they were butterflies. They do look like flowers though, huh? Beautiful-flies seems like a more suitable name really..."
She bounced. "But I'd love to see more if you can show me."

Terema nodded and her lips turned in a wide grin, she supposed those things did indeed make her special. No one else in her family had happy feet, they were very good at hunting though, which was her downfall really, despite the fact that her last name meant hunter, she wasn't very good at stalking at all.
"Ohh, I bet you're really strong, my brothers are always play fighting, I prefares to esplore though, it's much more fun" She puurrs and flickers her short tail before she hops off. "Come, I'll show you the beautiful-flies field, it's amazin'!" She gave a very cheery nod and bounced off through the grass, though she paused for a moment to make sure that Eeva was following her.
She didn't want to loose her new friend, after all new friends meant new adventures and new games and that was really all she wanted out of life.

"Exploring and play-fighting are good." Eeva agreed, but she couldn't decide which was better. Exploring with her brothers, maybe? She did love them so, though sometimes she wished she had a sister.
Now she'd met Terema, though, she was beginning to realise that she could make friends to be sisters.
"Okay!" The thought of seeing so many butterflies in one place was an exciting prospect and as soon as Terema set off, Eeva followed with equal enthusiasm. This was going to be fun.
"Don't worry!" She chirped. "I'll follow!" And she joined her through the grasses, intent on keeping up.

Her young head swung high in the air as she padded along her tail flicking up over her back in her excitement. She always loved to meet new friends, friends that were not her siblings, though she loved them, there were many and the rough and tumble of every day life with many siblings was hard work. She longed for personal relationships, for friends that were hers.
Exploding through the long grass she stood spread eagled in a field of flowers, her burst on to the scene caused the air to dance with colour as the thousands of butterflies alighted from their flowery perches. She giggles and looks back at Eeva. "It's beautiful isn't it." She coos her perfect blue gaze following a particularly bright butterfly as it flitted past her nose.

Eeva joined Terema on the scene, leaping in to stand at the other girl’s side. Her eyes were suddenly filled with a dazzle of colours all around her. It was as if she’d found herself in the heart of a butterfly dance.
“Very, very beautiful.” She agreed whole-heartedly. “I wish I had pretty wingies like those butterflies. It must be wonderful to be able to fly like that.” She sighed deeply. Then with a laugh she ran amongst the butterflies, lifting her head to watch them twirl above her head. “They make me dizzy!”

Terema giggled and bounded after Eeva, her bright blue eyes smiling happily as she leapt for the butterflies without ever touching them. She lvoed the winged insects "I wanna fly one day." She whispers bouncing as high as she possibly could, which wasn't exactly high her paws momentarily holding a butterfly only to release it in the next breath.
"Maybe we can learn to fly together Eeva, when we are older?" She purrs her gaze moving from left to right after the multicoloured bugs.

(( I am SO sorry about this massive delay. I totally forgot about this one ;o; ))
"Flying? Do you think it'd be easy to fly?" She watched them fluttering about the air - a dazzle of brilliant colour - then returned her gaze to the other female.
"I would like to fly, very much indeed. Though...it could be scary, right? Being up high? What if you fall and hit the ground? That'd hurt."

((ditto ^^"! I have been hellish busy with college please forgive!))
The little silver lioness looked deeply thoughtful, her perfect blue eyes looking up to the clouds and in a moment of clarity beyond her youthful ways she whispered "I think it would be worth it."
She turned to Eeva and swayed her short tail happily. "A moment in the air to see the world from the sky would just be amazing, and worth the owie." She giggles and bounds away once again before flopping down in a spread eagled heap. "Do you think clouds feel fluffy? They look fluffy, I bet they do, I bet they feel like mamas fur."
