(Well I was bord and kinda hit a road block with my other story so I decided to come back to this one.)
this is a story of a group of teenagers that come from diffrent empires, Now to stop a massive war They must learn to trust each other in order to stop the empire of flames from world domination. The story mainly revolves around a boy from the earth empire. his name is Mattew Ozihar. He has a power that is unlike any other he is a extreamly talented earth elemental that can not only bend the earth but metal, crystal, and other minarals. This power has come at a cost though he has to live with the fact that he is an outsider. He bears the seal mark of the Behemoth in his bones and soul. when in life threatning danger or uncontious the seal marks become visable on his skin and thuse he is possesed by the beast of Burden

Those represent the charater When they croos the empires borders. When a charater is lets say in the fire empire s/he would wear the red suit and blue if s/he is in the water empire. Personality:Mattew is useally calm like his father he is friendly allways looking for the good in people. Although When pushed to the edge he can be very unforgiveing.
Bio:When Mattew was younger he dident have to many friends. Until he met Aya. When Mattew was younger he dident have good control over his element until Kai tought him how to control his abilities. Mattew found out that unlike other mages or element knights he dosent need to proform the standered hand signals to activate his earth bending abilities.
With the earth Empire at war, Mattew has found a way to avoid the Draft and the lines of combat. He forms a guild with his friend Aya. Little dose he know that he will play a big role in both the war and, the Immortals plans for world domination. Mattew has never known his father or mother Esecpt for when he was very young. His Uncle and aunt take care of him They are Kai and Maya. Both are about 26yrs old.

The Empire's


This is a layout of the empire's. There are 8 of them but im only going to list about 6 this will explain the military, Economical, industral, and some weapons and techs the empires have. know this not one empire is alike for the most part. There are 8 empires total, the empires are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Ice, Shining(Aka Light) and Shade(Aka Darkness)
out of these empires the strongest are light and darkness.

The curent state of the empires, Is that the Fire empire is on the course for complete supermancy over the lands. They started the war by invadeing the Earth empire. They justify the act by claming the Heir to the Thrown Princess Aleria Odla was assassinated. Along with the destruction of the first Earth empire Jaydeist church, by the hands of Earth empire extreamest. Before the war only 11% of the fire empire population was for the war. After the assassnation of Aleria Almost 97% of the population was for the war. Shortly after the start of the war The earth empires main armies were too slow to mobilize and defend the outter Cities. But at the first battle of Atuom. The Eath empire won a crushing victory. defeating an army almost 193,000 strong with only 40,000 troops. Shortly after the war has come to a draw. The secret help form the water, and wind empire has allowed the earth empireto sustain its needs.

Military:The Earth empire has sevral powerful military instilation's. These buildings include The pillar of Atuom, The heavy Grav Cannon, Syrean fortrest, and the City of Mavtion

Ground defence's

Pillar of Atuom: The Pillar of Atuom is a powerful tower that provides all the energy that keeps the Atom sheild from failling. There are 5 towers total, however there are over 400 towers protecting the capital city of Mavtion but these are tiny compered to true 5 towers. the towers defence's are something diffrent. armed with 90 GC(gravity cannons), the towers protect the 100 HGC that keep the fire empires at bay from attacking the inner cities of the earth empires. Each tower produce's energy to power the 400 smaller towers. Each pillar has a peice of massive stone called the Soul of Gaia.

HGC's an GC's: The grav cannons as they are called are powerful long range ground turrents. They are the heavest weapons of any empire. Comonly called the airship killers, This nick name comes from the way the cannon works. in the main chamber of the cannon is a stone that alters gravity making it lighter or heavyer. The way this works, is that the space and atoms around an object is useally empty. But when an object like an energy sheild of any kind is present, the cannon can condence the particals and atoms to 1000 times their original mass making them to heavy for the air and thus the sheild comes down and anything in it as well. HGC or Heavy Grav cannons can bring down a whole fleet if the shot is aimed right. These cannons are feared by the fire empire for the fact that their ships cant get close with out being blown away, well more like pulled down.

Syrean fortrest: Syrean fortrest is the earth empires most defended fort it has an army of earth legion's, it has 74 GC's and a self sustaining shield. Its Grav cannons have been altered to fire quicker and have a faster reload. The fort is nothing but trentche's/ the buildings have a 4ft thick protective armor that can hold even the heavyist cannon fire. It's buildings are built close to each other to make up the trentche's.

Capital City of Mavtion:The Capital of the earth empire is a massive city that goes from the Infut river to the moutain of Heldain. (which is about 850 miles.) The city can hold more then a million people. Its building's are layered with sevral homes on top each other. The city has 14 levels, each level has a city wall that is armed with seyral GC and regular cannon's the citadel has 3 walls that keep out invaders.

Although the Earth empire was slow to come to the air their air force is not as weak as you might think. How ever they have only a few ships. They do own sevral powerful ship like The Odyssey, The never ending star, The Behomoths rage, and the Immortal
These are the 4 titan class Capital ships. each has a crew of 950 and 1500 soldiers Its arments are heay seige cannons and anti air guns.
Each ship holds a tactical potison in the war holding off the Fire empire fleets that attack the sheild wall and HGC's.
The earth empires main fleets are small but are heavly armored and armed. The most feared of the earth empires ships are the ships known as the Arbiter Capital ships. These ships are commanded by the most skilled warriors known as the Arbiters.

Orbiting platforms
These are large cities that defie gravity. This process is caused by the huge Gravity manipulating Stones. There are only 2 cities and 1 in construction called Hyran. The cities arment's are, 1 Super cannon that can nail sevral ships in one shot. It is alsp armed with 100 large cannons that can do sever damage to any ship. as for defence it has a powerful Energy shield, that can take hundred's of shot's before coming down.

Adramida
Adramida is a powerful platform with a military populaion of 9,000 and a repair crew of 750 This allows Adramida the ablility to repair Ships during battle. Andramida has 1 super cannon that can blow down 20 ships in 1 shot if the ships are lined up. Adramida has the power to hover over a city and lay seige to it useing its powerful cannons.
The ship also has factories locate near the belly allowing it to build more cannon ammuntion. It has a few garison's of 50 glider fighter plane's.

Tarturus
Tartusus has the same arments of Adramida. All but Tarturus is larger and has 2 super cannons. Has an army of 10,000 and a repair crew of 900 Tartusus also has a powerful shield that is layered for better protection. Tartusus has 20 garisons of 50 planes.

Roman's, greek's, Japanese These are the main elements of the Earth empire armies. The helmet is made to protect the face like a gladiator, it has the back layered armor of the Japanese Kabuto, and the side of the Hoplite helmets. The sheild is Roman made to protect all the body. Their armor is a mix of japanese armored skirt and Roman chest plate armor. The weapon of choice is a long 8ft long Pike. The back up weapon is a sword. The earth Legions Are aranged into a Phalanx with all the pikes headed trowed the enemies. The earth nation combines all the greates parts of the Japanese, Greeks, and Roman's into a unstopable force on the battle feild. Although they are lacking in numbers. Thier Geomancers help support the troops by making stone walls to protect against long range attacks.

You wouldent think that they had a navy but they do, Not very big but not very small. The earth empire's Navy is centered aroud Bydon a oceanic fort located in Mash lake . The ships are fairly large able to hold their own in combat. How ever they are not as numberous as the the fire empires Assualt ships. The fleets are mainly sent out with cargo ships as protection. The largest Earth fleet is located West of the Capital City of Mavtion it keeps the fire empire from a oceanic assault. it also keeps the fire empire from getting large numbers across the lake and rivers that split the empire in half.

The earth empires Economy revolves around trade weather its by the desert that suround's its West or the large forest to the North and East. The largest trade route is through the south where the Capital City of Mavtion sends out its costal fleets. These fleets head out to the empires of Water, Wind, and lightning.

Government:
The earth empire's government is a mix between a Republic and a Monarchy. The republic has the power to pass laws and move part of the navy, millitary, and air fleets. But they arnt allowed to march them to war.
The king has the power to declare war but his decleration can be Vetoed by the republic. The king can also Veto any laws that he finds unfair. He can also overide the verdict of a jury in a Empiral court, but not a civial.

Techs: The earth Empire is well known for their advancements in armor, weapons, and deffenceive structures. The earth empire has a powerful military due to the rich mineral deposites loacted near their capital. They are masters at building cannons and defencive walls.
Their ablilty to minpulate gravity has dawned some of the most powerfulest weapons in existance. The HGC's are the high point of this ability. The cannon focuse's the atomes and causes them to become a thousand times heavier then normal. This tech has also allowed them to build the Sky Platform's Adramida and Tarturus. These platforms are well armed and able to move like airships allowing them to fix airships in battle. Anthor tech is called Anisable.
Anisable is a specail device that lets them transmit secure info with out fear of it being scaned and read.

Military: The Fire empire has the largest millitary force. Their total population is 50,000,000 it total army size is 20,000,000, it has sevral powerful millitary Buildings. like Hegemon City, Mark Cannon, Ava Hondu, and the Citadel of Hestsu.

Ground defence's:
Hegemon City:
The city of Hegemon is the fire empires capital it has sevral heavy defence cannons. The city is armed with 120 Mark Cannons These are the cities main and only defence from any air ships.
The cities shield is based on a special generator that expands but as it expands it takes more energy and thus as the city gets larger the shield gets weaker thats why multipul shield generators are need to renfore the sheild. The city holds a population of 15,000,000. The location of the city is unknown to all the other empires.

Mark Cannon: The Mark cannon is the coutner to the earth empires GC. The Mark cannon can fire a concentrated bolt of lava this shot is highly acurate. If it lands a hit, it can sink an airship. The Mark cannon fires to fast for any ship to manuver away from. In the fireing chamber special energy feilds mold a ball of lava This ball spint at a rate of mock 2
when the energy feild opens a small hole at the base of the barrel The Lava is sent flying out the hole trowed the target. The barrel is coated with the energy feild.

Ava Hondu:
Ava Hondu is a special defence bunker that can fire a large bolt of lava trowed a enemy army. It is a massive mobile base that can move over any terrain. it has no shield but has 2 Mark cannons and a bunch of anti air turrents. The mobile base is one of three these base have special mark cannons that envelope the object it is fireing at.

Citadel of Jayde:
The Citadel is the Capital city of Religon, it leads the Empire in all wars its temple guards are called the holy Dragoons. The Citadel is armed with powerful enhanced Mark cannons. the Citadel is strong enough to stop a fleet all on its own.

Air force:
The fire empire can place the largest fleets where ever they chose Theier largest fleet is constnatly being repaired. This is due to the fact that it is constantly seigeing the tower Pillar of Atuom this fleet has a total of 2,500 ships. other fleets like this have been sent out to the other nations
of wind, water, and ice. Although they can send large numbers to the feild the quality of their ships is not the best. Their capital ships, Bahansmit, Decaurs, Graceful Will, Mynution and Baal are heavliy armed and powerful even to the wind empires ships. The fire empire capital ships have an ability to open a slip space to their capital city.
If a capital ship is captured it will Self-destruct to keep the capital city from being found.
Army:
The fire empires army is a order of foot soldier lead by high ranking knights and if theres one present a Master Judge Dragoon.
The fire empire has the largest military force of any empire. although it slightly lacks the quality of the earth empire's. The fire empire's main trooper is called a Haliberd. They usealy cary long swords and sometimes a shield.

Navy:
The fire empire lacks a powerful navy but make up for it in number of ships. Their main weapon is a cannon that spray's A substance called
Greek fire. this fire cant be put out by useing ocean water. This causes sever damage to any ship.

Economy:
The fire empires Economy relies on the Church and concureing land. By doing this they dont have to rely on other empires for their need's. The church is the highest power able to over ride the Monarch at any time.

Government:
The fire empire is lead by a Monarch.
The king has the power to declare war and move the troops. but the Queen has the power to declare taxes and laws.

Techs:
The fire empire has sevral powerful techs. Some of this involve the bending of space. The high power of their cannons and their greek fire

industral:
They produce for them selves only They steal other empires factories and mines.

Religion:The fire empire is a Christain owned empire With the church running things. They started the war with the other empires as a Crusade to "Save the others of this world from Damnation."
Like the Crusades fought along time ago. This Religion is called Jaydeism.

Military:The water empires Military is weak on the ground but powerful in the water. The main troop that they employ is sword mages. These Mages carry swords and cast spells for range attacks. Their main troops are lightly armored and easy to kill. but their cities are built on lakes this gives them the advantage in seiges.

Ground defence's:
Sevral of their powerful buildings are The Merge tower, Silver temple, The Phason cannon, and their Capital City of Mavito


The Merge tower:
Merge tower is a large defence station. It operates like The eart empire's, Tower of Atuom It provides a tempary sheild for the water empires Capital city. It is armed with 12 Phason cannons. It provieds enough energy to protect the whole city. The sheild can last for 12 hours.

Silver temple: The silver temple is a heavly defended temple In its depts it holds the Silver sword and silver scroll of the Leviatain. The Temple can flood its in acessable 5 levels to make it submerge under the lake that Keeps it from ground invasions. the temple is guarded by The best troops the water empire can employ. The Feared Sea Knights. The temples defences are 60 Phason cannons that fire faster, and automaticly Reload. The Temples main defence is its sheild.

The Phason cannon:
The Phason cannon is a rare weapon in that it fires a unstable super energized crytal at a target. The cannon is powered by the same crystal that it fires. The Crystal is energized with plasmons, the crystal reaches its peak energy in a matter of seconeds and then Splits into anthor crystal. The Seconed crystal has 2 times the energy as the first and reacts neagtivly with its mother crystal. It is then fired by the unstable reaction. This sends the crystal out the of the cannons mouth at a extream speed, troweds its tagret. First the Electro feild hist the targets shields allowing the Crystal to hit its target. The crysral impacts with the hull and explodes. Normaly the explosion isnt strong enough to destroy a target as large as an air ship. But it dose damage.
Since the Crystal is energied and contiues to multiply it reloads evrey 5.8 seconds. The Cannon can fire multiple shots allowing one cannon to bring down a airship. in a matter of minutes. When the users dosent want to use any more ammo, they must stop before they fire the last shot.

Capital City of Mavito:
The Capital City of Mavito is built in the middle of Hosey lake. It can hold a population of 1,500,000. It is armed with 250 Phason cannons. it has a army of 50,000. It has 3 shilds that split the city in half. the third sheild protects the other two by staying 20 feet above the other smaller sheilds.

Leaders


This is where Ill be putting up leaders. These leaders are either Rulers or military leaders like generals and high ranking soldiers. They useally play a big role in the story.

Arbiters
the Earth empires highest ranked generals are known as the Arbiters. They are skilled soldiers and great generals. There can pnly be 8 Arbiters at once. One for each direction of the 8 winds. the Arbiters are useally named for what they are known for. The 8 curent Arbiters are Truth, Reconciliation, Repent, Regret, Redemption, Justice, Faith, and Mercy The highest ranked Arbiter is Truth. Although Arbiters are useally generals They do have other things to do besides Leading soldiers into combat. Justice Is the Highest judge in the Empire he can convict other Arbiters of treason, and strip them of their title. Faith leads the masses in cermonial and religious matters. Truth is useally a therologist. Searching for the truths. He is searching for the truth behind the War with the fire empire. The Arbiters have the largest airships in the earth empire. When you face a Arbiter you face almost certain defeat in the sky and on the ground.

Dragoons
The dragoon is the most feared and respected warrior of the fire empire. they are the head counsel of the fire empires Monarchy. they advise the king in many matters. Matters such as Political, economical, Religious, war and taxes. Although they cant make the king do any thing, they are there to give advise. Their main duty is to manage the massive armies of the fire empire. The Dragoons are named for the 8 winds. like the Arbiters the Dragoons are givin titles. Titles such as Dragoon of the ----- flame
The 8 dragoons are. North flame, East flame, South flame, West flame, Northeast flame, Southeast flame, Southwest flame, and Northwest flame.

CH.1



The still and quite of the night, was broken by the sound of heavy foot steps. His armor made a banging sound evrey time he took a step. He ran a while longer then jupend to a low branch. He quickly launched him self to a higher branch, then the tree top. The seconded he landed he jumped again. He flew higher and higher Then he saw it the massive body of mussle and bone. its stone armor that protected its head weilded large symboles and charaters. He slowly flew trowed the beast. The monster was distracted by something's launching elemental based attacks at it. He knew it was his alies. Then it stoped the attacks stoped. The monster turned to him and looked at him.
He quickly reached into his equipment box and pulled a chakram the small bladed disc was easy to throw and could do alot of damage. He threw it with all his might. He quickly claped his hands and shouted. "Multiply! Multi explosive chakram's!"
the Chakram multiplied into seven then 14 and exploded as they hit the beast. The explosions left smoke covering the it's face,
from the smoke came a blast of dark brown energy.
The blast buzzed through the air and made a lound sound as it tore into the warrior's side. He gave a loud cry of pain and fell to the ground. He landed against the hard ground. He could hear sevral nosies fast aproching.
Suddenly from the trees landed two men dressed in armor one black and one white. "Azamae are you alright?" asked the white warrior.
"Ill be fine, just a flesh wound." Azamae answered as he rose to his feet. The he stood blood driped to the ground.
"Thats no flesh wound. You can't keep fighting like that Azamae. You'll sure'ly die." Said the black warrior as he steped back leting Azame stand.
"Azame stop the others have an Idea." said the white warrior.
"What is this plan?" Asked Azame.
"They plan to use them selves as a sealing obalisk. But there needs to be 5 total in order to seal the beast."
"So I guess that im gona have to be the 5th seal?"
"No. We were hoping to use the beast as the 5th seal."
"Thats imposible. You need 5 live human Martyr's for the seal to work."
"Azame you cant the seal will kill you. and the others."
A small price to pay dont you think? Now I need you two to help me lure the beast into the seal's range bind it useing dark and light magic so it cant flee."
"Under stood Azame." both warriors said as they disapered into the darkness.

Azame kneeled there writeing the last symbol in the sand. He rose to his feet and looked out to the other warriors. Their armor stained with blood, they sat there against their blades. His hand was drak red from the wound. He herd the sounds. of the beast fast approching. He looked up at the beast and shouted "NOW!!" Sevral lines shot out and wraped around the beast. It dident bother with the fine wires. It moved forward trowed the group of 5.
"That wasent enough. Maybe we should try useing our magic?"
"I think we should If we dont then they wont have enought time to complete the sealment."
"Right Now lets do this!! Dark bind!!!" From his hands shout dark energy It flowed to the ground and wraped around the massive arms and legs. The beast hualted and truged forward. The beast begana shpere in its mouth. The extra energy burned out of the corners of its mouth.
"Light bind!!!" Shouted the white warrior. A large wire of energy and wraped around the beast mouth.The energy died away. as the beast tugged at the energy. "Now Azame!!!" Shouted both the warriors.
"Alright! Seal of Fire, Water, and Wind, Lightning, Ice and Earth! I bind you to use the Martyer's. I bind you to our bones and very existance." The seal began to glow a bright white and Then it surounded the beast. Symboles began to rise up the body of the beast. and then the beast faded away. The symboles receded back to the seal and wraped around the 5 Martyer's seaping into their armor. Then their fleash then into their very bones burning their existance into the white bones. Azame fell to the floor in emense pain.

15 Years later

A large crystal broke free from the ground and floated there for a few seconeds. It shatered with a dark light comeing from its center. Out steped a man dressed in robes and wearing an odd hat. from the hat hung whit clothe like his robes. He bore a scare going down his left eye, Part of the the cloth hung over his face covering his right eye.
He stared at the hooded man and said.
"You know he looks like you and you like him."
"I know, why have you come too see me again?"
"What I cant just stop by and say HI"
"Not when its you or one of your friend's" Answred the hooded man. He kept his face turned trowed the full moon.
"The other man asked "Why do you look at that full moon evrey time i come here to talk?"
"Do you know what they say when there are 10 full moons in a row?"
"No What do they Say? Asked the scared man
"They say the day after the 10th full moon something will happen that will change the world."
"You dont say?"
"So you still havent answered my question why are you here?" asked the hooded man.
All the scared man did was smile.
(Okay this part gets alittle odd. Not like it was already odd to begin with)

"Have you ever had that feeling like you are falling into darkness?
No Well I have kept haveing the same requring dream iver and over. Im falling into the darkness. and cant stop falling. but then it stops then when i open my eyes I can see the out line of a massive monster. Evrey time it tells me what is your deepest fear? or was it what is your greatest desire? I cant remember, But i do know right before I can answer I wake up.
"Mattew!! Wake up!!" Shouted the voice.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the girl.
"What is it Aya? cant you see im sleeping."
"I know its just that the last class for the year and maybe longer has just ended. So unless you wana join the Military I sugest you get up."
"Alright ill get up." Mattew replied as he stood up. He waited for a seconed and then picked up his side pack and followed Aya out.
"Oh did you see the full moon last night? It was the 10th one this month you know what they say."
"About what?" Mattew said as he looked at his feet as he walked.
"Your not even listening are you Mattew? Well ill tell you any way's they say the morning after a 10 full moon cycle something will happen that will change the world."
"Really?" Mattew said as he looked up.
"Yea" answered Aya.
"So something that will change the world Not likely." Mattew said sarcasticly.
"Oh yea mister smart a**. Well my dad wants to see you. He says he has a mission for you."
"A mission?" Mattew asked alittle confused.
"Yea dident you say rather then go to the front lines and fight you rather help and make a clan and do Missions for hire." Aya said as she kept walking.
"Whats this mission about?" Mattew asked now intrigued.
"I dont know, He dident tell me." Aya said as she contiued to walk. A short while after they arived at the large Hospital building.
Mattew waited he sat there with his legs crossed. He watched as the doctor pased back and forth. "So whats the mission?" Mattew finaly asked.
"Oh right the Mission Well I need you to get permission from your caretaker Kai in order for you to go on this mission." Dr Hiato said as he walked to his desk.
"Whats the mission." asked Mattew
"Alright Mattew heres the mission, There is a special herb that we need despritly to counter the fire empires posions that they are releaseing into the air that our soilder's breath. If we get this herb we can make an antidote to this and we wont have too worry about the posion."
"So im gona have to cross the border to do this mission." Mattew said as he stood up "Ill do it this will be the first time I leave the empires borders. "This is gona be fun."

Ch.2

Mattew sat with his legs crossed on the upper wooden floor. He watched the Class as they formed up. They wore the tradisional Kendo armor, standing oposite each other. The young man said calm but loud enough. "Alright ready begin!" The students charged each other. Their bamboo swords colided and made a hallow echo's. Sevral of them got hit in the stomach, some in the head.
"Not bad, you guys are getting better." Said the young man.
"Thank you Sensei." Shouted the class.
"Alright class dismiss" Said the young man in a calm yet loud voice.
He stood up and walked over to Mattew.
"So Kai still teaching Kenjutsu?"
"No mattew Kenjutsu is for the older kids. I teach Kenod and knights sword to the younger kids. So Mattew are you gona try to fight me again." Asked Kai slightly tuanting.
"Oh no, Im here because I gota um.....get permission from you to go on a mission." Mattew asked as he wathced the other students practices their stance's
"A mission When do you get mission's?" Asked Kai.
"Well I formed a Clan."
"A Clan? Well thats great but I thought you need more then 2 people tp form a Clan."
"Yea well till we get a third memeber I guess me and Aya are Mercenaries." Mattew said with a smile.
Kai thought for a short while and then said. "So whats the mission?"
"The mission. Oh..um its a pick up mission."
A pick up mission That dosent seem that har-."
"Its in the water empire." Mattew said cutting off Kai sentance.
Kai stoped and turnd holding a helmet. "Okay Mattew Ill let you go if you can beat me in a match. Kai tossed the helem at mattew.

The crystal floated and shatered again, the portal opened again, and out steped the man, again. "So your still here. Have you thought of my offer?" Asked the man with a grin.
The hooded man looked at him and said "You havent told me your name Immortal sun of earth."
"Oh my name, well if you want to know. My name is Hyate. Now you have been very unsuportive of my Hospitality. I brought you back from the Null Void prison to get your help. And you havent been very helpful." Hyate said as he folded his arms behind his back military style.
"I dident ask to be brought back Hyate." Said the man. "And further more if I wanted to come back, I would have done so by my self. I dont need some boy helping me out. So I dont owe you anything. But still, what is it that you want help with? If you Immortals are so powerful."
"World Conquest my dead friend." Replyed Hyate "The world is a state of war with the fire empire declareing war on its little cousin the earth empire all hell is breaking lose. The empires of water, earth, and wind are allies but not public. You know helping under the table agensit the fire empire. Supplying the earth empire with little things, but as you know all there empires dont match the size and the millitary power that the fire empire has. As for quality they have them beat."
"Haha!" Laughed the man he then spoke in a more calm voice "you honestly belive I would help you with that?"
"Why are you laughing?" Asked Hyate now angry. "You would also get power and--"
"No I dont want power I want to see this world burn and die! I want this world to suffer as I have, I want all that used my power to meet their own demise." Then he stoped he thought for a moment. I can use these fools for my own ambitions I have power and knowlage they dont. I have them asking me for help. So why dont I have them help me? He looked over at Hyate who looked angry but dident move. "I have thought of it and have changed my mind. Only if you lisent to me. and follow my commands." The man said as he stood up. "Oh no." Said Hyate." We all share power there is no one higher then anthor." Hyate said as he uncrossed his arms and opened the gate. "Well then it looks like things are about to change.
I challenge you and the other immortals to a battle. If I win I get full command, if you win Ill join you."
"Sounds fair" Said Hyate as he steped trowed the gate.
Hyate disapered into the gate. The man folowed.

The room was dark yet it was lit by the dark crystals that hung from the roof. Hyate stood only a few feet away. He was talking into the darkness. "Ive made a deal with him he'll help if we can beat him, but if we lose then He becomes our leader." Hayte said in a low voice. "No we can not allow him to command us. We shall do this alone." Said a raspy voice from the shadows.
"Its quite easy to think you have power when you dont know what power is." answred the man.
"And you know what power is? Thats laughable." Answred the man from the shadows. "You've been in the Null void for 14 years. You have lost all your powers." The voice said with a sligh sigh of humor
"Oh is that what you think. Then accept my challenge and see for yourself. What have you got to lose?" The hooded man said as he crossed his arms.
a few minutes had passed til a reply came.
"Very well. How ever we will all be in the battle together." Said the man as ge drew his blade.
"Very well if thats the way you want it." Answred the hooded man. "Just one thing tell me your name Immortal."
"My name is Lazuras Immortal of light."
"Very well Lazuras shall we begin?" Asked the hooded man.

A few minutes passed, the Immortals layed Scatterd, there trying to move, but They couldent. Hyate reached out and tried to grab the hilt of his blade, but a heavy boot came down and pressed his hand down into the Ground. Hyate Winced from the pain and looked up.
"Wh-Why are you so strong you've been sealed for so long. And yet you... You beat us all. You beat us all like we were children and you were the master teaching us a lesson." Hyate said as he looked up at the hooded man.
"Ill tell you why...... Ive been locked in that dimention for 14 Years. Ive had all that time to become a powerful elementalist."said the hooded man. "Now lets start, world domination takes time."

Mattew layed there tired from the match. "So looks like you got a long way's to go Mattew." Said Kai. "But you did manage to hit me once. and Quite frankly thats good enough for me. So you can go."
"Th-Thanks Kai." Mattew said as he sat up.

Then it hit him all at once. He tasted mud and iron. No not iron it was blood. He opened his eyes. it was blury at first the light was bright and blinding. Hard to adjusest to, but the light grew dimmer. He looked around there was the smell of moss and water. He looked around. and saw him sitting against a large tree. "Its you, that monk from the ferry."
"So your awake. You took quite a hit. You lost some blood but not enough to die. Just enough for it to hurt for a while." Answred the monk
"Ah thats good." Mattew said as he rested his head on the floor. He herd foot steps. He looked back up. The monk was leaveing.
"Hey I have a question for you." Mattew said as he rose to his feet.
He felt the pain kick in and he droped to his knees. The monk turned around and asked.
"What do you want to ask?"
"Your a monk I take it you a Jaydist." Mattew said as he stood up.
"Yes im a Jaydist." The monk said as he contiued to walk away.
"Wait I still have one more question. Whats your name?"
"My name is Zack" Answered the monk as he walked away.
"Ah well nice to meet you." Mattew said softly as Zack left.
What am I going to do the ferry got blown to bits quite a while before we got to the port, Mattew asked himself . I dont know the way to town, or where Aya is. Mattew looked around him and walked over to the water. He stared at it for a while and figured that he was down stream. So he figured he should head in the opposite direction.

Mattew had reached a dead end. He had no choice he entered the darkness of the forest. The forest had many sounds and seans. Evrey where he looked there was some movement. He came to a small clearing. There was sevral trees knocked over in a pile. He could hear some nosie on the other side. Then He saw a boy emerge from the Pile. He looked frantic. He was running and panting. "Hey you gota-- get moving or....." just then the wall shatered and a large creature emerged. Its long tusk had peices of wood and stone. "Run!!!" Shouted the boy as he took off. Mattew followed, he too was running along side the boy. Jumping over logs and other objects that blocked the path.
"What is that!" Shouted Mattew as he ran.
"You Havent seen a Jerico, have you." The boy said as he jumped over a log.
"Is that what it is." Mattew said as he looked back. Although it was a huge creature, it was fast. Then a sudden stop as the boy's hand blocked. Mattew's path. "What are you doin." Mattew asked.
"You havent seen the cliff." The boy said as he pointed to the Sheer drop. "Um this might not matter but um my name is Kaze." The boy siad as he turned to Face the Jerico.
"Um. My name is Mattew. I guess it would be nice to know the guy's name that your gona die with." Mattew said as he reached for his sword.
"Um it might not be over yet." Kaze said as he looked over the cliff. "Maybe if we can get it to try to run us off the cliff. We can dodge at the last second and Make it run off."
"I dont think its that stupid." Mattew said skepticly.
"Well you'd be surprized." Said Kaze as He drew his sword. Mattew focused on the Jerico The beast waited for what seemed for hours. Then a sudden burst of energy as the Jerico jolted towred Mattew and Kaze. They both rolled to the side. avoiding the tusk and teeth. At the last seconed Mattew hit the ground with his hand and shouted. "Ground callapse!!" There was a sudden cracking sound. The earth below the Jerico shattered. The beast tilted and lost its balance as the ground came apart.The Jerico gave one last attempt to climb the failling rocks. But it was uslles There was a lound sound, as the beast came into contact with the rocky spikes.
"Phew that was someting diffrent." Kaze said as he looked over the cliff. "So I can assume that your a agent of the Earth empire?"
"Huh---what. No im a water empire warrior." Mattew answred.
"Oh. Really, I havent seen a water bender make the ground callaspe." Kaze said with a stare. "So either your from the earth empire or i have to find the agent and tell him that his friend sent me out to find him."
"W- what you know my friend." Mattew stoped and thought for a seconed. and finally said. "Alright if you know my friend what gender is my friend?"
"Girl."
"Okay what color are her eyes?"
"Green."
"Wait really?"
"Yea, their green. Listen Mattew Aya sent me out hear to find you. So Can You please come with me back to the city?" Kaze
Mattew though for a seconed and finally said "Allright Kaze I trust you lets go."

Ch.3


The armored warrior walked down the the long hallway. He rounded the corner. The two haliberds walked close behind him. Their Cermonial Pikes Held firm, the blades pointed up. The three neared the large steel doors. The Haliberds sped up their peace so they arrived before the other man.
They reached out and started to turn sevral knobs. there was a click and the door slid open. The Haliberds Bowed as the Man walked through. "Dragoon Chrais Now entering." Said both Haliberds at the same time.
Chrais continued to walk once the stealed doors closed behind. His heavy armor made noise as he Walked. "Well, well if it isnt Dragoon of the East Flame, Chrais." Said One of the female dragoons.
"Dragoon Laris Since when do you leave The ice north?" Asked Chrais sharply.
"Enough you two." Calmly said one of the dragoons on the left.
Chrais shot him a look as he removed his helm. "Since when are you our boss Chrallen?"
"Oh you havent herd? Chrallen is now the head dragoon." Answered Laris.
"Since when!?" Shouted Chrais.
"Since the head Ark Bishop said I was." Answred Chrallen.
Damn him Ive been trying to get that title for 4 years! Oh but here comes Chrallen with his 5 captured Earth empire towns. And suddenly hes the head of us. Chrais thought to him self as he listened to the statis reports from the other 6 dragoons. Apprently the war ws going to be a stalemate. The other dragons admit too their losses in sevral battles. but Report that all the earth empire towns and cities had been captured on the west border. Only a few forts and defensive postions remained. However there was a matter with the water empire. The water empire was getting restless. They wanted the Fire empire to stop the war with the earth empire. Bad chance the "Church" was bent on captureing the Earth empires captial and end this war. But that was not likly to happen for a long time. Chrais knew this, and so did Chrallen. As a matter of fact they all knew it. The earth Empire capital was hidden dispite its large size. The pillars provided an almost perfect defence. Although The sheild allowed objects like airships and gliders. Things like air and water also passed, But when the towers were under sige then not even the fastest moving cannon ball can pass. Why Im I thinking theses things to my self? Chrais asked himself.
"Chrais, Chrais! I asked you a question." Souted Chrallen as He and the other dragoons faced Chrais.
"My apologies, Chrallen. But the Eastern front is how should I say..."
"Do you mean to say Horrably?" Said Laris with a smerk.
"Shut up! On Eastern front we have over run sevral of the Earth empires outter cities. How ever we have run into sevral problems The Earth empire has sent their main Oceanic fleet to blockade them selves. We still get our air ships around this blockade, but we use the water empires air space to do so." Said Chrais as he leaned over the holotable alittle. "I propose that we attack the Water empire and concure their lands. It wont be a problem. All we have to do is..." Chrais siad before he was cut off.
"Chrais you dont espect us to declare war on the Water empire? They are allied with the Wind empire. we dont have the proper time to prepare a massive fleet and army to do so."
"Dont give me that s**t Chrallen you know damn well we have the resorces to do so. What is it Chrallen do you fear that the Church might see this to risky?" Shouted Chrais
"Silence Chrais you have said enough! Laris How goes our spying operations?" Asked Chrallen
"Well We had a report that a ship carring a earth empire Guild unit was sent across the Thyme. How ever our hired Pirates assualted the ship and destroyed it. However, Word is that there was a Monk on bored."
"A casualty of war." Said Chrallen as he looked over at Laris.
"Well he reported in via Crystal. He's alive but is demanding to know what the hell was that. Apprently not all of the earth empire agents parished in the explosion. A Girl was rescued by Water empire milita boats. And the monk says he saved a Boy."
"Why would he do a stupid thing like that?" Asked Chrais annoyed.
"He gave a good reason." Answred Laris
"Oh really Id like to hear this reason."
"He said that if he let the boy die, he wouldent have a lead as to where the smugleing was taking place."
"Ah I see. Well I want a statis report when he finds and captures the smuglers." Said Chrallen "Well I guess this metting is over."
Chrallen turned and headed for the door. The other dragoons followed in order.

It was sunset by the time they arrived. The cities gates opened, the large stone gates were decorated with symboles. The two guards greeted them wiht bow's Kaza said something in a diffrent languge. The guards seemed to under stand what he said and replyed in the same languge. Kaze turned to mattew and said "Your friend is at the Guild hall. So we should head there."
"Hey Kaze ask them if they saw a monk pass through here." Mattew said in relpy.
"Alright." Kaze said as he turned. Once again in the same languge he asked. The guards replyed alittle annoyed. "They say the monk passed through but dident leave he headed trowred the Church."
Ah so thats where he went should have known. Mattew said to him self.
"So where to Mattew?" Asked Kaze.
"Um take me to the guild hall. If you will Kaze."
"Certainly. Come on its this way." Kaze said as he lead the way down the city streets.
The streets were full of diffrent shops and venders. Most sold fish and some other things like fur and jelwary. The Smell of cooking meat and vegstables filled the air, Along with the wet moss and flowing water. There were sevral lights on in the buildings. As they walked Kaze pointed out sevral buildings he had been in. Telling Mattew where were the best to eat at and which ones had the best gear. Soon They were all past the shops and into a residental area. They passed a large building with a short wall around it. Its design was dident from the other near by buildings. It was the Jaydest Church. They walked past its open gates.
There he was Zack talking with what appered to be anthor monk. He glanced at mattew from the corner of his eye but paid no attention to him.
Soon they were moving down allies trowed the guild square. There were sevral buildings. There were sevral buildings one had a large cross on it. the others had a blacklight of a trade carvan. The Last on had a sword crossed with a shield. Mattew wondered which one they were going to. He finally turned to see Kaze heading trowed what looked like a house.
"Come on its this way." Kaze said as he opend the gate. Mattew came to his sences and followed. The house was in fact a normal building. There was a desk against the wall. A door opened to the back room. Mattew followed kaze into the back room.
there she was, Aya, sitting there playing a game against anthor girl.The other girl had twice as many peices then Aya. She moved one peice and said. "Looks like I win, Aya."
"Ah come on thats the 5th time."
'Hey not my fault that you cant come up with a strategy." Said the young lady.
"So I take it you are Mattew." said the young lady.
Aya turned around and smiled. "So there you are. I was worried that you might have died. But as I see my hopes of that are gone."
"huh Hey thats not funny I might have died if it wernt for a Jaydest monk."
"A Monk How unusual." Said the girl. "They dont useally save people. Well they arnt useally strong enough to pick up people. Let alone survive a ship being blown to bits."
"Who are you?" Asked Mattew. "I mean I dont know your name."
"Oh my apologies my name is Hikari" Said the girl. "As you probably know this is Kaze. He is my friend and fellow guild seconed."
"So How did you meet Aya?" Asked Mattew.
"Oh Thats easy to explain, Me and Kaze were the the ones that saw your ship get hit. So We alerted the Milita and They fished the survivers from the wrekage."
"I was looking for you among the survivers. But I couldent find you so I was asking people. and there they were Kaze and Hikari. They said they would help me." Said Aya. She stared at the ground.
"Yea I Said that I would look for you down Stream." Said Kaze as he took a seat. "So I went down stream got caught by that Jerico and ran like hell. Then I ran into you."
They contiued to talk for a while. All the time Mattew watched Hikari. Mattew finaly asked. "Hikari you've lived in the earth empire before havent you?"
"Huh yea but before the war. I lived with my family til the war about 11 years ago."
"So thats it. I know you." Mattew said as he stood up. "I remember you you used to pick on me for fun. It wasent that funny."
"Sorry but I dont remember you." Said Hikari. She looked at him for a short time and smiled. "Mattew Ozihar."
"Yea thats me."
"Wow, you've grown. I remeber now. Oh sorry about that crap I gave you when we were little. But you know evrey one else was doing it."
"Yea well, I guess apology acepted." Mattew said as he sat back down
They talked for a while. Then went to bed.

The next day Mattew sat in a tree near the church. He watched the yard. The he saw him. Zeck and anthor monk that looked to be about Zecks age. How ever old he might be. They talked for a while and. Then he Saw Zeck wave his hand near his ear. Mattew strained his eyes to get a better look.
"Hey if you wana get a better look try these." Kaze said as he tossed a pair of Binoculars up to Mattew. Mattew was thrown off gaurd, but he caught it. "Thanks." Mattew siad as he looked through them. He saw something in Zacks ear. it was a crystal.
"Hey Kaze what do you know of crystal technology?" Mattew asked.
"Um What kind?"
"The kind that gose in your ear."
"Um I belive that is used for long range cominication, Why?" Answred Kaze
"Because our little hero is useing one." said Mattew
"Wait thats only used by military agents." Said Kaze
"Why would he have one. unless you think he is a......." Mattew said before he was interupted.
There was a loud explosion. Mattew and Kaze both looked up to the air.
They looked up at one of the water empires airships that patroled the the cities air space. Its sheild was hit and crumbled. another ship was opening fire on it. They both looked at the direction of the attack. A fire empire ship that just jumped into the sector. Its cannons exploded as it fired 7 more times.
"What the hell!?" Shouted Kaze as he saw the fire ship open fire. More ships jumped into the air. The 11 other water empire ships moved into postition to give aid. The ships were now fully engaged. Their cannons flairing as the cannons sent their hot lead arsanal into each other. One of the water empire ships exploaded as its sheild crumbled, its hull took the bombardment.
Mattew droped to the ground. They both noded at each other and headed to the town market place as fast as posible.

Ch.4



Mattew and Kaze rounded the corners of the cities streets Pushing their way thorugh The citizens as they fled in the direction they just came from.
The fire airships eaisly beat back the unprepared water ships. allowing the ships to prepare their ground invasion. the under-belly of the airships came to life as they fired large steal troop transports down.
Mattew and Kaze stoped just as one of the troop transport hit the ground in front of them. Kaze pulled Mattew into an ally. The both of them headed down the ally and into the main market. Hikari and Aya wernt there. "Where are they!" Shouted Mattew over the sounds of sword fighting. The water empires lightly armed soldiers would be no match for the heavly armored Haliberds.
"Damn, you think they might have headed to the evacuation point. Hikari should know the way." Said Kaze.
"Evacuation point?" Asked Mattew.
"Um head to the south gate. Theres a bridge that heads out into the woods." Kaze said as he started to head in the direction they just came from. "I need to pick up some stuff."
Mattew ran to edge of the ally to see Where Kaze was going.
Two Haliberd's approched Kaze, blades drawn and held at the ready. The one on the left came first. Its blade came down with force. Kaze quickly drew his short sword and praied the attack. Throwing the haliberd of balance, One swift swing from Kaze's blade and the haliberd fell face-first into the ground. A small puddle of red gathered around his neck. The second shouted "Youll pay for that boy!" As he charged, his blade swung and sparks flew as Kaze blocked the four strikes. Then one last move. Kaze drove his short sword into the Haliberd's Chest plate. The soldier went limp as he leaned on Kaze.
Kaze steped to the side and let the man fall. Kaze looked around and took off again. He ran up some stairs and across the balconies.
Mattew turned around, noded and headed back down the ally.
