 Akemi soared through the cloudy, evening sky. Dew glistened on his slick sides, creating a soft glare every time Akemi would move through a sunspot.
His golden eyes searched the cliff side of a large mountain. He hesitated in the sky when his eyes fell upon a small, ancient looking Japanese shack. He twisted his body around in the air, making a circle before plummeting down towards his home.
He landed gracefully upon the ground, not making any noise. He moved quickly to the curtain covered opening, his claws scratching along the ground with every quick paced step he took. Akemi pushed the heavy curtain aside, and made his way into the shack. He pulled the curtain back closed, once fitting his large body fully into the shack. "There. I wouldn't want you two to get cold..." Akemi whispered, turning his eyes to two small pearl like spheres the were covered in silk and placed on the finest pillows. They were located next to the farthest wall from the door.
Akemi made his way to the eggs, wrapping his body around the pair. He settled down the the floor, curling ever so slightly so that the eggs were pressed up against his warm flesh. His golden eyes closed and he let out a soft sigh. "Goodnight, loves" Akemi whispered before falling into a light slumber.

Akemi woke up to the feeling of a cold, wet nose pressed up against his forearm. His golden eyes snapped open and with a hiss, he reared up slightly, and wrapped his body around his eggs abit more securly. "Who-" Akemi cut himself off, seeing his buddy, Fenis, staring at him with a amused look on his face. "A little jumpy, eh Akemi? Settle down. It's just me," Fenris smirked, moving to lay down infront of his long time friend.
Akemi's muscles slowly relaxed, and he uncurled himself from around his eggs, giving them more room to breath. Fenris spoke up again, "I scouted the area while you were taking a nap. Nariko is sitting out front to watch for anything that might pose as a threat." Fenris layed his head down ontop of his crossed paws.
"You're being very careful about these eggs, Akemi. I knew that you wanted children, but are you going to be like this to them for the rest of their lives? They will have to learn how to fly one day, and you know how much a Pan'Lun can get beat up trying. I'm sure that you'll be there to catch them everytime that they fall, but they'll get scrapes and bruises none the less." Fenris sighed, and closed his mismatched eyes. "Just don't be too overprotective, friend. They'll manage on their own," A smile grew upon his face "We turned out fine, didn't we?"
Akemi chuckled recalling a few past memories of his lifetime with his familiar and friend. "Very true. If mother and father hadn't given us that much freedom, life would have been so uneventful..."

 xai scots the sky she spotted where Akemi went down about an hour ago, a nasty old shack. She would go down to talk but he has look outs. She pans on taking out the single guard while the other visits Akemi. She lands and approaches the guard, "I need to get through" she says with authority.

Nariko blushes, recognizing her master's 'friend' immediately. "Yes, M'lady" Nariko said politely, then stuttered "But I must inform master that you're here. Please wait outside while I do so," Naiko paused, and then waddled into the shack.
She found Akemi talking quietly to Fenris. She cleared her throat, catching both of their attentions, and then spoke "M-master, Lady Xai is waiting outside for you. She insists upon speaking to you. May I invite her in?"
Akemi's eyebrows raised, and he tightened his hold around his eggs. "You may. Let her in," Akemi ordered.
Nariko scooted out of the shack, and pulled the curtain away to make room for Xai to enter. "There you are, M'Lady."

xai is surprised that that she just let her in. She expected more trouble. Instead she is pleasantly surprised and she walks in to the deplorable shack. "Hello Akemi. How are you? How are the babies?" she says innocently.

Akemi unwrapped himself from around his children, knowing that Xai would cause no harm to her own kin.
"As you can see, Xai, our children are doing fine. I'm doing quite fine myself. Food has been plentiful, and the weather has been fairing us well. I'm planning on moving soon. Probably to a lower area. I wouldn't want any of the hatchlings to fall... Not that they'd ever get the chance to,"
Akemi got up from the floor and glanced towards Fenris, who was sleeping in the far left corner of the room.
"How are your eggs doing? Any signs of hatching?" Akemi inquired.

"That is good. All is well on my side too, no signs of hatching yet but they are under constant supervision bu Numo and others. I will be honest my reasons for coming are not quite as innocent as I would like them to be. Akemi I have come to ask you to come home with me." She says with pride and standing tall but on the inside she was jello.

Akemi blinked, letting Xai's offer click in his brain. 'Did she just ask me to come live with her?' He asked himself, not believing what his ears had just heard. 'Yes she did, master. I heard it myself.' Fenris answered him in his head. Akemi's golden eyes glanced over to his familiar, who's eyes were now wide open and staring back at him. Akemi moved his eyes back to Xai. "Are you sure that you want this?" He questioned. He wanted her to be fully sure of her decision before agreeing to anything. What would happen if it didn't work out the way that she'd planned? He'd probably just get kicked out and would have to find a new shelter quickly, for the sake of his two eggs.

xai watches his shock in anxiety. Why is he so shocked? Why is he taking so long? Why is he looking at his familiar like that?? I do not get this. What does he mean, do I mean it?? "Of course I do. I definitely have enough room, and I want our children to be together. If you don't want to come fine, I will respect your decision. Also if you want to leave at anytime you are more than welcome." She says carefully. She had practiced saying to exasperated Numo for hours and she had thought this through the moment he left her in the first place. Of course she thought it through.

Akemi got up from his place on the floor, and moved around his eggs so that he was standing in front of Xai. His golden eye connected with her's as he gave his answer, "I'd enjoy that. Really. It would be great for our children. They'd have lots of room to grow." Akemi thought back on how big the mansion that she lived in was" And who knows, maybe-" Akemi cut himself off, not sure that Xai would want to hear of his hopes that maybe something might work out between them. Even after he had left her alone with three of their children.
"Maybe, it'll all work itself out." Akemi ended with a smile, reaching forward with his face, to gently brush his cheak against Xai's.

xai looks at him with hope. "They would have a lot of room! and they wouldn't have to live in this... shack." She says with disgust looking around. She keeps her head turned away. She kinda wanted to know what he was going to say. When he brushed against she was so startled she jumped back but she couldn't help the BIG blush staining her already red skin. She snaps "Then lets go" as she turns her head away trying to escape her embarrassment.

Akemi scoffed quietly. He liked his shack. It was sturdy and it sheltered them from the rain and cold weather. Akemi backed up slightly when Xai jumped from his touch. 'Doesn't she want me to touch her? Do I disgust her that much?' Akemi thought to himself, missing the large blush that was currently spread throughout Xai's face. He moved back even more when she snapped at him to get going. 'She must just be thinking about the eggs, not us.' Akemi mentally sighed 'Well, at least we'll all have a nice place to live'. Akemi moved over towards his two beautiful eggs and scooped them up into his mouth. They'd be warm and safe there. Sure, he wouldn't really be able to talk, but maybe that was for the best at the moment.
'Fenris, get up. We're leaving. Grab Nariko and head off toward's Xai's mansion. You should be there in a few days time.' Akemi ordered Fenris mentally. Since Akemi and Xai could fly, they'd get there alot faster then his familiars, who would have to run. It'd only take the dragons a few hours to get to her mansion. They'd arrive before dawn.
Akemi nodded to Xai, showing her that he was ready to leave.

xai by then gained her composure again. She quickly and thankfully left the shack at a run to launch herself into the sky. She watches Akemi constantly telling herself it is because of her fragile beautiful eggs are incased in his pointy mouth. She watches his form as they head back. She asks quickly "Your familiars will get there on their own fine right?" She keeps watching him though. She also semi-rushes back to be back with her poor eggs.

Akemi followed Xai into the sky, but at a slower more gentle pase. His concerns were on the eggs in his mouth, not the rate in which they would arrive at the mansion. Akemi knew that he could fly all night, without getting tired. He caught Xai glancing at him every now and then, sending wary looks towards his mouth. 'She should know that I wouldn't accidentally poke either of the eggs. I doubt that my teeth could even reach them from under my tongue'
He glanced over at her when she asked about his familiars. Akemi nodded at her question, unable to speak less he wanted to risk dropping, or hurting one of the eggs.
The night was beautiful, Akemi had to admit. The full moon was large in the sky and it lit up their surroundings. They were currently flying above a long lake. He could hear the rapids below them. His eyes closed for a minute as he allowed himself to relax at the peaceful sound. When they moved away from the lake, heading west, towards one of the highest mountains, Akemi opened his eyes again.
His golden eyes landed upon Xai. He had to respect the way she flew. Her slim, red body twisting every which way, turning and yet staying straight on her path. Her amber eyes sparkled in the moonlight, and her white hair blazed out in the breeze.
Akemi had to look away, less he get distracted even more. He wouldn't want anything to happen when he is unaware.

xai watches Akemi close his eyes and enjoy the night. She was still anxious about the eggs but watching him enjoy himself was really a treat she had to admit. She flusters herself admitting that to herself. She was always off balance and flustered around him. She is frustrated with herself and starts speeding up spotting her careful camouflaged in the tall mountain. She was feeling desperate being away from her eggs for so long. What if something happened? She heads straight to it only glancing behind her once at Akemi to make sure he was following. He was bathed him moonlight and she fell for a second before catching herself and lands at her mansion she just barks out "Follow." in her rush for her eggs and away from her stupid fumbles, just hoping Akemi heard it.
