I had this questions because each sign in the circle follow each other, and even if they are different (quality,element,polarity?) Does adjacent signs make better friends because they have a lot of qualities in common, in my example I'm a Capricorn (but Sag over runs my chart to the max)
and my only best friends have been a Sagittarius and its neighbor Scorpio my other is a Pisces? I'd say we have a lot of qualities we probably shouldn't have, so does adjacency or the next sign over contribute to friendships? I know the Scorpio and Pisces are water that mesh with my earth, but Sag is expansion and Cap is supposedly(not for me) restriction?
Another question is with all my earth and fire and lack of water I'm extremely emotional, is that probably a family raising question or is there a astrological reason for this?

You lack water in your chart?
I lack water in my chart.
This may make you actually lack of emotional understanding of others and yourself.
Indeed I do actually cry a hell of a lot, and other people who lack water get really really emotionally upset.
Basically it's the imbalance.
You aren't really an emotional person but you do end up crying a hell of a lot more in private than a cancer in public.
Basically you may appear your firey, earthy self, airy self, but you just have this void...
It's really really a sad thing...
Like a people with lack of fire may appear unlit and cold, then in private they just turn hysterically angry and burst into flames of grief.
Get what I mean?

Yeah i think I do, I lack both air and water, but I'm an emotional wreck I'm the listener and I always try to be the shoulder people can cry on I'm considered gay because I guess because of my sensitivity cuz every other guy I know never cry or talk about how they feel. My South Node is in Cancer if that has anything to do with this?

your south node is some obstacle or something in our life you need to face. I think mine said I need to become a part of a group organization bigger than myself or something

I'm similar with the shoulder to cry on thing, except I seem heartless as well.
(I think my south node is cancer too)
But you lack air, so you may have problems getting your point across.

The south node is an unconcious bias- either from previous incarnations or that builds up during life. It'swhat what we need to release in order to grow. The north Node sign and house placement indicate the area of our lives we need to expand so we can evolve toward fulfillment as spiritual beings in this life
The north node also represents the types of people we gravitate towards and the south node represents the types of people we avoid.

I heard the South node it what your comfortable doing (it might have something to do with past life) and the North Node is what we can do to over come the south node in this life, so I need to be more business like and an A-hole, and rid of my maternal thoughts of my cancer, Its true I'm very maternal and loving and have to serve people.

I like astrology but it doesn't help me discover everything about me, now I'm taking a psychology class and it explains things like Nature Vs. Nurture about how you are and everything. And now I've noticed the teachers I like are all signs I'm supposed to be compatible with Cap, Scorpio, Pisces,etc.
