Hyo laughed, he didn't mean to, maybe it was just nerves. Stop it Hyo or he'll think your making fun of him. He stopped himself laughing but couldn't remove the smile from his face. "Oh, honestly it's been no trouble." His smile wavered, he thought for a moment before standing up. On the counter was a large stack of junk mail and letters, Hyo grabbed these and started searching through them it took a bit of looking but he found what he wanted. picking a pen up he wrote something down then handed it to Laken. "It's a menu for the restaurant, it has the address on it, and erm... that's my phone number." He pointed to where he had put it at the bottom. "I would love to know when you get your camera back."
----------
MauiArt said the following:
"Of course, I must remember the address." Laken put another piece of pancake in his mouth. He went silend then, but his mind was busy with thoughts. Is he inviting me or he's just being polite? What shy guy.. Laken suddenly smiled and put his fork down. He's cute tough... can't believe he's older than me... i wonder how experienced he is, older guys are always more experienced... and here i am thinking about that again... "I should leave, i don't want to give you anymore trouble." he said with a smile.
----------
Kranna said the following:
"Oh." He lowered his arm, "yeah, I just feel so silly when it does this." Damit Hyo say something, ask him a question! He found it quite depressing at times that even his own inner voice shouted at him, not that it always had just since her. He was about to sigh and simply collapse into resignation when Laken spoke again. "Th..thank you, I'm glad you like them. You should come to the restaurant sometime, you could try something proper." He ate the last of his pancakes before putting down his fork and finishing the water in his glass.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken picked up the glass of water and drank, glancing at Hyo briefly as the other tried fixing his hair. "You'll have to wash in...' he said, putting the glass down. "...so it sits still. It happens to my fringe sometimes."
Laken was suddenly more interested in the pancake... he was starving! He ate one silently, but his eyes would turn to Hyo constantly, but never keeping contact for too long. "They taste really good"
----------
Kranna said the following:
Hyo looked up from placing two glasses of water on the table, he hadn't had anything else in to drink, and made a mental note to find time to go shopping. "I'm the one who should be saying sorry. I fell asleep and it was me who offered for you to stay." He quickly washed his hands at the sink before sitting down at the little table. He couldn't believe Laken was apologizing to him, worse than that every time he looked at him he could see his sleeping face as he lent against him. Biting on his lip he stared down at his plate, picking up his fork and started to eat. I always do this, you know nothing about him so stop acting like an idiot. His embarrassment made his hand reach up to his hair to make another futile effort at flattening it.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken walked up to the bathroom and actually his hair wasn't as messy as he thought, but far from acceptable. He tried to fix it as best as he could, washed his face, finger brushed his teeth with some toothpaste then stared at the mirror. Why am i worried, is not as if i was trying to impress the guy. He shook his head as if talking to his own reflection. Nothing more humiliating than trying to impress a straight man. And i can't believe i'm thinking about man again..." He sighed and went back to the kitchen. "I'm sorry for falling asleep. It wasn't in my plans."
----------
Kranna said the following:
He grinned hoping he didn't look like an idiot. "Yeah, it's just through that door." He pointed to a door at right angles to the front door. Hyo realized he hadn't even given a thought to what he must look like, raising a hand to his head he was mortified to discover part of his hair was sticking straight up and stayed that way even as he pressed it down. He sighed defeated and returned to flipping the pancakes.
He soon had a stack of them and after clearing the table put them out. He didn't know what Laken liked so he had gotten out some chocolate spread and butter as well as the sugar. He had hoped to find some lemon but to no avail, probably used it up at some point.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken massaged his own neck cos they felt a bit stiff from sleeping on the sofa, then touched his sore lip as he stood up. "Pancakes?" he replied with enthusiasm. He loved homemade food and considering Hyo was a chef, he couldn't decline such offer. "Yeah, sure... couldn't i use your bathroom. My hair is all over the place."
----------
Kranna said the following:
"Oh, morning." Hyo looked round from the pancake he had just started. As soon as he saw Laken he remembered how he had looked lying there asleep, he quickly turned back to the cooking as he could feel himself go red. "I'm making pancake's, would you like some?"
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken make a few sleepy noises when Hyo moved from under his head. It didn't wake him up but he liked the warmth of another body and it did feel somewhat cold after Hyo left him. Slowly, his eyes opened whike Hyo was in the kitchen. Where an I? he thought, tucking his long hair behind the ear. His eyes scanned the house for a few seconds before he realised that wasn't his mum's house, the university accomodation or his bedroom at his new home. Oh... the restaurant boy. he kept thinking but shook his head. Man, Laken, he is older than you, stop thinking he is a boy!
He sat straight on the sofa and looked towards the kitchen. "Morning..." he said in a yawn.
----------
Kranna said the following:
Hyo slowly uncovered his eyes and looked down at Laken, he couldn't help but smile and gently brushed back some of the long black hair that had fallen onto Laken's face. Stop it Hyo. Your just helping him, that all. Sighing quietly he grabbed a cushion and standing up slowly slipped it under Laken's head doing his best not to wake him. Yawning he wandered over to the kitchen, wondering if he had anything he could make for breakfast. A quick rummage later he discovered everything he needed to make pancakes. Pancakes it is then. His little kitchen was nothing compared to the restaurant but he liked it, he liked cooking silly simple things like pancakes.

For someone who has been robbed and beaten, Laken looked very peacefully in his sleep. Not only Hyo had fallen on his shoulder during the night, but Laken's body slightly leaned against his as well.
It must have been at least couple of years since Laken had slept on the sofa with a guy on his shoulder that wasn't his twin brother. It's not that he didn't like it, he actually craved for such intimacy, however Laken decided to give up on relationships of any sort years ago.
When Hyo straightened up on the sofa, Laken slowly fell towards him, resting him head on his shoulder this time, unconsciously hugging him as a pillow.
----------
Kranna said the following:
"Mmnugh." Hyo groaned squeezing his eyes shut against the faint light. He knew it was about time he got up but he was too comfy. Besides he needed more sleep, especially after how late he was last night. Suddenly he remembered, meeting Laken, offering for him to stay.
Oh god, I did I fall asleep? He didn't remember going to bed. Opening his eyes Hyo realized he was on his couch, he also realized Laken was also on his couch. That would of been alright were it not for he fact his head was on Laken's shoulder. Blushing madly he sat up straight and covered his eyes with his hands.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
((i'm assuming Hyo has fallen asleep))
Laken could have tried keeping Hyo awake but he thought that wasn't really fair. He looked very tired, so tired he was cute. But now that Laken knew his age he didn't feel that comfortable in calling the guy 'cute', even if only in his head. He watched him for a moment or two with the corner of his eyes then leaned closer. "Hello..." he whispered gently. Like always, he had already forgotten the guy's name. "You asleep?" he continued with a smile but the corner of his mouth as still hurting so he frowned a little and touched with his wound with the fingertips. "What do i do..." he thought loudly leaning back on the sofa again. Soon his eyes were closed and without even knowing he drifted into sleep right next to Hyo.
----------
Kranna said the following:
He was too tired to even feel silly, he knew he should just move and maybe try to find some blankets or something for Laken. His legs weren't listening though, funny that, he thought. Okay, I'll close my eyes for one minute, then I'll get up, right. Hyo sat back further into the couch and finally allowed his heavy eyelids to shut. Just one minute. Even his own voice inside his head seemed far away. Were he to realize he had just completely fallen asleep in front of Laken Hyo would of been horribly embarrassed, but inside his head at least his one minute was not going to be up anytime soon.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken was sitting next to Hyo on the sofa, but at the other far end. He put down the phone and looked at Hyo as he began to sort of drift off. Everytime he seemed to move Laken would prepare himself for some words but they weren't coming out of the other one at all. A gentle smile formed on Laken's lips as he realised Hyo was probably going to fall asleep very quickly. If he sleeps i'll talke him to the bed... right? Yes... is the polite thing to do, besides, i need the sofa... he thought to himself, ... hm...he is cute. he shock his head and leaned back on the sofa sighing. "I need to shut down these thought, honestly.' he said to himself.
----------
Kranna said the following:
He felt a bit guilty for being so pleased Laken was staying but smiled, trying his best to hide exactly how happy it made him. "Sure, feel free." The yawn he had been fighting suddenly surfaced Hyo tried to squash it back but it was no use, of course now he had yawned he realized how tired he was, not even wanting to think about what the time must be. "Oh... sorry," speaking between yawns, "Mabey I should have some coffee or something." He didn't, he just sat on the couch smiling and yawning. He felt a bit silly, his body always did this to him, he could get up early and work all day until late but when it told him it was time to sleep there was nothing he could do. Knowing he should sort out somewhere for Laken to sleep he seemed to make moves to do something and muttered the occasional apology.

Magusista said the following:
((eh unsure what to rp here. Toshi wouldn't barge into someones home and steal from them. He just wouldn't do that...he tries not to mug people as it is XD hmm i'll see what i can do.))
Hatoshi wondered up the flat stairs, it was dark. Obviously, people were sleeping and felt warm and safe as they slept in the comfort of their homes. He paused and wondered for a moment what it would feel like to have a home rather than sleeping wherever he could. Climbing the stairs he began to feel his guilt of having followed these two.
"What was i thinking...mug them. Nah man...thats just..."
Kicking some dirt he huffed and lets his legs cross as he slumped to the floor, his hands on his face and elbow resting on his knees. Sighing he looked around the place. It was dry, warmer than where he had slept last. Shrugging he decided to curl up in the corner to sleep. He never was going to mug those...what stray thought had entered his mind.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken held the phone and looked at it. Calling the police meant going there, filling up papers and suddenly it all seemed a bit too much for one night. He sighed and walked to the window. "Do you...." he started but paused. Was it alright if he stayed? He wasn't really sure and he didn't want to abuse Hyo's kindness. "... do you think maybe i could call tomorrow? I don't really wanna have to tell them everything that happened... and describe people..." his eyes turned to Hyo for an answer. It did feel a bit strange being there, but only because he wasn't sure what he wanted to do for sure. Laken was the type to be aware when he was bothering someone.
----------
Kranna said the following:
"Oh." Hyo had completely forgotten Laken hadn't called the police, it was because he had helped him with the washing up. "Sorry, of course, yes you should call them." Getting himself all embarrassed again he searched through a couple piles of mess before finding the phone in a bag of shopping. "h...here, yes I'm sure they'll sort everything out." Stupid, stupid. Asking him to stay, what were you thinking. In the same bag of shopping Hyo had found the phone he also found a packet of crackers, he opened it and started munching a few more as something to do than anything.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Funnily enough, Laken wasn't embarassed by THAT fact. He stared at Hyo for a moment, as if thinking deeply about what he said. Maybe there was a way out of this... but no, after a few seconds he sighed. "I don't want to bother you." he said, his fingernail going straight to his mouth. He would always bite it when he felt unease. "You need to rest and all that... i should maybe to the police, tell them Jaqueline was stolen. They might let me stay there for the night."
Well, at least the police where he was from would be that kind.
----------
Kranna said the following:
Hyo shook his head quite violently and gave Laken his biggest smile he could make. "No, no don't worry about it. So many people think that I'm quite used to it." He closed the fridge and lent back against it. "You are right though, I totally thought you were older but no way 30." He stuck out his tounge hoping to make Laken at least smile at the silliness of it all. "Laken... I wouldn't normally do this, well, it's not been a normal day. It's just...," Hyo sighed trying to piece what he was saying together. "I think you should stay here. Well, at least for tonight. I would worry about you getting home. Besides..." He looked away feeling bad for pointing this out, if you can't remember your address you can't really get a taxi." He was of course not mentioning the fact that he doubted he had enough money to pay for a taxi.

Magusista said the following:
((hehe we all know I am an early sleeper XD))
Hatoshi followed them, he was still confused as to why they were even awake this late. Most were snug in their bed waiting for tomorrow to go and work or spend with their kids...but not these two. They were awake and well not so concerned that they were being followed.
'have they even noticed? nah i dont think so...not the sharpest tools in the shed are they?'
He murmured to himself. The quickly he spotted them turning into a building. For some reason he found himself following further, as if they would leave the door open for people to waltz right in.
Waiting til they had gone he went up to the door and once again found himself starring in complete disbelief and shook his head with his jaw opened.
"You gotta be kidding me? They seriously left the door open..."
His point was proved correct, and well why not he did waltz right in after them.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
(( yeah, think tasha is asleep already XD... i got the ist message btw))
Laken was a very skinny man. He didn't eat much at all, mostly because he would skip meals without noticing. He shook his head when offered food and continue follow Hyo around with his eyes. His checks went suddenly quite pink when the other mentioned his age. He's older than me? He thought to himself, realising he was blushing slightly. "I'm so sorry... you... you know... you look like ... 18.." he gave an awkward smile and continued, ".. but that's good, you see, people think i'm liek 30 or something and i'm only turned 23, so when i'm actually 30 i'll look 40, how awful will that be." he laughed nervously. Damn it, he was thought he was giving away a good impression but apparently he just made himself look like an arse. An older guy and he was had been treating him like a kid, feeling all manly and stuff.
----------
Kranna said the following:
((Sorry Tasha for jumping in but I think your offline just now and I want to reply smile ))
Hyo stopped trying desperately to make the place seem tidier than it was he stood for a moment with a large pile of clothes in his arms before just dumping them in front of the washing machine. "Yeah. Well I don't usually open it up until about nine but sometimes I have to go round to the market and collect ingredient's we ordered. You have to get there before six to make sure you get the good stuff. Would you like anything? I have some food from the restaurant if you'd like." Hyo was feeling hungry himself and opened the fridge door to check inside. He was rummaging around when Laken spoke again, that made him stop and turn to look up at him his embarrassment plain on his face.
"Erm... I doubt that. I'm 26." Sometimes he hated his silly child's face, people always mistook him as one. It was probably partly his fault, he didn't exactly act like your typical adult, but it was hard to act like something when you aren't treated as one.
----------
MauiArt said the following:

Don't delete any post or send a clean reply or it will get very confusing. and and and... if your character doesn't have anything to do and you don't wanna post something, just send a post saying they are doing the same thing or ';pass' dunno...))
Laken wasn't that bothered about messy places... as long as it wasn't his! Lucky for him his flatmate was a bit of an OCD, so their flat was always clean and organized. He looked around abit and tried not to looked impressed by the size. It was quite small compared to what he was used to. "Did you start working in the morning?" he asked following Hyo around the tiny flat cos he didn't know what to do. "You work a lot for someone so young." Laken was sure Hyo was 18 or something.
----------
Kranna said the following:
((I realised why I couldn't find the top! Its from ipplehouse... -_- baka.))
Hyo grinned, seriously impressed, people who could do that seemed so amazing and brave to him. He didn't care if they weren't really thats just how it seemed to him.
"Oh, here we are. Sorry if it's a bit of a mess."
He blushed realizing he had left the place in complete disarray, knowing there was no way to hide it he slipped another smaller set of keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door. Walking in he turned and headed up a flight of stairs to his left. It was silent in the building and his footsteps echoed in a way that always creeped him out, it was as if many other people were walking about. He was very pleased to reach his own door, the first on the second landing, using the other key on the set he unlocked his door and held it open for Laken and switching the lights on with his other hand.
"Erm... yeah I was in a bit of a rush this morning."
He laughed nervously as he looked around at the clothes strewn across the back of the couch and the dishes piled up by the sink. It wasn't really a flat, it was actually just a studio It had a tiny kitchen in one corner along with a small table and two chairs, a couch in the other and on one side a curtain had been put up around a bed.
----------
Magusista said the following:
((ok am gonna jump right in here lol. Yeah i read it all, so you guys have now left the restaurant so Hatoshi will be...close by XP lol))
It was really very late, and dark. Hatoshi hated the dark, but still there wasn't much he could do about it. Sighing he walked down the street clutching his stomach. He had eaten much and his stomach was, well growling to say the least. He had managed to find some food, but some bigger boys found him and stole his stolen lunch. Muttering under his breath at what had happened he wondered down the street looking for a place to rest.
"Stupid, stupid stupid! I can't believe how stupid i was to let them grab my food...tch"
He kicked can in frustration and let out an angry yell and let his body slump to the ground as he had his hands against his stomach trying to ignore the guttural growl for food.
"Oo shut up!!"
Just as he sat down and tidied his untidy clothes he spotted two figures walking home and stared in disbelief.
"Seriously?...they are people still awake at this time?"
His eyes watched them carefully for a moment, then his feet picked up and he began to follow.

MauiArt said the following:
((the message was getting long so i edited XD. Are you feeling better? I'm glad you liked his journal ^_^<3))
Laken was very distracted on the streets, didn't matter if it was day or night. He would always walk looking foward but a little bit towards the sky. He only realised Hyo has spoken half way through the sentense. "My photos?" he asked to certify he had undertood the 'boy' right. "No... well..." he thought for a moment, "...yeah, i published some of them in a magazine once or twice, also had a small exhibition with other university students. I'm too young to get decent work i guess." But the truth was, Laken didn't really look for work that often, he loved taking pictures, that was all.
----------
Kranna said the following:
((yay! Back in the swing of Hyo. It was probably your awesome Laken journal that did it!
Hyo locked the doors with a large set of keys, rattling the doors to make sure they were securely locked. He fiddled about with the keys trying to get the clip to hook onto his trousers he finally got the clip open and on his belt loop pulling his shirt, that looked a few sizes to big for him down to cover them.
"Oh no, I'm just the chef here. My friend Susannah own it, she just needed to leave early tonight." He headed left down the street, head down but constantly glancing from side to side, he couldn't help himself from feeling nervous at night. Even if he was with a large group he would be wary of his surroundings. He had been walking for a few minutes before he realised he hadn't spoken a word, feeling silly he turned to look up at Laken and smiled.
"So have you ever had any of your photo's shown like in a gallery or something?"
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken was indeed very passionate about his camera, usually refering it as 'she'. He wasn't aware that was so weird or funny. When asked if he had another he just nodded. He has many, but Jaqueline was special, it was also the only professional one he had.
"It's ok, i'm glad it's all done" he replied to Hyo as he walked towards the front of the restaurant. "Are you the manager?" he asked suddenly. Hyo certainly didn't like like the manager, but he was closing the restaurant, so, maybe he was just a quite young one.
((tomorrow, give me a call when you are in glasgow to make sure i am awake XD))
----------
Kranna said the following:
He dried the last plate, stacking it away neatly with the others. He wasn't sure what to think of Laken's attachment to his camera, at first he thought he was joking and was almost tempted to laugh it off. He didn't though and after considering how passionately he spoke of photography Hyo could almost understand how he thought of his camera. After all the restaurant had a name though he didn't like it, ';Peaches and Cream', they didn't even serve it.
"Thats terrible, do you not have another?" He would of liked to say, 'I'm sure you'll get it back'. He threw the dish towel on the washing pile and looked around. 'beautifully clean, at least for tonight.' After checking again he began turning the various lights off, smiling as if to over compensate for Laken's sorrow.
"Thanks again for all your help."
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken was completely oblivious to the dangers of hanging out at night. He came from a small village where crime and violence wasn't really a word often used. He went on about his photography for a while before Hyo asked him about Jaqueline.
"Jackie... well..." he said, finally washing the last dish and putting it to dry, "... kind of." The thin man washed his hands and dried them on his pans, despite there being a towel right next to him. "I think you could say that... but at the same time, not really. Jaqueline is my camera... " he smiled awkwardly. "I think relatioships are very unstable... me and Jackie were one, but now... she is gone." he sighed as he began to bite his nails.
----------
Kranna said the following:
"Really? Wow." The kitchen was as tidy as it was ever going to get so Hyo grabbed a towel and began drying and putting away the washed dishies. He listened to Laken talk excitedly only nodding his head in understanding and shaking it in reply to knowing about photography. He sighed quietly to himself he really was new here, most people knew to keep away from that square at night. During the day it was lovely but at night it was where a lot of thugs hung out. "Thats really cool, I love stuff like that. Don't have a clue myself, but I love seeing it. Erm... sorry," He paused unsure whether it would be rude to ask. "You said Jaqueline? Is that your girlfriend?"
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Dish by dish, Laken began to work on the pile that was in the sink. He hates cleaning too, he actually didn't like putting his hands on anything that wasn't his camera. Obsession? You could call it that, but it was a healthy one. "I'm a photographer now." he said proudly thinking how great that sounded when it came out, at least for his ears anyway. "You know... that little square... up the road?" he gestured with his head, towards the end of the road where he came from. "It's great to take... hm... " he suddenly stopped and looked at Hyo for a moment then continue, "...do you know anything about photography? You see..." despite asking the question, Laken didn't wait for an answer, "...there you can get really cool pictures of the night sky." he nodded a couple of time excited but suddenly he sighed, his shoulders sinking down. "Jaqueline" he said under his breath.
----------
Kranna said the following:
"Thanks I really appreciate it." He felt a bit bad about getting Laken to help but he hated cleaning up and with his help with those awful dishes he'll get it done twice as fast.
Hyo was alternating between wiping down the work surfaces and tidying away the utensils and sweeping the floor. It was particularly bad that night as the special had been breaded chicken and there were breadcrumbs everywhere. They shouldn't be of course but no one ever seemed to notice them spread.
"Really? So what are you doing now?" He was curious to know what he had been doing that meant he was out in an unfamiliar place at this time of night.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken looked over to the sink and the pile of dishes and for a moment there he regret having offered, but Hyo wasted so much time helping him out, it was rude just to sit there and wait. "No...no... it's ok, i can help, i don't mind." he said trying to convince himself.
Slowly he approached the sink and looked at it. "I used to work in a pub..." he said with certain nostalgia then looked at Hyo, "... it was almost like this, but twice as many glasses."
Laken rolled up his sleeve. What a day! No only he got rejected at the job inverview he went for, he go his belongings stolen, got beaten up and now, to end the night, there he was washing dishes for free.
(off o bed now... so tired <3 you can reply, i'll get it tomorrow. night night luv ^_^...btw, Hyo is adorable >< wink
----------
Kranna said the following:
"Oh..." His not knowing his address only made Hyo more worried but didn't say anything and finished gathering up the glass. As he carried it through to the kitchen he thought he heard him say something. Dumping the shards in the bin he poked his head around the doorway to ask Laken about what he had said only to find him walking towards the kitchen. He took a step back, looking away from him.
"Oh no, really you don't..." Hyo began to protest but his resolve quickly weakened as he glanced over and the dishes that had piled up. "Well, actually I think I could use some, at least with the dishes. That is if you don't mind."
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken gave him a quick smile when taking the aspirin. He was so aloof that Hyo could have poison him if he wanted to, not wonder he was an easy target on the streets that late at night. "I leave south from here." he said before sipping more of the water and twitching from the pain of his lip. "..Hm... the address iiiisss...." he prolonged his voice as long as he could without sounding too weird the stopped. "Well, i know how to get there... "
As Hyo cleaned, Laken crossed his arms over the table and rested him chin on top of it. He watched the other work as he let out a depressed sigh, shutting his eyes slowly. "My camera... " he said quietly, followed by another sigh and a moment of silence before he stood up and walked towards the kitchen. "Do you need any help?"
----------
Kranna said the following:
Hyo Laughed as he ducked back down behind the counter to continue searching for the aspirin.
"Well I wont think your name's weird if you don't think mine is. Got it." He appeared triumphant with the aspirin and a bottle of mineral water from one of the boxes. 'They really need to clean up back here, though no doubt I'll wind up doing it.' He handed them both to Laken before returning to the cleaning, grabbing the dustpan and brush he had also found behind the counter, he swept up the glasses he had broken earlier.
"Do you live far from here? If you remember the address you could mabey look it up in the phone book, I think we have one around here somewhere... I think." He remembered the state of the tiny office where the paperwork was done ad wondered if he would even be able to find it. 'Why was everyone here so messy, tidying wasn't even his job.' He sighed and continued collecting the glass.
----------
MauiArt said the following:
Laken was still holding the phone, he was actually trying to remember his roommate mobile number, or at least the landline number. It hasn't been lost since he moved in and all his contacts were saved on his mobile which was stolen together with everything else.
"Hyo... " he said quietly so he could remember it later on. He repeated the name a few times in his head before continuing. "Me? I'm... Laken... Claes..." he smiled awkwardly, "... weird name, i know."
The man touched his forehead and sighed looking down for a moment. Everything was gone, his bag, wallet, mobile... and worse of all, his beloved camera. Why did that have to happen now, when he was desperate looking for a job?
"I guess it would be ok... i just..." he put the phone down on the table, "... i really can't remember my flatmate's number. I'm quite new in town... so... but i promise i'll come back and pay you back." he added straight away in a worried tone.
----------
Kranna said the following:
((Yeah Tasha told me about the shirt you were getting sound most awesome! I love those kinds of shirts.))
He opened an antiseptic wipe a began wiping up the blood and cleaning his face of dirt. He smiled and picked up some stick on stitches pealing them off the backing and placing them over the cut on his eyebrow. "It's no trouble at all. Your lucky someone was still here this late, I was being slow with the cleaning." When the man smiled though he paused and turned back to the box, hiding his face. "I..I don't have any money on me but I have some back where I live, It's just round the corner so after I lock up I could get some to lend you." He packed away the medical items back into their box. "Would you like something for the pain? I think we have some aspirin under the counter." He wandered behind the counter where the till sat and rummaged through the boxes of paperwork and glasses. "Oh, sorry." He appeared again an apologetic smile upon his face. "Sorry I never asked your name, I' Hyosuke but please call me Hyo."

MauiArt said the following:
Laken was surprised by all the rushed actions that followed. He watched from the chair quietly until the boy came back. He didn't realise he has been hurt. Of course, his lip and head hurt a bit, but because of all the action his adrenaline was quite high, numbing the pain. "Oh..." he sounded as the other pointed towards his eyebrow, "... is it hurt?"
The thin man touched his face and frowned slightly as he realised he was bleeding. "I'm sorry for the trouble..." he added, staring at the blood that stayed on his fingertips from touching the wound. "... they took everything, i can't even pay for the bus or anything." He looked at the boy with a small smile. "Thanks... for... you know... letting me in and stuff."

His eyes opened wide and throwing open the door grabbed hold of the man's arm with both hands pulling him inside closing the door behind him. He felt so stupid for being afraid of him, though now he saw him under the restaurant lights he realized just how much taller he was which although it was a bit unsettling he was sort of used to being a lot shorter than others. Still holding the man's arm he dragged him over to the nearest chair.
"Please sit down, I'll get the phone and a first aid kit."
Rushing off towards the kitchen he nearly slipped on the broken glasses he had spilled moments before recovering his balance just in time to avoid a nasty fall. Searching in the cupboards he found the green box that was the first aid kit and gabbed the cordless phone from the wall by the back door. Returning to the dinning area he remembered just in time to avoid the glass, dropping the box on the table beside the man he passed him the phone nearly dropping it as he did.
"Sorry. Do you mind, that look bad." Pointing at his eyebrow.

The man had obviously been in a fight. There was a cut on his like and on his eyebrows as if he had been lucky enough to turn away from a headbutt. Apart from those injuries, he looked alright as he stared back at the othe apologeticaly. "Hi... i'm sorry to bother, but... i've been robbed..." he pointed towards the end of the road, "...they took everything and i don't really live around here, so...". The young man paused, thinking that the restaurant staff was probably thinking he was quite dodgy and would never let him in. "... i know this is odd, but do you have like... a phone... i could use?"
Laken, the young man standing there, seemed very calm, speaking with pauses and slowly as if he was searching in his mind for words, all the time.

With a yelp of surprise the tray in his hands slipped sending several glasses cascading to the ground. He managed to stop all of them from falling by clutching the tray to his chest but the ominous crashing sounds told him he was still going to have to sweep up a good few. Looking over at the door he stared at the man who had knocked. Not knowing what to do he carefully placed the tray down on one of the tables and walked over to the door. Hesitating he turned the key in the lock, turning the door handle as he did. The door opened just wide enough for him to peer out.
"Hello?"
'Oh dear, he does seem to be in need of something but what if he's a robber. No that's silly, the tills are emptied at night before anything else, there's nothing to take. Still...'
He chewed on his bottom lip, a habit that always surfaced when he was the least bit unnerved.

It was a Thursday night. The moon appeared bright on the sky. At that time, those streets were usually calm and silent. Suddenly outside, not too far from the restaurant there was a loud shout and noises that seemed like a fight. It didn't last for long, soon everything was quiet again, until a gang of three ran pass the restaurant door laughing to themselves.
Far behind them walked a tall thin young man who seemed to be struggling for air. "Damn it.." he moaned trying to catch his breath as he paced towards the restaurant door. He saw the lights were still on, but the door was already shut. 'There's not point in running... it's all gone' he thought before he pressed his face against the glass door and knocked.

"Muhh, what a night." He lay slumped across one of the many tables within the dinning area, the place was a mess with wine glasses and plates scattered around. Everyone had already left, he wasn't supposed to lock up tonight but Susannah had begged him as she wanted to leave early to meet her boyfriend. Lifting his head he looked through into the kitchen and sighed, he had only managed to clean about half of it so far and there was still a mountain of dishes to be done. He slapped his hands down on the table top, standing sharply and taking a fighting stance.
"Right mess you wont get the best of me." Marching through to the kitchen his forced enthusiasm quickly faded but he still made himself grab the mop and bucket.
The restaurant itself was not very large with seating for only about twelve people but he liked it that way it meant he was free to try what he liked and was not constantly rushed off his feet. Leaving the mop resting against one of the tiled walls he wandered back through grabbing a tray on the way and started collecting up the leftover dishes.
