Talk about how the Bud Shootout is not even a race anymore. The new format is that the top 6 manufatures in points from the previous year are going to race in it. Meaning Carpentier is not racing, neither is paul menard or Joe Nemechek. Also, If I am right, Tony Stewart will not race or Mark Martin. That pisses me off.

They should at least have former winners be allowed to race.

garuantee you that is why they changed, because coors does the pole award. I think all of us should not watch the shootout and tell everyone we can not to watch it. Maybe if the ratings are really bad they will change the format.

thats stupid and messed up. That probably did change it because of that. And they screwed themselves. They screwed their own driver too! Kasey Kahne is still trying to get in the Chase and more than likely will not finish the top 6(this coming from a major KK fan!) so that was stupid. Now Coors needs to have a Shootout for the pole winners like the Bud Shootout was. I doubt I will watch it.

Kahne the only dodge driver capable of coming close to winning.

That's why stremme likely will be in the shootout instead of newman seeing as stremme will probably be in the 12 car.

Yeah, it's the top 6 from each manufacturer, so there will be the top 6 Fords, top 6 Chevys, top 6 Dodges, and top 6 Toyotas. Basically, it's going to turn into a bonus race for Rousch, Hendrick, and Gibbs, since there isn't a dominant Dodge team.
