I've never heard of Ravenwest before, but I have heard Schector was a good brand.

getthe schecter. they're a good brand, and it doesnt have a floyd rose. speaking from experience, floyd rose trems can sound really cool, but the double-locking system makes them a b***h to tune, and near impossible to change the strings on. the schecter is a good guitar, and definitely more user friendly.

I see. Well thanks a lot guys. biggrin
I went to my guitar teacher though and he said to look for a double locking Fender or an ESP at the same price which would be totally awesome.
I hope I get one. 3nodding ... This random blabber was brought to you by IMRTL.

Once I got my jackson I realized that I'm def. sticking with them...that or BC rich.
If you want a schecter, get the Hellraiser...definitely. I've played a few schecters and that was by far the best.

Gravechylde I've always heard that BC Rich suck (unless you get one of the higher end models). BC Rich do suck, but, unless you have a warlock, they aren't too bad.....not many guitars suck more then a BC Rich Warlock.

It's just that BCRich puts waaaaaay more effort into designing than in sound quality.
They do suck.

If you give a BC Rich warlock or BC Rich Virgin to Yngwie Malmsteen he WILL make it sound good.
