I think this would be a great game instead of having Hugo,Chris and Geddoe as the main characters it would have Flame Champion,Wyatt(Jimba) and Geddoe.
It could explain how they all got there True Runes and could take place 50 years before Suikoden 3 during the first Fire Bringer this would be a dream game for me because i always thought it would be a great idea.
Suikoden 3 left alot of story to be told on the Flame Champion,Wyatt(Jimba)and Geddoe because it didnt explain alot of back story just little bits like we know the were all in the Fire Bringer we know they all had True Runes but we dont know how they became friends or how they got here True Runes.

Plausible, and that would make me happy for many reasons, however, it will probably never happen. A lot of the stuff you mentioned was actually revealed in S3 to form more back story. It wasn't really elaborated on, true, but it wasn't given to us in such a vague manner that it would require a spin-off game to show us in more detail.
'Sides, there'd be no surprises. We already know what happens.

QuistisTrepe19 Mm, I disagree there. I think the First Fire Brigner War would be a great story, and I'd personally love to see it. And just because we know what would happen to three of the main characters in the end doesn't mean it won't be emotional. Like, for example, we all knew that Harvey Dent would become Two-Face in The Dark Knight, right? That didn't make it any less emotional or tragic. I didn't. neutral Thanks for the spoilers. emo

That's one game that definitely would make me happy, even if I know what happens.
I had doubts about the Batman movie, since I'm one to chalk things up to hype 90% of the time, but actually loved it.

I don't think I was ever interested in the Flame Champion character or Geddoe for that fact. I'll likely not be too thrilled about such a game.

I would be thrilled. We know what happens to the flame champion, Wyatt and Geddoe. I just want them to go in detail. It is an interesting story. I mean it is like saying you live in America right now ... so why should you bother learning about the past... that sort of thing.
I really do want to learn about their travels in better detail though.

Honestly, I think there's far better things that could be done, but I'd play it even though I find the Trinity system annoying. I think there's better things to be done... like maybe something that comes AFTER Sui 3? *grumble*
