well all the recent skylines have been preety heavy, but yeah. with better gas miliage, but for that much power, i supose its good. beat an audi r8 and porsche 911 on a track and moutian road test.

Power isn't the only element to a car m8. Weight is as well; if you can take 400kg of weight out of the new GTR, then you're going to have a right monster on your hands.

What are you talking about? I have driven and R8 at the Nurburgring and I must say it's brilliant so brilliant in fact I'm currently looking into buying one. I have driven the GT-R and I must say your correct about it being slightly overweight. But honestly Nissan let me borrow one I got to tinker with it I removed about 650kg and honestly it was a MONSTER... However almost all of the comfort in the GT-R was taken away. Well after that I threw on a big TURBOCHARGER (the HP jumped from 480 something to a whopping 627HP when I added the turbo) I tried to drive it without all the weight on it... and the even funnier thing is I ruined all four tires on the beast and all it could do was drift... and not a very pleasant one, mind you. SO then I put the heavy pieces again, left the turbo on and drove it. I admit it was nice and regained some of it's driveability as you might say. I think that the ONLY way a GT-R would beat the R8 in a racetrack is that the driver is biased towards the GT-R. Even then though GT-R is not half as nice to drive (anywhere, even though it's brilliant on the track) as the R8. On a mountain road I met one of my buddies with a GT-R and raced him up and down the smokey mountains a countless amount of times, we even switched cars, I admit the GT-R was a lot more fun, but in no way shape or form would it possibly beat the R8. I know this is probably suicide saying this but I enjoy keeping people informed upon the real performance of what I call "HYPER CARS"
Thank you,
Webster

You said you already owned an R8? The lies unfold.

Nissan let you borrow a GT-R, let you install a bigger turbocharger (which would require some conversion considering the car's twin turbo), beat the s**t out of it and then give it back?

... Not for nothing, but I just simply don't believe you, Webster. I'm a very reasonable guy, and I know that anything is possible, but that just sounds stupendously ridiculous. If Nissan did that, I'm going to walk into a Nissan dealership tomorrow and ask them if I can borrow one of the new Maximas, jerk off and spew my dirty load all over the dash, and then give it back. I think it'll go well.

^^^I guess the poor fellow just didn't know: the original manifolds and back housings of the new GTR....are ONE PIECE CASTINGS. You're NOT getting a bigger turbo in there without re-fabricating new manifolds, and somehow balancing the gasflow between them. Big single? Good luck m8, that's what a ton of people are trying to figure out now.

I think we'll see Dev on UTube one of these days, trying to convince people that his Neon is indeed an "SRT4." rofl

Today I went to my local Audi dealership and they let me borrow an R8. I swapped in a Bugatti Veyron motor and fitted wheels and tires from this,

changed the interior from black to neon green and gave it some windshield wiper LEDs to make the washer fluid glow. It was pretty fun, but tomorrow I'm going to hit up Ferrari and see what I can do while test driving a 599.
