Medley sat within the snow, the snowflakes pecking at her curled pink hair. "It's cold Heila.." she said as she snuggled up to her Houndour. "I guess it wasn't a good idea to come out in this snow in the first place..." Medley and Heila had decided to go out and train upon ice pokemon. They thought they got lucky when they found a Delibird and chased after it. But when trailing after it, a blizzard hit and they got stranded within it. They followed threw the snow until they found a very shallow cave and took refuge in it. They were in need of help.
Heila draped herself over Medley as she shivered. Even being a fire Pokemon, she was cold herself. "Hound." she said as she licked Medley's cheek. The lick was to ensure that Heila was there no matter what.
Medley nodded her head as she pushed back her pink lock. "Thanks Heila." she said as she patted her head. "I wish Meeka was here. Than we wouldn't be in this mess. I'm sorry Heila. I was just so caught up in wanting to evolve you that I forgot about your safety."
Heila shook her head and gave her another reassuring lick. They were going to make it through the storm. Plus, she didn't need Medley getting depressed. It would wear her down and one of them had to be the strong one. Apparently, it was Heila herself.

Nyght huddled down on Fintan's back, covering her face from the snow. The Tauros snorted icy air as he continued plowing through the deepening banks of fluffy whiteness. He knew that he needed to find shelter, because even though his fur blocked out the cold, Nyght didn't have fur, and she needed shelter. Thankfully, he was happy to have her ride him, so they could faster. His legs were getting a bit cold as well though, which wasn't a very good sign.
Just as the pokemon was wondering what would happen to the two of them, he spotted a dark blotch through the white sky. "Taur!" Trying to alert his trainer to the discovery, he hastened his speed, wanting to get out of the biting wind himself. Nyght blearily looked up from the warm of the Tauros' back and smiled, though quickly covered her freezing lips. "Nice job Fin! Can you get us to that cave, boy?" The Tauros nodded firmly, "Taur!" He would follow her orders no matter how hard they were, and walking wasn't actually that hard of a task.
As they broke through the rest of the snow separating them from the cave, Nyght looked up, and suddenly spotted another trainer and pokemon, "Oh! Uh, hi, sorry to interrupt, but do you mind if we join you guys? Terrible weather you know..."

Medley blinked. It was rare even for herself to see another out in such weather. "Sure..!" she said, trembling from the cold more. She tried to hide her face though. She was young looking and getting cheek pully's wasn't in her fashion. "So uh..." she questioned as she patted Heila. "What exactly...are you doing out here? Rarely are people out during such a blizzard..."
Heila teeth chattered. But she didn't growl. She recognized the person, as the person seemed to be a friend of Meeka. Since she knew the person, there was no need for her to get defensive. The light pat Medley gave her made her whine. She was beginning to hate the cold already.
Medley smiled lightly at the Houndour, her plump cheeks flowing up from her face. "Think you can burn a fire Miss Heila?" she questioned. But when Medley turned her face about slightly, she couldn't see any bits of wood around. "Never mind..." she said, sighing. The tightened herself though. It was really cold now.

Sliding down from the Tauros' back, Nyght smiled at the trainer. Looking to the Houndour, Nyght waved, recognizing her as the pokemon Meeka had caught a while ago. Hadn't she said that she was sending the pokemon to her younger sister? "Do you happen to know Meeka?" Holding her hand out to Heila, Nyght moved slowly to pet the pokemon, not wanting to scare her.
Looking back to the girl, Nyght had further suspicions about her relation. She did look young enough to be Meeka's younger sister. "Oh! Well, I came out looking for pokemon, but the weather got bad, and town is too far away to get back in time. I figured we'd find a cave, and we found this one just in time!"
Looking back to the fire pokemon, Nyght's face lit up, "Heila could still perform a weak fire attack like Ember! It'd create some heat...." Pulling her knees to her body and sitting down, Nyght looked back to Fin, "Gonna join us buddy?" The Tauros snorted at that and settled down next to his master. Nyght leaned her back against the pokemon, appreciating the warmth. Fin didn't feel that cold, which reassured Nyght, she didn't want him to get too cold. But he had a thick coat and plenty of muscle to keep him and Nyght warm.
