I hate it in the context of a love pairing. In the context as a parent pairing, I'm in full support.
I think it's stupid that you can't look at someone as a father without having others think you're in full-blown love.

it depends on the situation. i think ed looks up to mustang as a father figure, but i dunno. i mean, ed never really had a fatehr since honenheim left and he's had mustang to look up to.

as much as i like RoyEd as a shonen-ai pairing, i think i can see them more as a father-son thing. i mean, roy's always looking out for edward and edward really seems to think of roy like that.
