recently my home & a big chunk of the surrounding area of the twins cities & suburbs (in Minnesota) got hit by a rather big storm. to date it's the biggest storm i've ever been in. it was only a small fraction of what happened down south with the hurricanes, but still makes me realize something. everything i've worked for & everyone i love can be gone in a second. a blink of the eye & 'poof' it's gone. so i give praise to Jesus for not only sparing me & my families lives, but also for teaching me such a valuable lesson. praise the Lord, Amen.

well lets see I have so much to be thankful and praising the Lord for, one thing in particular is for my life and my family's. You see about 7 yrs ago we were in a car accident which could of taken our lives and others but with the Lord's protection one really got hurt but myself, I had to go under surgery and had to get my spleen remove due to it errupting from the accident, but thats all in the past for I know some ppl could of taken that and turn it around where they would blame God and even curse him for the suffering they went thru. But as for me it wasnt like that actually it brought me closer to God and made me realize that life is precious and that we shouldnt take advantage of our lives and what we hold dear to in our hearts and life. So the one thing I would advice people now a days is to not take advantage of life and to make sure that their relationship with the Lord is strong and that no matter, what that your relationship with your family is right for you never no when they may be taken from you.

One time i was riding my bike to work, and it started to rain right. So i mumbled a quick prayer, and seconds later the rain stopped. Iwas quite surpirsed although i shouldn't have been. SO i got to work safely, and not wet and, when i got to my job the rain started again; but it doesn't end just there, no. I work at little ceasar's and i was hungry when i got there, but at the time i don't think i had any money. And my boss was kinda the grumppy sort so i didn't ask her if i could make a pizza for myself, but thats cool cause GOD had it covered. I said a little prayer in my head, and again, a little miracle happened, it seemed someone had made a pizza for the whole work crew.

Like today I had such a rough day. I got into a small fight. Nothing major! I ain't going to say what it was or who the people I were fighting with, but when I got done fighting I went to the office with the person I was fighting with. I kept thinking to myself "Everything will pass. Everything will be ok." I was frightened, but as soon as we both got there talking to the principal it came. The girl I fought with blamed everything she did on me and I didn't say a word. I was frightened! After talking to the principal. I think the principal knew I was scared and frightened, but instead he said not to do it again. "I'll let you and the person you were fighting with off with a warning." Then we both went on our way. Thats when I apologized for reacting the way I did. She was the kind of person who didn't corperate with others. She said "ok...whatever, but I'm sorry to." I was so surprised in her. She did it and all other times she just cursed at me. Thats the first time shes ever excepted my apology. I think God was with me in the situation and I thank him for that.
*Praises the Lord*
I'm a christian, but is not growing as one. I want to get more involved and I want to do better for myself and others.

I'd like to thank God for blessing me with a life full of challenge as well as relief. He lets me handle things on my own when I will learn from them, and takes over for me when it really is too much for me to handle on my lonesome.
He has gotten me through a bad relationship that I'm greatful I had! I learned about myself to a deeper magnitude and deeper level.
Then I met the love of my life when I was least expecting it.
Then I have great friends. Even the ones that I'm just like big sisters though or are like brothers to me that repel against the ''gushy'' stuff, I'm thankful for them.
For Mike, a great guy friend of mine. He is going to the Army and though I personally worry for him (don't tell him I said that), I'm glad he is going to get to see the world. He really deserves it.....

What hasn't God done? He is the author of life. He gives life eternal. He allows me to be a part of His kingdom, by allowing me to serve in a church. He talks to me. He listens to me. He loves me. He never turns his back on me. He is happy with me. He is sad with me. He gets dissapointed with me. He is always there for me. He is my hope, my love, my joy, my peace and my salvation.

January 1, 2006 my twin sister passed away. Needless to say I was devesated but never blamed God but knew there had to be a reason. So I began reading the scriptures and going over what death is and found that everyone has a time line on this earth, and her time was up. It doesn't matter if we jog every day or take vitamins, when our time is up it's up. So out of her death came out a new rise to follow Christ and really get into the word of God. To find out questions I have had for many years but too lazy or didn't know where to look. With her death has led me closer to God and having a relationship with him and get to the facts because we aren't promised time on earth and what do we do with our time on earth. What is our purpose on earth.... these were the questions I found answers to out of my sisters death. I know she is in Heaven! She has no more tears or pain and she is with God! And either my own natural death or rapture or whatever happens when I die, I too will go up to heaven and see her.
