Both rule, BUT

Jason becker was and would've been the best known guitarist.
so my vote goes to Becker.

have you actually listened to cacophony?

Jason's 80's material blows away even Yngwie's performance with the japan philharmonic orchestra, and i LOVED that.

BECKER!

It doesn't matter if he plays faster or not.

It's that the music is written incredibly well and he plays it with alot of emotion.
