Despite the fact everyone else I've asked adores the film and has gone to see it again, I didn't like this one.
It might be to do with the fact there is only so much Abba I can take in day, and this film crossed the line, but I just think it wasn't funny enough to be funny and not serious enough so it just ended up in the middle and was silly. Like a mid life crisis, pathetic kinda silly.
I almost hated this film as much as HSM, it just seemed to drag on forever, especially the songs.

>.> I already planned on not seeing it, this sealed the deal! I'll keep the $8.

Mmkay, so my friend from Alaska and I were in Oslo, and this was one of two non-Norwegian films playing (the other was High School Musical 3). So out of sheer boredom (and a lack of trains to Askim for the next four hours), we went to go see it.
Most of the movie wasn't great. However, the scene with the guys in flippers and "James Bond" turning out gay was amazing. As for the music... yeah, Abba makes me want to kill someone most of the time. In fact, the only song done really well was the one with the three dads singing.
