Daven shunpoed into the arena and saw Bullene standing there nervously.

He took off his haori, his gi top, the whips and his zanpakto and set them all aside. Naked to the waist, he walked up to Bullene.

"You got my letter. Good."

Daven stepped forward and let his reiatsu flow. He allowed the reiatsu to compress around his hands, allowing him to do more damage with his punches than he normally would just punching.

He wasn't using anywhere near his limit, but this would be a very interesting fight.

He readied himself and took his normal stance of waiting for the other to attack. But at the last second, he moved, attacking Bull.

He led off with a standard backfist, reverse punch and backfist combination.

Daven was somewhat surprised that Bull was able to grab his hands during his attack, and when he shifted to kick at Daven's knees, Daven jumped straight up and over Bull's head, doing a flip over him.

Because Daven didn't have a grip on Bull's hands, the momentum pulled his fists out of Bull's hands. Daven continued the momentum by doing a handspring away from Bull and dropped out of his stance.

"Good! That was well-countered."

He readied himself for a counter-attack, even though he looked to be totally unprepared.

Daven was taken completely by surprise with the reiatsu blast from his FOOT. The flip over him to land behind was pretty much expected, but the blast was INTERESTING.

He's improved a LOT. I may have underestimated him.

Daven realized that Bull was trying for a spine strike, and he decided to be a sneaky fox.

He raised all his tails up as though he were trying to defend his back, but he dropped under the level of where the tails were now and swept behind him, making a solid hit with his foot and taking Bull's out from under him ((sorry autohit, but I have to do this to set up my next)).

With Bull going down, Daven leaped high into the air and stopped there, not waiting, but considering his options and readying some of his stronger Arts.

"Good hit Bull. Well done."

Daven saw the wave of dust and dirt coming at him, so he wrapped his reiatsu around him like a cloak, shielding himself from the physical effects of the dust.

So when the reiatsu punches started, they only impacted his reiatsu shield.

Daven shunpoed to next to Bullene. "Good job, but you have to know that if you can shoot your reiatsu, you can also do other things with it."

With that, Daven let his reiatsu flow again, and the back of his uniform shredded. There was a high-pitched whine and Daven moved.

He wasn't punching to hurt, just enough to hit. In sparring, this was the control he had, and it showed far more mastery to be able to produce a full force punch, that stopped *just* short of being a hard hit and instead was a light touch, just enough to let the opponent know they had been touched.

There was no way that Bull could be this fast. This was a martial art that Daven perfected over several hundred training sessions in his private dojo.

His fists flying, his feet moving, Daven started hitting Bull all over his body. Just enough to let him know he was hit, not enough to hurt.

Bull stood still. He was outmatched. Daven was a superior fighter. Though he accepted it, that didn't mean that he wouldn't work on it. He moved his hands erratically, closing his eyes, readying his reflexes. At the first contact, Bull clasped his hands down on Daven's. "That's enough." He said, returning to ground. "You have shown me that you are superior." Bull bowed. "But, I have one thing to ask you..." He waited for a moment before speaking again. "Will you train me? You do have more experience in Hand-to-hand combat. It would be a great honor if you would teach me some techniques." He bowed his head, waiting for an answer.

"Thank you..." Bullene says, bowing again. He was relieved. He needed to become stronger. "I will see you in a while." Bull left the area, heading back to his squad.
