Hello.
So, all my life I have not had a clue about what I wanted to do with my life. I feel at 16 that kind of choice is too big, and now I'm 18 I still think its a huge descision to make. When I was at secondary school, we had a farm (our school had its own farm) which I spent a lot of my time with. Needles to say I have always loved animals big and small, although I'm a little shy of horses. I never wanted to work with animals though, the thought of having to put one down breaks my heart and I would no doubt be crying more then the owner. heart
Since Baileys died (my hare) and the vet let me down, I have decided that if an animal needs putting down then it should be shown dignatiy and the whole affair should be down in a clean manner, I am going to be the person that shows them dignatiy and does it cleanly. I am going back to the school I left two years ago to take an animal course. Then I will go to uni for 7 years and be a vet, so that no animal suffers like Baileys.
What do you want to be?

Aw, congratulations, Fairy =D
To be honest... I don't know. I've always wanted to do voice-over acting or maybe theatre productions.
I've also wanted to own a bookstore.

Thats an amazing goal. Some where in animal heaven he's most likely very proud of his owner.
I don't know what I'm going to be. My mom keeps telling me what to do. None of the things she says or wants suit me.
But I can't think of something that does.
Probably a janitor. As lame as that sounds.
I like to clean.

MATE. FEED.
I don't know. Something with art. Or literature. But my first choice would be to do something with art.
KILL. REPEAT.

Thanks Intro heart
On second thought, I have decided I may go There are two amazing zoos' near my house. They are the type of zoos which are all about the animals, I think they are world leaders in something or other. Anyways they provide housing for their staff and I really want to work and live at the zoo. They are so beautiful and it would mean I could work with a whole animal group and it would be so amazing. If I become a vet then it will be different animals each day, a clinic where animals come and go. If I work at the zoo I get to watch a group of animals grow. If anyone has ever heard of Monkey World they are world leaders in monkeys and stuff and they go all around the world rescuing animals (monkey) that are not being treated in the right way, then allow them to live a natural life at their park.
Intro - a janitors job is just as important as a doctors, things need to be clean, otherwise the world would go to pot.

Your welcome.
Oooh! Zoo work. Good stuff. I considered that when I was younger, actually. Its all and all not that bad. Sure, there are moments where you have to deal with stink and grime... Poo. But you get to feed lions and tigers and bears, oh my! biggrin
I know! Some one has to do it right? I just wish my mother would listen to that point of view. To her, Janitor is on the same level as unemployeed, homeless, drug users, retards, and other foul things she likes to discard.
V.V I don't care if I'd be poor. I'd get to wash windows, everyday, to my hearts content. With out being called strange or compulsive.

You should work in movies or tv Intro, I mean like getting the set ready, because things have to be in the right place... that way no one would notice that its your little thing because everyone would be the same like that. You can be poor and happy, you can be rich and sad... money is important but its no thee most important thing.
You know your mum is probably just trying to do her best for you, and wants the best from you, theres nothing wrong with that. At some point however you both will realise that your life is your life and no one elses. What I mean is when you have to cook, clean, tidy, wash clothes, pay bills and all the rest by yourself and become completely indepentant.... that will be a big thing, for both of you. In the mean time it is your life, follow your heart, if not your family then your friends will stand by you no matter what.
I think I am the same way minded. See my teachers wanted me to become all these things, because I could. If I set my mind to something then I'll pass because I would make sure of it. My trouble is I am not like that, I would be happy to settle down and get married have a couple of kids and work a 9 to 5 providing we could afford what we needed and live happily. I don't need a large amount of money or fancy cars. Other things make me happy and I am proud not to be like everyone else.
