Story thus far
It was said that the first creatures that when the first beings that inhabited the land died, they gave their power and knowledge to the younger races who in turn....when they began to die out passed it on. This knowledge and power however was not passed to all members of a race. This power was as volatile and unpredictable as time itself and as such, it sometimes disappeared for generations on end...only to reappear in another. As such...it was noted that after some time...the power passed only to the females of a race, and as such only they knew the secrets of the past...unless by some odd chance the power jumped to a few select males.
During these rare times when both male and female shared this power and knowledge that courts were formed. The females taking top positions and the males serving the females. Eventually among these Queens and their courts established laws to govern this society.
Despite the laws there were some among the Queens and sometimes even the Princes who sought to abuse these laws and as such the lands became corrupted until...no one but a select few remembered the old ways and the laws that had once bound them all. This corruption eventually weakened the clans until finally true Queens were few and far between.
In anguish the elder gods stripped these creatures of their power and destroyed them, in hopes of cleansing the land of the corruption that had resided there. What they didn't count on was the power gaining a mind of its own. The power had long known hosts and now in this disembodied state it sought out such beings.
This is where the ulaya come in, the power sought out a select few among them, to begin the Twilight legacy anew. Among those select few, the power choose a young femme to be the Queen of it all.
Sarassi however is far from leading material, and everyone knows it. Even her ever watchful "brother" Ambrosial. Even with her lack of experience the old seers have already proclaimed her as the future queen and like it or not...she must build her court and lead lest those who have been graced with the power be drawn away from her and their destiny.

Laws of the Clan 1. While the Queen has the final say in most matters, her decisions can be challenged by her court or inner circle, provided they have a valid reason to do so.
2. All males in within the clan are to treat all females with respect. The same applies for females treating the males with respect.
3. All prospective mates and lovers will have to be approved either by the Queen or by a member of her inner circle.
4. There is to be no fighting among members of the pack, if it is a petty dispute fine. Other than that no.
5. All members of the pack are required to be active with at least 1 complete rp per month. If you go on a hiatus or something tell us in advance.
Note: Be mindful that this pack will be rp intensive and you will have to earn your right to get certain positions. You must also realize that most of what's here can and will be up for discussion.

Positions within the Court/Pack
Queen - The unquestionable leader of the clan. She is the one who decides the clan's fate. Equivalent to an Alpha.
Consort - The queen's mate, this position is one that requires at least three complete rps between the queen and the ulaya vying for this title. Equivalent to an Alpha.
First Escort - The Queen and her Consort's first and foremost protector. This ulaya is also one of the few who can oppose the queen's decisions. Equivalent to a Beta.
Steward - The main advisor to the queen, this ulaya is the one who deals with most of the matters concerning mates and breeding. This position is one that requires at least three complete rps between the queen and the ulaya vying for this title. Equivalent to a Beta.
Master of the Guard - The leader of the guard in the queen's court, this ulaya is the top ranking military official only out ranked by the queen, her consort and the First Guard. Equivalent to a Beta.
Coven Ulaya - Friends and general members of the court. Equivalent to a Gamma.
Healers and Seers - The healers are the ones in charge of all the medicinal needs of the court while the seers are the ones blessed or cursed with the ability to tell the past and future. Equivalent to a Gamma.
Guards - The ones charged with protecting the court from all attacks. Equivalent to a Gamma.
Hunters - These ulaya are charged with gathering enough food for the court to eat. Equivalent to a Gamma.
Pupsitters - The ones charged with caring for and protecting the court's young. Equivalent to an Omega.
Pups - The young of the clan. The ones to carry on the legacy. Not required to remain the pack past adulthood. Equivalent to an Omega.
Servants/Rogues - Those are the beck and call of their higher ups, most servants and rogues are those who have no place in the higher ranks and/or merely seek the court for shelter and food. Equivalent to an Omega.

I'll have to read the story (it's intimidating. xD), but it looks good so far.
Are there any requirements as to who can join? Like, the Tehsmek Pack is all cat-colored/themed cats, another one of these interest threads is to be ruled over my a joyful Goddess, thus all Ulaya entering the pack must be happy (or somewhat...). Anything like that?

The only requirement (which I'll put up in a bit) is that the ulaya entering this pack must be willing to follow a not-so-physically strong female and her inner circle of quite possibly prissy males. <3
Cause...if I had to put something like happy or semi-happy ulaya entering the pack then that'd cut down on the drama factor and I'd have to boot Ambrosial out. XD;

No rp sample would be required for that kit, unless in the future that kit would be vying for a position in Sarassi's inner circle.
A complete RP consists of at least one full page of rp posts, and the ulaya involved have left the scene or such.
