I'm so very confused.
How do you turn straight? I thought you were born straight, the same way you can be born bi or gay. I didn't know it was possible to just turn straight....
Now, see, the reason i'm asking this in the first place is.....
Well, my friend (Paige) and I were chatting on IM yesterday, when out of the blue she says "....I'm straight now..." I'm thinking, 'wtf?'
After drooling over hot girls, and obsessing over Yuri characters, she's all of the sudden straight? It doesn't seem logical.
Also, after going through all the trouble of coming out to her friends are her parents (yikes)....I don't understand.
Not only is she apparently straight now, she's also turning into a homophobe...
And, basically, I want to know what the hell is going on....
So, my question for all of you is, well, two things...
Is it even possible to 'turn straight'?
Or....
Do you think she might just be in denial for some bizarre reason?

Persionly I don't think you can be "born" anything. I think your life is what you make of it so I dunno. But I guess in the same way people can realise that they are gay/bi they can realise that they are stright.

Before reading the 'turning into a homophobe,' part, I would have said that maybe she'd just wanted to try a little flavour and decided it wasn't for her. (Don't bother trying to fight me on it. Just my opinion for the moment.)
Now, though, I think that perhaps (for some reason) she is having trouble with who she is, or, as you put it, is in denial.
*Shrugs* I really can't help you, not that I can think of, anyway. But I'll keep listening.

I don't think that you can "turn straight" I think she might be in denial after recieving a speech from someone. I've seen it happen. Have you asked her why she's acting that way?

My friend Michelle did the same thing. She was Bi and she says she changed back because of her booyfriend (who looks like a girl I mught add). But then she saw me in a bakini and she said she was Bi again... I think it's just a phase.

Humm... I'm not sure.
Though I do know that some kids have done that when they don't feel comfertable with what they are.

Yeah it's a self hate thing. If they don't like what they are they deny it. You really should talk to this friend of your about what made her change.

Well... I dunno... sexuality is fluid if you ask me, go with the flow. Last night my girlfriend who is completely lesbian told me she thought Gerard Butler was sexy but she'd never sleep with him. He was the guy who played the Phantom in the movie The Phantom of the Opera I disagree, I think the man who played Raoul was sexier. And his kiss with Christine during "All I Ask of You" that was hot.
