 Meleena felt the breeze move through her ebony mane as her eyes drifted to the goddess towering above her. The beautiful way that she swayed among the clouds, humming a wonderfullysilent tune whilst guiding her unicorn companions... Meleena couldn't help but sing praises to the moon. On these lonely nights she had become Leena's constant guardian and companion and it wasn't until now that she realized just why her mother loved the goddess so...
Shaking her head back and forth, the unicorn new it was her own grave she was digging. She had run away. She ran away from the only family she had ever known. She didn't give much thought to if her family cared. Maybe Lore and Khide did, but Khide was growing more weary every day, she certainly couldn't make the journey... and it was sure that Lore would stay behind to care for the youngest. That was the way that Meleena wanted it. And her parents... she doubted that they even knew she was gone. Aryaani raised her, not their mother, just in the same way she raised Lore and Khide.
Meleena's eyes shifted, the crimson red that added pigment to her orbs shaking just slightly. It was a cool night, the air was heavy and yet fresh... and in this new meadow she was entering she was wondering if she might finally find some rest...

 Indivar didn't much care for sleep at least not at night, the sun he found more repressive and sometimes overly warm so he often caught several catnaps during the day leaving him much of the nighttime for wandering. Curious but also somewhat thoughtful his solitary evening walks were often times to think and admire the workings of creatures that often may skitter about beneath the gaze of many others.
Pausing near a small lake Indivar knelt to drink from the waters, watching himself long moments as he did. A small frog jumped from the waters causing not only a splash but also for the unicorn to start as well. Taking a step back he eyed the waters a moment looking for the little creature, only to have it jump at him again. Letting out a small playful whinney sound he knelt to push the small creature with his snout but then another sound from the meadow came to his ears.
His ears flickered slightly and for a brief moment he thought that perhaps he heard or was it perhaps felt another presence. Letting the frog be for now he turned and wandered some in the grassy meadow his eyes finally searching out another shape of a wanderer as he did. He paused uncertain if he should continue but then headed along anyways walking toward the figure in the distance (Meleena).

Meleena's head was almost literally in the clouds, her eyes still drifting up to the sky when she heard the splash in the nearby water source. At first she was scared that it may have been someone looking for her, but finally rationality found it's hold, forcing her forward. Her hooves moved in a slow creep when she spotted the male. She found herself staring in his direction. He was so much different than what she was use to.. his pale colors.. were so much different than her dark ones, it caused her to be drawn to him...
Meleena lost herself in thought, completely unaware that he was moving in her direction until he was right in her face. She whinnied slightly, taking a few steps back out of surprise. "Don't scare me like that!" Her front hooves reared up a little though she made sure she didn't come close enough to hurt him. Calming down slightly, her red eyes moved up to look over him. "Who are you?" She asked a little more quietly, a leery disposition in her eyes.

As Indivar moved forward he knew why it was so hard to see the other in the dark, she was dark. If it had not been for the moonlight he might have missed her completely. Moving at a slow cant he moved up close to her curiously. At her reaction he make a soft snuffling sound of amusement and threw his head slightly sending his mane flowing from one side to the other. Quite clearly smiling he tilted his head to watch her a moment, at her question he paused as if considering how to answer.
"Well, mostly I call myself Indivar, and yourself?" Glancing around he looked for a good spot to settle at, in the dark it might be easier to rest somewhere...or he supposed he could show her the lake if she was thirsty but he wasn't sure if the frog would behave.

Catching his chuckle caused Meleena to raise a brow in his direction, "Amused with yourself for scaring me?" The ends of her lips turned into a smirk as she shook her mane out. She may have been a quiet sort, but she had always had a bit of her mother's fire, perhaps the only one of Durmathasiah's children to receive it. It was both her greatest attribute and the bane of her existence. It had become the reason that she couldn't stand the stuffy home life she had become accustomed to. Living the life that her mother created but wouldn't take responsibility for, everything had been placed on her shoulders after her older sister left to have her own life.
The male seemed amusing himself, though rather that was in good favor or not she couldn't tell yet. Though still... it couldn't be that much worse than staying at home doing nothing, could it? "It's a pleasure to meet you Indivar, I'm Meleena." Even for her excellent educate, Meleena was the less likely to speak as politely as her two younger siblings. Still, even in her rebellion she had obtained some good manners. "Where are you from?" She asked, trying to figure out something to say. She couldn't let this conversation rot after all... he was the first other Star she ahd seen since she left.

Indivar raised a brow as well almost mirroring Meleena as she did the same, before a warm smile came to his face. "I might just be more amused in general," she seemed to be a more serious sort he realized and considered what that would mean for him and how he should handle it. He after all didn't want to upset the dark star he had met wandering.
"Meleena..." he paused over the name as if considering it before speaking, "a rather lovely name for an interesting meeting. It is a pleasure."
With another soft whinny he spoke again answering her question, "I'm generally from several places, I haven't a herd to settle with yet so I tend to wander. Which by it's own nature can be somewhat highly entertaining as well as adventurous." Looking over the area a moment he attempted to remember if he knew anyone in the area and then realized that he may actually be lost, which he decided wasn't a horrible state to be in after all if you are lost that just means you have found someplace new.
"And what has brought you out here this eve? Myself I came for a drink of water and quite unexpectedly not only found a frog in my drink but then another wandering night star." He tossed his head slightly indicating the nearby lake he had gotten his drink out of sometime earlier.

Letting a breath of the cool air refresh her, her eyes wandered in his direction. Charming, but he seemed to be a little stagnant in trying to be such. She had lived in mediocre politeness her whole life, she much preferred whomever she met to be themselves, regardless of the hooves they might step on. "You don't have to be so fake." She stated in a rather blunt nature. "I mean no offense... but I'm tired of curt smiles and nods, and all the fake pretenses that come with them.. I'd much rather find a rude Star that would give me a full sense of their bad behavior." Her eyes moved up and she smiled a him, it was a slightly wry gesture, but she hadn't pretended at all.
"Hmm..." Her eyes now wandered away from him. What beauty would it be to be allowed to travel whenever you wanted? To have the freedom she had always desired.. Lowering her snout she only slightly smiled, "You're a lucky Star then... I've longed for the ability to do that my whole life... and perhaps that's why I'm out here now.. to prove to myself that I don't need the cage I grew up in.. to make my own way, finally." She chuckled slightly, "I've been an adult for some time... and yet I've been under the weight of my parents for so long I sometimes still feel like a foal.. it doesn't seem fair sometimes." She shook her head side to side, her mane shifting under the motion.
"A frog you say?" Her light hearted grin returned to her face. "Well, I'm sure it was just as surprised to see you!"

Throwing his mane slightly Indivar made a rather dramatic gasp, "fake, I would never." Snuffling playfully he nudged her lightly with his snout, "it is a pretty name." He then leaned down and eyed the water suspiciously below them, "as for freedom, well I take it and leave it though moving a lot means I don't have time to settle down with friends and sometimes." He paused and considered his next words, "it's nice to have someone other then the frogs to talk to."
Flickering his tail somewhat playfully he lowered his head down to the pond looking across over the surface, "and speaking of frogs there is the culprit from earlier right over there. Careful now he is a rather crafty critter all things considered." A bit of his pale blue mane flopped into his face and he huffed slightly to blow it out of his eyes after he did he glanced from side to side suspiciously, "I think the frog is making his move he went into hiding while I wasn't watching." Prancing back a few steps playfully he grinned slightly looking over at Meleena.

 Isabell lied on dry land, gazing up at the stars, with her tail neatly wound about half way. She usually liked to watch when nothing else was happening, and especially since her days underwater were lonely. Straying too far from home Isabell ended up lost, though no one would come looking for her. Her family always split apart, and would wonder the seas, lakes and rivers for days, even years, before coming home.
Her mind got lost in thought, as she listened to the waves and stared into the sky. She almost didn't hear the hooves upon the ground. Finding herself just sitting there, she watched and waited to see what was to come. Seeing just barely, a good distance away were two figures. One a dark toned, the other a light colored unicorn. Most of her kind would race back into the waters, and dive deep below. But she was curious and wanted to see the two.
Dipping her tail lightly into the shallow water, she remembered there was a time limit as to how long she could stay on land. Isabell stretched her wings, and threw her head back. A light breeze blew on through, carrying the scent of sweet smelling flowers. Taking in a breath of fresh air, she looked to the skies once more before heading back into the shallow parts of the water, with a loud splash.

 A wave errupted under the pool of water. It wasn't long until a pair of amethyst colored eyes drifted above the surface of the lake, staring off at the two figures that were crowding near it. It wasn't often that his eyes met a pair of land dwelling Stars in this area, and two unicorn at that. It was at that moment that Jadon heard the splash and his eyes swiveled over, surprised yet again to notice a mare of the same species he was. "Hello Miss." He offered a greeting.Meleena smirked a little at his playful banner, chuckling clear until he nudged her. It was a soft gesture, but a strange one at that, she had never had a male do something like that before, she wasn't quite sure how to react. "At least you have the freedom to decide that.." She stated quietly, shaking her head from side to side. "I don't even get that. I suppose I like being close to my family... but I'm an adult, I should have the ability to choose what I want for myself, shouldn't I?" She frowned as her voice took on a more serious tone. "Sometimes... I wish I had my solace. Instead, I have my siblings and the rest of the clan that is always in my business... I guess.. in a way... I envy you.." It took a lot for her to admit something like that, still it was true.. not that she envied him in a bad way, she knew everything had it's ups and downs.
At the mention of the frog again, Meleena couldn't help but smile as she neared closer to the green clad creature. "I don't know.. he doesn't seem that bad, maybe he just has it out for you." She giggled when watching the frog, her eyes not noticing him come closer to her. Suddenly she felt herself blush a little, prancing back a step though she stayed close to him. "You never know exactly with a crafty little devil like that I suppose.."

Indivar let out a playful snuffle at Meleena with another smile before looking back quickly to the lake, eying the waters he got still for a long moment. "Don't worry! I'll protect you from the frog!" He stamped his hoof theatrically with a soft whinny of laughter. "As for family, it's good to have others to stay with you. But if your last herd was so stifling it might be best to find something more fitting to you now as an adult...I'm guessing that is what you are trying now with your wandering." With a pale wink of his eye he pranced back a couple of feet his eyes going to the water a moment as if contemplating running through the shoreline. Before he let off though his ears pricked up and swiveled.
"I believe I just heard a much bigger splash then a frog's, but it was down the stream some more." Tilting his head to the side Indivar peeked around the bend of the stream that lead from the lake, pausing once as he did to look at Meleena with overly wide and dramatic eyes. He then finally leaned the rest of the way; squinting some a moment he made out a dark shape down the stream a ways.
Standing back upright he blinked slightly from the squinting and then gave his mane a slight shaking out again, "I believe we may have some sort of company further down that stream, something much better and none frog like. Would you like to investigate with me?" He grinned faintly as he asked his eyes sparkling with adventure and mischief.

Isabell's aquamarine eyes wandered over to the new company. "Hello," she smiled kindly. Shocked to see more than just unicorns around, she stared at him for a moment. "Sorry," Isabell blushed turning away slightly. "I'm not used to seeing many novas around. I'm Isabell or Is," as she spoke she noticed the other two making their way down. Her curiousity grew even more, as she began to wonder how they all ended up here. Each of their stories, she'd love to hear them all. That's how she was, just someone who would listen.
Turning back to him, she couldn't help but to stare. The thing that caught her eyes about him, were his eyes. The color of amethyst, not many male novas had such captivating eyes. Again she blushed but this time didn't care much. "I must seem weird to you," she gave a soft laugh, "So what's your name?"

Seeing him tromp after the frog she couldn't help but laugh. She liked his sense of humor, it had been a long time since she had met anyone as strange as she could be. And yet, the laughter had to die at some point, "Now..." She mumbled softly, her hoove kicking at the ground. "You talk as though I just became an adult... I might seem young... but I'm not.." She let out a soft sigh. "And yes, that is what I'm trying.. I suppose. I need to get out and live my own life at some point." Her eyes wandered off to the sky as she thought to herself, enjoying the moonlight streaming down against her dark purple fur.
Hearing the splash as well, her ears flicked as she looked off in the direction it came from. "Hm, I don't suppose an adventure would hurt." She was becoming a bit curious herself as to what it might be.
Jadon instantly noticed the female staring at him. The weight of her eyes had little effect as he wasn't quite sure how he should react to it. He wasn't use to seeing other Novas around himself, was this how they all acted? "It's fine." He stated with as much politeness as he could muster. His voice was calm as he swam a little closer to her, "My name is Jadon, it's nice to meet you Is, if you don't mind me calling you that." Mind? Of course she didn't, she said he could call her that after all! Still, he wasn't quite sure how he should act in public, and meeting a strange female of his own species right off the bat hadn't exactly helped that. "So where are you from?"

Dashing down the river a bit he paused at the edge of the waters peering over into them. There were definitely shapes in the edge of the water large shapes, tilting his head he looked over at Meleena. "I believe we have some company for sure," raising a brow curiously he peered into the waters again.
"I wonder what sort of company..."
He grinned slightly to her, "and life is very much worth living." Leaning slightly he used his hoof to disrupt the top of the river over where he saw the two shapes below in the waters.

"Likewise. Well, I'm from the nothern seas," Isabell simply answered. She glanced up over at the other two figures, and noticed the ripples disrupting the surface of the water. "Hmmm," she thought for a moment then brought her attention back to Jadon, "So where are you from if you don't mind me asking?"
Is glanced a few more times to the surface, then finally made up her mind. "You up for more company? I believe there's a couple of curious unicorn's waiting," she stated with a casual tone, not knowing if he had noticed or not already.
