Ok i thought i'd make a thread about this..if its alright with you guys.
I seem to be getting more and more of those evil glares. You know the one people give you when their uncomfortable. One of my librarians seemed to be just fine around my white friend but when I came up she got nervous. gonk It seems to me that i'm facing racism more and more each day. thats wrong!im not black im white but what does skin color have to do wit anything?it makes no since!
you know, it really doesn't. sometimes, though, people just react to other people that way. i think that's what some Black people get so angry about - it's not something you really understand until you've dealt with it, and not just once or twice, but every day, for nearly all your life. most other races (in this country) haven't, with the recent exception of Middle Eastern descendants/families, for obvious reasons.
