How to play:
-One person starts by establishing a set number of lines everyone must write.
-Then, that person writes the first couple of lines of the poem/story. However, they don't let everyone see all of the lines they wrote, instead, they only post the last line.
-From that line, the next person has to write the next section of the poem/story.
-That person posts only the last line of what they come up with.
-Then, another person writes the third section.
-And this continues.
-After two-three weeks, we'll collect all of the lines that weren't posted; and start a new round.
So for example:
I write four lines of poetry, but don't share the poem except for the last line.
Using that last line as inspiration, one of you would write another four lines. And then you would only post the last line of what you wrote.
The idea is that you aren't positive what the poem is about, but people keep on writing more and more. At the end everyone reveals their entire four lines and you piece all the parts together to make a full poem. Its fun because despite the fact no one has been able to read everyone's parts in full there are still a lot of the same themes and metaphors. We'd then post the completed poem, and then start the game all over again.
Rules:
-You can only post once for each round.
-You can only post the last line of what you wrote.
-It has to be your own work.
-You can't PM the previous people to ask what their other lines were.
-Keep it PG-13.
-Have fun! biggrin
-Once you've posted, please send your un-posted lines to dark_angel_32189. Title the PM "Exquisite Corpose".
The prizes:
-Everyone who posts a line will receive 500 gaia gold.
-Everyone who posts will also be entered into a monthly raffle for a random prize. smile

Here's the story/poem/whatever you wanna call it. xd
There once was a chicken
Who had pink and yellow spots.
She owned a store
A Music Shop.
Examining each of the musical things
Wondering if it chimes or rings.
With the bell's music
She swayed about, bending and twisting.
He plucked the first and final string, it breaking.
The song eternally silent...
The girl eternally peaceful...
It filled the air with melancholy harmony.
The song continued through the night
Bringing hope to all who heard it.

Apparently our chicken is undecided about its gender. lol
I'll get the prizes out. Afterwards we'll start a new round. (The raffle will be done on April 1, so it will include the new round as well).
Edit: Alright, for the next round, I'm going to let one you start it. All you have to do is set a number for how many lines each person has to write (I'd say no more than 4 lines though). And also state which of the lines everyone has to post.
Once you've posted the line(s) you're suppose to post, please PM me the un-posted lines. This way we won't have to wait on anyone when we've finished. smile
