Ok, so i know some of you might not agree that he's "classic rock" and i don't exactly think he is either, but he is classic.
Anyways, what do you think of him?

I love Dylan. AOL said he was the #1 songwriter and Rolling Stone magazine said "Like a Rolling Stone" was the best rock song ever... I don't agree with that stuff but I'm just pointing it out.

Great Shaboozi I love Dylan. AOL said he was the #1 songwriter and Rolling Stone magazine said "Like a Rolling Stone" was the best rock song ever... I don't agree with that stuff but I'm just pointing it out. Yeah, another magazine said that " like a rolling stone " is Dylans best song, which i dont agree with at all. Its probably just the most popular, alot of people re-did it.

I love Bob Dylan! I believe that he is the greatest American rock artist. He has deeply meaningful lyrics and interesting musical arrangements. Sure he doesn't have the greatest voice but I think that only adds to his alure, I mean when someone is that talented as a musician and a poet should it matter what his voice sounds like? My favourite Dylan album's are Blonde on Blonde and The Basement Tapes. I agree that "Like a Rolling Stone" was an amazing song. It was his first song performed electric, which that alone is something to love. Although it is immensely popular I don't think that should be a reason to condemn it (I always thought it was a good thing for an artist to be recognized and for people to explore great music). My favourite Dylan song is however "Lay Lady Lady" which is closely tied to "Fourth Time Around".

I read one of the biographies on him. It made me want to buy all of his CD's because I know what the inside meaning of all the songs were... but I have no money! crying All of his songs are great, his way of thinking was so deep and so weird that anyone can like it a little, maybe. I like "MR. Tamborine Man" because it was based on someone in his band... I think I read the biography a long time ago so I don't remember everything! xP
