A lot of people have claimed to summon gods, but there is no how to manual so to speak, or a list. This thread is made to compile what every one knows about the invocation and evocation of the gods.
Personally, I've only summoned the Sumerian gods enki and ziku.
Enki was very helpful, while ziku more are less watched me sleep and basically said "your a selfish p***k".
In terms of method of summoning, I used the Simonomicon spell book to summon ziku, there was a good thread on the guild a while back. As for enki, the somewhat standard, have sigil, candle, incense, and start calling.
I did both with out a circle, which is kind of a mistake.
I hope this thread eventually grows into a list of experiences and methods for school of magick that is both miraculous and rather un talked about at least in terms of methods.

Assuming a godform is one way to do it. I've read about looking at the various mythological myths and then reenacting them in a ritual setting in order to call a god and assume their form for whatever purpose.

You're reenacting their trials and triumphs in praise in order to invoke them. If anything I'd consider it flattering that someone knows about my life enough to reenact great moments of it in order to gain my favor.

If anything I'd consider it flattering that someone knows about my life enough to reenact great moments of it in order to gain my favor. OH I thought you meat evoking and taking over there form. Like controlling there form by assuming themselves.
