~History of Magic~
Professor Binns teaches this class.This class teaches students about the history of witches, wizards, magical creatures, and events in the magical world. This class is taught in a first-floor classroom. The textbook is A History of Magic. For homework, the students often have to write long essays. The OWL has a theory part to the test.

Jonathan strolled inside from the hall and smiled warmly at the few students who had arrived early for class. "Good morning." he exclaimed merrily to a group of students nearby. They too greeted him merrily and he began to speak to them. "Yeah I know what you mean. I didn't understand that portion too well."

"What do you mean Hana? I'm only socializing amongst the class." he gave her a grin that was little too obvious and picked up his things to sit beside Hana, "Where shall we sit today?" he said enthusiastically.

Jonathan leaned close to her and said with a tone of utter disgust, "I know..Doesn't it make you absolutely sick. And these filthy little rodents dare to call the proud and honorably death eaters monsters...Urchins..If only I could amplify the killing curse to kill them all in one giant blast.."

She leaned in closer to him, whispering quieter "Ugh, I know. It makes me sick. Luckily this Dark Lord will completely obliterate them. They stink up this place." she sighed.

He blushed a bit but carried on, "I'm not as concerned about that...I mean the he who must not be named was not exactly handing out pay raises half the time..It's his abilities I worry about. Is he worthy? And even more so..what is he after exactly? Why is he doing this...I need to know why..It makes all the difference."
