Hogwarts Kitchen
A painting of a giant bowl of fruit hides the entrance to the Hogwarts kitchens; to enter, tickle the huge green pear, which will squirm, chuckle, and suddenly turn into a large green door handle.
Inside the kitchens are atleast a hundred house elves who cook for the students and clean up after them unseen. Also inside are 4 long tables that are right beneath the tables of the great hall.

Etomer knew the path down to the kitchens well, due to her habit of missing meals. This was the first time she was headed there with company. Company that wasn't Soot. It was always surprising when the pear laughed, but soon the knob was turned and she was in the midst of bustling house elves and the lingering smell of dinner's desert.

Zurie took a deep breath "Ohhhh so good" She smiled and her stomach growled. "I wonder what they can make us" She looked around at all the elves. "Hopefully they wont get mad at us" Zurie giggled.

"They're usually alright with it," Ety mumbled and raised a hand slightly to get one of the busy elf's attention. Successfully, one of the kitchen staff came over looking expectant.
"I missed dinner....again. So the usual for me please, Griggle." Said elf nodded and looked toward Zurie for her order.

"Umm just something small..like a snack i guess. Is there any left over dessert? That was yummy" Zurie smiled and rubbed her stomach again.

With a snap of his fingers the elf had materialized their respective orders and left them levitating in the air. In a flash, Griggle had vanished back into the hustle and bustle, leaving their plates floating there.
Casting and Impervious charm on her plate of potatoes and eggs, Ety slipped it into her bag. " It's acts like plastic wrap..." she muttered awkwardly.

"Oh i never knew that" Zurie smiled to the girl as she grabbed her plate and Began eating it. "mmm this is good" She said while taking another bite.

"I found quite a few spells to help with late night snack runs, and thankfully the elfs that clean our common don't mind picking up the dishes. From what I've observed they enjoy having more to clean." Etomer shifted from foot to foot glancing around. If they were to late getting back would run an forty percent chance of getting caught and a following detention. She would be stuck doing some inane punishment instead of studying or finding a way to get into the restricted section.
"We should head back soon, before the rounds start."

"Oh yes of course" Zurie mumbled with a mouth full of food. She continued eating as they walked out of the kitchen. She never realized how hungry she really was.
