I was fishing one day with headphones on and I noticed very strange, very low pitched noises whenever a fish hit my line. I don't know that much about them yet but I think that they might be helpful in identifying fish before they are caught. Or the noise is always the same for all the fish and this post is just a big waste of time. V_V

Any information that anyone has about these mysterious sounds would be greatly appreciated.

i hear it two... but the hum for say a Black Bubble is the same as a Yamabuki Koi (as far as i can tell) so mayby its just the sound of your rod twitching ( No pun intended ). So maybe you should look into it.

i dont fish with sound but it doesnt help me much because i am deaf in my right ear but i think that deaf people maybe able to use this to identify the type of fish if it is so
