Ravenclaw Common Room
Welcome intellectual minds of Ravenclaw!! Here is your common room, located in the west tower of hogwarts. We hope that in this room you'll be able to learn from one another and further your mind in all aspects of life. So rejoice in being choosen to be in the wise house of Ravenclaw!! *If Any Ravenclaws have any idea on how to fix up the Ravenclaw Common Room thread then just suggest it in the suggestion thread! ^-^ But you must be in this house to do so.

Zurie sat in the library focusing on her homework for History of magic. She took a deep breath and stretched,her eyes caught a glimpse of the clock and she sighed. It was time for her to head back to the common room. She stood up and packed her bag then headed out the door and up the stairs. She quietly said the password at the portrait hole and it opened up. She Shivered,it seemed a little cold in the room,so she picked the nearest chair to the fire. It still didnt seem close enough,so zurie pulled the chair directly in front of the fire and nuzzled into the chair quietly. She pulled out her book and took a deep breath,her eyes began to close,and she pushed them back open,she couldnt fall asleep yet..she had tests to study for.

After Etomer had finished her self assigned research in the library it was back to to her house to exchange her cash of literature with those she required for todays homework. The door's question was barely noted before she answered and nearly tripped upon entering.
"Oh right, dinner. Blast it." Sighing to herself, she headed for her dormitory. She really had to start remember to fit in food during her excursions into the library. Maybe she could catch something from the kitchens. I have been practicing my Dissillusionment Charms after all.
It was only when she descended the stairs sans all her heavy books weighing down her satchel, did she notice the only other soul in the common room, nearly asleep face first in a book. Etomer stopped and debated with herself. Socializing was on her list of things to do this year, and there was only one of them. Maybe she could just offer a greeting or something. What's the harm? Dragging her feet she approached the fire. " Uh...you'll get drool on the binding if you keep at it..." her voice mumbled, rough from it's typical disuse. Nice, she thought sarcastically to herself.

Zuries eyes flew open "Dear Lord" She looked around and saw a girl standing by her chair,it must have been her who had woken zurie "Thank You" She laughed embarrased "No need to ruin a perfectly good book,with my disgusting old slobber." She closed the book and stretched. "My Name is Zurie" She smiled to the girl while holding her hand out.

Etomer blinked at Zurie from behind her scruffy black bangs, before catching on to the introduction. "Oh!" she started, "I'm Etomer, Lortnoc." Though hesitant, she took the offered hand, and shook it awkwardly. "Uh nice to meet you Zurie." This wasn't so difficult. Etomer had yet to spill something or accidently offended her house mate which was great progress with her track record. Releasing the other girls hand quickly she pressed her luck with a conversation. "What are you reading?"

Zurie smiled "A History of Magic" She held the book out and looked at the cover. "I was working on homework...you can see how well that went" She laughed "I guess thats what i get for not studying earlier" She scratched her head and smiled as she ruffled out her hair. "Where were you off to?" She looked towards the door and back to the girl.

A gruff chuckle escaped her before she realized. Startled for a second, Ety fidgeted with her empty satchel before answering. " I'm supposed to be doing my own homework, " brown eyes averted to the fireplace mantle and clock, "but I got distracted by a theory on the properties of Kelpie bone and wound up missing dinner. So I was going to try the kitchens for sustenance." As an after thought she blurted, "Want to join?"

Zurie smiled as the girl chuckled..it seemed to surprise her. "Books are way to interesting" Zurie joked "Musnt get too sucked in" She laughed "Sure,we can see what we can come up with, food does sound very enticing" She set her hand on her stomach and rubbed it before looking back up and smiling.

" My sentiments exactly." Ety smiled, while patting her bag. " It's late so we might break curfew, how's your charm work?" She asked on her way to the exit. Moving her wand to it's place in her left sleeve, the brunette looked back and waited for Zurie.

Catclaw jumped up out of her chair as soon as Zurie started passing. "Would you like to buy some Wake-Up Moring coffe? Only 3 shrilings for 3...," Catclaw asked looking hopfully at them both.

Zurie walked into the common room and set her plate down on the table "That was really really good" she smiled, then sat down. "By the way Etomer, thanks for waking me up earlier" She laughed "I Hate it when i fall asleep on my books" She chuckled embarrassingly, and tucked back into the chair, crossing her legs.

"Oh, your welcome. Thanks for joining my excersion to the kitchens. It was nice to have company for a change." Half-way behind the other girl, Ety heard someone talking, but when she looked, her over long bangs obscured her vision. " Zurie, did you hear someone?" Ety asked while she took out her wand for a quick severing charm on her hair.
