As you may have seen in the shop, me and White Oblivion's Spicae, Lunatéa and Sterlling just had three pups. :3 While we decided to keep two of them ourselves, the third we thought we should give to someone who deserves her! :3
Because Luna and Sterlling are an RP couple, what would be a better idea than to hold a small RP contest to give the pup away!
The one we're giving away is this little female here:
 Just darling, isn't she?
Now, what you have to do, is to write follow-up to this prompt, written by White! <3 Prompt It's early evening, the sun has yet to set and all members of the small familly of strange, nocturnal Spicae are still sleeping soundly. All members? No, a small girl twitches her ears and wakes up slowly into the day that is already leaving. Naturally curious, as a pup, she goes off to explore and gets lost out in the woods by herself. Hearing rustling up ahead, she peeks through the bushes and sees a stranger gladier. Because the pup is still very young, she has never seen gladiers appart her parents, sister and brother. Does she introduce herself and talk/play with the other, or does she asks for directions home? Does she even approach/greet the stranger at all? Why or why not? This contest will close on August 28th. Good luck to all of you who participate!

I'm just going to make up my own little form, is that ok? And do you mind the length? I can always try to edit some of it down if it's too long.
user ; noxilicious name ; Shasta prompt ; It's early evening, the sun has yet to set and all members of the small family of strange, nocturnal Spicae are still sleeping soundly.
Because the pup is still very young, she has never seen gladiers apart her parents, sister and brother. Does she introduce herself and talk/play with the other, or does she asks for directions home? Does she even approach/greet the stranger at all? Why or why not?
prompt response ; It was strangely quiet. The sun beginning its careful descent towards the horizon, its penetrating rays marred by a sheath of evening clouds. There was something about twilight that always seemed unreal. As if the world was free of its inhabitants, and it could take a sigh of relief. This strange time somewhere between the falling asleep of the day dwellers and the waking up of the nocturnals. Anyone awake would be truly alone.
Running. Running. Can't catch her breath. Being chased. Shadows. Screaming. Horrible screaming. And then cold laughter. Cruel.
Shasta whimpered softly in her sleep, her large eyes opening to watery tears. Every night for a while her subconscious had been plagued by this nightmare. Always the same thing. Always running, always scared. But never did she find out what she was running from. Nor did she ever care to learn. She didn't want to tell Luna and Sterlling. The way she saw it was that they had enough on their hands without listening to their youngest daughter complain about unreality.
But now that she was awake, Shasta didn't know what to do. Her grey flecked paws twitched with excitement as she realized she was alone. No parents to tell her what to do. No siblings insisting on ruining her fun. And she was determined to make the most of it. The young Gladier crept away from her resting family, her heart fluttering anxiously in her chest. What if one of them woke up? What if they questioned where she was going? But before she knew it, she was enveloped by low lying tree branches and stout bushes. Free. She was really free! But what was she going to do.
Shasta wandered for quite some time, the sun had reached the horizon and was showering the earth its fiery good bye. Her midnight fur carried strange shadows of orange and yellow, and the dark red of her ears was set ablaze. She was so excited with her appearance that she never saw where she was going. Never noticed when the familiarities of her forest home were distorted by eerie shadows and ghostly whistles of the wind through the trees. And when it finally came to her attention, she was hopelessly lost. She started to run, her normally calm features disfigured by terror.
And that was when she saw him.
He seemed to be an very old Gladier. Far more ancient than her parents, or anyone she had ever seen in her short life. He sat on a grassy hillside that rose out of the center of the forest. It was free of trees and the grasses shone silver in the moonlight. Moonlight. Shasta felt another flicker of fear run through her. Her parents would be waking soon. Without her. But her focus once again drifted towards the strange Gladier. His eyes were closed, his broad face tilted ever so slightly up towards the moon. He had silvery blue fur but it was flecked with aged grey around his muzzle.
“Why are you here?” His soft voice was weathered and wise, instantly calmly Shasta's frayed nerves. She took a slow breath, her eyes closing for a moment. And then they flew open at what he had said. She hadn’t made a sound and she was surprised he knew she was there.
“I got lost.” It was one thing to know it in her head, but quite another to say it aloud. As she spoke her lower lip quivered and although she tried to cover it, her voice trembled. The strange Gladier opened his eyes, and Shasta saw the milky film that covered them. “Are you blind?” She blurted before she had a chance to think. She quieted when she realized her ignorance.
“Lost? Or have you simply wandered?” His gentle voice questioned her, and Shasta felt a soft shiver run down her spine. “And yes. Although "blind" tends to mark one out as different.” He looked away from the midnight Gladier pup, his face still tilted up towards the moon.
“Why do watch the moon? You can’t see it.” Her voice was more questioning now, and she slowly walked towards him. “You do not need to see something to understand it’s beauty. The moon sings to me. Songs of loneliness. A plague we all share at some time in our mortal lives.” Shasta watched the old Gladier for several moments, the only movement coming from the slight breeze that caressed his shoulders lovingly. but the icyness of it chilled Shasta and she let out a barely audible shiver. When she stopped, she realized the Gladier was staring at her again, his absent eyes somehow taking apart her soul. “You must leave now. You parents fear for you. Follow the moon. She will guide you back to your family. Be well, little one.”
Shasta nodded, murmuring her thanks as she slowly backed out of the clearing, turning into the silvery light. She looked back, only once, but the old Gladier had gone. In his place, grew a single lily. Its silvery blossom’s reaching towards the moon.

OKAY I ADDED MORE. :3
Creating a form too~ And my entry is really weird. *shot*
Username: o-Kikumaru-o Gladier Name: Yuki Respsonse: Looking out to a hazy mixture of orange and red, Yuki slowly got up on her unsteady legs and stepped forward cautiously. She wobbled a little, but managed not to fall down. Determined to beat her siblings by learning how to walk first, she took a couple more steps just to assure herself that she could do it.
Twisting her head back to look at her sleeping family, she decided that she would go off to explore a little, confident that she would be back before her family found out. She edged her way between though bushes plants, just wandering around to see the world for herself.
All of a sudden, Yuki heard a crunching noise. She curiously hid under a bush to see what was going on, and she was not prepared for the sight before her eyes.
A large, white gladier was in the clearing, red specks across his muzzle. He seemed to be tearing ravenlously into a pile of blood smeared fur. Yuki shrank back into the bushes, unable to take her eyes away from the unmoving bundle on the ground. As she backed away, she stepped onto a twig, snapping it. The sound seemed to vibrate all around the clearing, and the male turned his head around to face her.
Scared out of her wits, Yuki turned and ran, away from that terrible sight, blindly through thorns. By the time she had relocated her family, her fur was torn in several places and she was panting heavily. She never wanted to see something like that ever again, and she would be haunted by its memory forever.
She sat back down, her legs exhausted, and groomed her fur, trying to put it out of her mind. At last, sleep came as the sun completely set, and when her parents woke up, they wondered about the scratches on her face. But they never received an answer, for Yuki never told them what had happened.
Many days later, Yuki arose again when the moonlight shined bright above her head, plagued by a feeling that she couldn't quite describe. Feeling a little confused, she started walking unconciously to the path she went on before. As she neared the clearing, she suddenly remembered where she was and flinched, about to turn back. But curiosity got the better of her, and she cautiously walked into the center where she had seen the white gladier. "Hello? Is anyone there?" she asked, half hoping that someone would answer.
"I knew you would come, little one," said a voice from behind. Yuki whirled around, staring into the dark, black eyes of the gladier she had seen earlier. "Who are you?" she asked aggresively, trying to prove she wasn't afraid. "You've got spirit," he mused to himself. "Very well, if you wish to know that badly, then I will tell you. I am Kotirah, the god of vengenance." He stared blankly past Yuki's shoulder for a moment, blinked, and then focused his attention on her again. "And who are you?"
"My name's Yuki," she replied, eyes narrowing into slits at the mention of gods. "And I don't believe you. There are no gods."
"Hmph. Insolent child. Suffer my wrath," he suddenly hissed, claws unsheathed. He murmured strange exotic words under his breath, and Yuki caught words she knew, like "forever" and "silent". She felt immobile, unable to move a single bit of her body. But still she stared defiantly at her impending doom.
As a sudden explosion filled the clearing, Kotirah disappeared, leaving nothing but a pile of white dust on the forest ground. Yuki, blinking in confusion, walked up to the dust, and took a quick look. Hmph, nothing to worry about, she thought to herself as she trotted back to her family. Remembering to greet her parents, she opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. She tried again and again, but still nothing. She pawed at the ground in frustration, unable to make any noise at all. To this day, she has not spoken a single word. But perhaps one day someone will save her from her terrible fate.

((I hope its okay for me to post this.))
username: wolfpuppies pup's name: Kirai Promt: It's early evening, the sun has yet to set and all members of the small family of strange, nocturnal Spicae are still sleeping soundly.
Because the pup is still very young, she has never seen gladiers apart her parents, sister and brother. Does she introduce herself and talk/play with the other, or does she asks for directions home? Does she even approach/greet the stranger at all? Why or why not?
prompt response: Kirai watched as the sky changed colors, not quite giving in to darkness. She sighed and turned back to where her family was. 'Where'd they go?' She thought when she didn't see them. A bush rustled nearby making Kirai jump. A small mouse crept out of the bush and scuttled into its burrow. 'Just a mouse.' She calmed down. 'I might as well explore a bit and then head home.'
Kirai followed the river until she saw a shadow behind a boulder. She froze, afraid of what might be behind the boulder. Calming herself, Kirai walked cautiously over to the boulder and peered around the corner. "It's only a bush." She smiled thinking of her fear of the measly shrub. Kirai continued her walk and thought of the stories she could tell her brother.
Pausing, Kirai looked at the fading sun and looked at the stars beginning to appear. 'I should head home now.' She remembered the stories her parents told her about the nocturnal creatures. 'Maybe they just tell me them to scare me.' She continued thinking as she unconsciously walked into the forest.
"Oof!" She said tripping over something lying in her path. "What was that for?!" She shouted, whirling around.
"I-I'm sorry." A small gladier said sitting up. "I-I was just resting, I-I didn't mean to t-trip you."
"No, I'm sorry. I should have been paying attention and I shouldn't have shouted." Kirai said kindly. "Where's your family?" This gladier was a bit younger than her so he shouldn't have been away from his family.
"I-I don't have one." The gladier said looking at the ground, shuffling his paws. "M-My name's Chista." The pup looked back up at Kirai.
"I'm Kirai." She smiled. "Would you like to come home with me? I'm sure my family would love to have you with us."
"S-Sure." Chista smiled before standing up.
Kirai smiled back at the young gladier and began walking home. "You don't have to answer, but what happened to your family?" She looked at Chista.
"They passed away." Chista's ears went back as he spoke.
"I'm so sorry." Kirai said leaning comfortingly on the pup. "Well now you'll have a family. I promise." She tried to cheer up the mood and Chista.
"Yep! Thank you so much!" Chista said leaning back on Kirai.
'His moods change quickly.' Kirai thought smiling. "Here we are." She moved a bush aside. Her brothers were sleeping peacefully on a large bed of moss, while her parents watched worriedly for Kirai. "Momma! Papa!" She shouted running through the bush and into view.
Luna and Sterling raced to their daughter and made sure she was ok.
"Where were you?" Luna asked worriedly. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. I got seperated from you guys and began walking back. Then I found Chista and brought him here." Kirai looked up at her mother and father.
"Who?" Sterling asked, looking at Kirai confused.
"Chista. He's right behind that bush." Kirai smiled. She walked over to the bush and saw a faint form of her friend. "What's wrong?" She asked scared and worried.
"I'm joining my family. I couldn't leave yet because I hadn't met a kind gladier." Chista smiled at Kirai.
"W-What?" She took a step back.
"My parents and siblings and I were killed by a crazed gladier. I wanted to prove to my family and myself that there were kind gladiers out there. You fulfilled my wish so now I can leave." Chista said. He nuzzled Kirai's cheek and then disappeared.
“Do you have to leave?” Kirai’s eyes began to fill with tears.
“Yes. I must rejoin my family. Don’t worry I’ll always be with you.” Chista smiled as his figure began to fade even more.
“I’ll miss you.” Kirai sniffed. She wailed as Chista disappeared completely.
“I’ll always be with you.” Chista’s voice echoed.

Username: Fairy Artemis Pupname: Astraea Prompt: It's early evening, the sun has yet to set and all members of the small familly of strange, nocturnal Spicae are still sleeping soundly.
Response: She was lost. Completely lost. Astraea turned her gaze toward the sky and sighed. The sky was already a dark blue, but it wasn't really dark, there were thousands, no, millions of stars and the moon shone brightly, only a few little wisps of clouds could be seen in the sky and none of them were near big enough or thick enough to cover anything. It was actually quite bright this night.
'I shouldn't get distracted!' she thought to herself before turning her gaze back in front of her. All she had wanted was to look around a little, see if there was anything fun or interesting, she hadn't wanted to lie there and wait who knows how long for her family to wake up. 'I bet they're awake now. I wonder if I'm in trouble?' She hoped not. She really hadn't meant to go far but it was really exciting, she felt like a great explorer. 'I wonder if I'll find something no one has ever seen before?' she smiled to herself barely able to contain her excitement, giving a little hop before running over to inspect a tree with some weird markings on it.
'I'm sure my parents will find me. There's nothing wrong with having a little fun while I wait.' she thought to herself after deciding that up close the markings on the tree weren't so weird after all. At that moment Astraea heard some rustling in the bushes a few feet across from her. 'Huh? Already? My mom and dad are pretty good.' She was disappointed that she didn't get to discover something grand, but relieved at the same time. She pranced over to the bushes and looked through them fully expecting to find her family searching for her but instead...
"How RUDE! Where did she go? She said to meet her here when the sun set. I bet that airhead completely forgot. This always happens!" Astraea cocked her head to the side slightly and studied this strange Gladier. 'Definitely not anyone in my family' This Galdier was much brighter in color than her mom, dad, or siblings, being a bright pink-purplish color. Astraea had never seen a color quite like it. With light yellow for wings and the ears and tail fur. The Gladier was pacing in a circle and seemed upset. "MANNERS! No one has any manners anymore! What's wrong with a little common courtesy!?" Astraea thought the Gladier sounded female, but it was hard to tell with her growling like that. 'Maybe I should leave her alone, she doesn't look too happy right now.' Astraea sighed 'But, I bet mom and dad are worried. I should care about others feelings a little more.'
Astraea slowly and quietly walked out of the bushes toward the Gladier who had turned the other way. 'E-excuse me...' At this the other Gladier whipped around looking ready to attack, but she instantly stilled and her eyes softened when she caught site of Astraea. "Hello there sweetie. It's rather late for you to be wondering about on your own isn't it? Is something wrong?" Astraea felt incredibly relieved. It seemed that the Gladier was actually really nice. 'Well... you see... I'm kind of... lost' she whispered haltingly, still kind of unsure about this Gladier. "Lost?" asked the other Gladier before smiling at her kindly "You got away from your family?" 'Yes, I woke up earlier than the rest of my family and went to look around a little.' whispered Astraea feeling suddenly embarrassed. "Curiosity can be dangerous you know? But you are just a pup, it's to be expected. Just remember next time. I'll help you look for your family." the other Gladier said while walking over to Astraea. 'Ah! Really? Thank you so much! My name is Astraea'
"It's really no problem. It looks like the one I was waiting for isn't coming. She's a big girl. She'll find her own way home." the other Gladier said, a little bit of irritation creeping into her voice, but she quickly corrected herself and said in a much lighter tone "Astraea is a lovely name, my name is..." "Astraea! ASTRAEA! Where are you!?" Both Gladiers turned their heads toward the sound. "Sounds like you don't need my help after all." 'Mom! Dad!' Astraea started running toward the shouts before stopping and turning around 'Thank you so much. It was nice meeting you. I'm going now. Bye!' with that Astraea ran off to meet up with her parents.
The last Gladier sighed and smiled to herself "So much energy, she reminds me of..." her eye twitched in irritation even thinking about her "Well, that Astraea was much cuter and way more polite." she huffed to herself "I'm glad it all turned out okay, I better get home myself."
