(A Saichen Fanfic about her character)

Mid July, 2008

On the bar, there sat a sign stating "Bartender is here" with an arrow pointing down. if one were to look over the edge of the bar, they would see the grey-haired girl sitting on the floor scrubbing out champagne glasses with microfiber towels, trying to get them to sparkling clarity. "grr stupid... rawr..." her teeth and fangs were clenched tightly as she growled and rubbed. finally, she held up a glass and smiled at its gleam in the low barlight.

She sighed and swept her hair out of her eyes. "One down, a case to go..."

As she stood up to pour herself a shot of vodka, she heard the tell-tale sound of the announcements speakers creaking to life. All over Gaia, the admins had installed loudspeakers on the light posts and fence posts to tell all the users of the upcoming things going on. It had been extremely active in the last few months, sometimes several announcements in a day.

The olympics had been going on, so she figured it would have something to do with that... A few word perked her overly-sensative vampire ears, though.

We strongly recommend you stay away, because the last thing you want to do is buy and consume some volatile potion that turns you into something scary like a vampire, imp, or centaur. And don't even think about buying any of that Zurg Energy Drink they're selling! There's a whole slew of potions already there, and more coming later. You better just avoid Skin Tyte entirely for the next few days.

Even if there are potions to turn you back into a human, it's still way too risky. Just stay away!

...back into a human? She had heard rumors of a serum that could turn a vampire human again after Ian had come back from his father's mansion. She had also heard that it was destroyed... A bubble of emotions formed in the pit of her stomach. She willed it back down when it tried to catch in her throat. Shaking her head, she sat back down on teh floor and drank her shot of vodka.

Remember why you became a vampire!, she told herself. You did it so Ian wouldn't be alone! But she missed it... she missed the warmth of skin, the sun on it, and hanging out at the beach... she missed it all! But Ian has embraced his abilities and is enjoying himself! Right. So should I!
She lowered her head, grabbed her cloth and set back to work on the champagne flutes.
