She woke slowly from a deep slumbre, she had dreamed all night of the jungle, of it's beautiful green expances, of the dampness in the air and of the cool fresh waters which ran through it's trees. She had dreamed and it had made ehr smile. The pale lioness slowly opened her eyes and stretched out her aching mucles. Those pale watery green orbs rested for a moment on the male leopard, and she smiled, he had certainly given her something to dream about. It was worth shareign her den for a night thatw as for sure.

Getting to her paws she stretched each limb out, pulling the mucles from their tenceness caused by sleeping. A yawn finished ehr wake up routine and she padded towards the entrance to her den stepping happily in to the sunlight.

Usiku was a light sleeper to begin with, so when she woke he slipped on eye open in response. He had eat a little before resting, so he hadn't slept quite as long as she, but he didn't have a specific sleeping pattern so his body didn't mind. Seeing her get up he opened his other eye and lifted his head.

"Morning sleeping beauty," he teased with a chuckle, shaking his head a little to shake out his bangs from sleep. He remainced stretched out on his belly, though, looking rather comfortable. It wasn't often he slept inside. Usually it was out under the stars or in the branches of a tree. It was different.

Turning her pale eyes upon the male she let a little giggle roll over her lips, her face lighting up with the laughter. "And that would make you prince charming then?" She puurrs her ears flickering the sunlight dancing over her dark marked fur. "Did you sleep well?" She smiles, her eyes half lidded.

"I had such wonderful dreams of the jungle thanks to your story." She sighs ehr tail swishing back and forth in a pleased sort of fashion. "It seems i was supposed to meet you yeasturday, i don't think i have slept so calmly for a long time, at least not with dreams dancing in my head."

"Haha, you said it not me," he jested. He certainly didn't try to be charming, so if he was it wasn't on purpose. He was too easy going to really try to be anything but himself, which was seeking the joys in life.

"Yes, I think so. Didn't have to wake up to sun in my eyes," he laughed at this. Sometimes the sun was a little pushy in the morning.

He stretched out his front paws, his falling back a little in relaxation at the feeling. "I'm glad to be of service," he purred, partly from the feeling of warm muscles. He then sad up fluidly, curling his tail around his paws.

She smiles lightly watching the dark male as she sat carefully with her mae pointing in to her den while her back absorbed the rays of the sun. She liked to warm ehr cool body in the morning taking in the rays , it pleased her just to know that she was home, comfortable and safe and able to simply relax in the sunshine.

"Well you are welcome to stay a few days if you wish, I would love to hear more of your adventures. There are so many places in the world i would like to hear of." She let a slight yawn roll over her lips then and she blinked a few times pushing the sleep from her gaze.

"I guess I could do with a sunbathe for a few hours, would you care to join me? I know the perfect spot to bask."

"I'm not much of a...lingerer," he admitted gently, though there was no apology in his voice. He didn't feel he needed one. He didn't every stay in one place very long. It just wasn't his nature and he saw nothing wrong with that, nothing to be sorry for.

"But a....sun bath," he grinned at the wording, finding it amusing, "Would be nice. Lead the way." He slipped softly to his paws, his tail lashing out silently for balance. Briefly he eyed the den walls, as if to make sure not to bump them, since he wasn't used to them. But that was over quickly and he was at her side with a smile.

She smiled, she understood, he was an adventurer and thats what they did,t he never staed in one place always off to the next to find new and more exciteing things to do. She was satisfied with ehr life though it may have seemed boreing to the dark leopard she loved it. "I understand you wish to get on." She purrs getign to her paws.

"Follow me, it's not far, it's the best place to just lie back and catch the rays for an afternoon. Very relaxing." She giggles, she had a routine and one of them was to go to her basking rock, it wsn't erelaly one rock, it was several but they were flat and dark so they attarcted the sun which warmed her cooled bones and revitalised her fotr the days hunting.

His eyes crinkled in a smile at her understanding. He loved it when they could come to an understanding. He had met some that had been shocked, even insulted by his way of life. He never took it personally, but it was much more pleasant when they could still get along despite their differences, "Thank you."

"Alright, I'm right behind you," he assured her, moving when she did and keeping the pace rather smoothly and easily. Sun bathing...with his dark coat it was bound to be easy. It seemed like he did it naturally without even trying.

A little laugh rolled over her lips as she glanced sideways at the dark male. "I suppose you don't have to sun yourself very much. My fur doesn't really lend itself to the sun so I get quite cool of a night and it takes ma while to warm back up again. Still plenty of sun for me to relax in."

She chortled takeing a few more steps before nodding her head towards a small rise in the ground that was a small plateau of dark rock, perfect for relaxing on. "I call it my batheing spot. I usually come here every day before I go on a hunt, warms my bones back up" she chuckles padding onewards towards the dark rocky ground.

"I suppose I don't," he agreed in good humor, "But it can be a pain if I'm traveling in the middle of the day...after all, it can get really hot. That's why I like to move in the mornings and evenings, or even at night. It's just a it easier on me." He winked, nearly laughing as he realized the comment almost made him sound old. How odd! Well, he wasn't above laughing at himself.

He moved out on the rock and the moment he stepped on it he could feel the change and temperature under his paws. She was right, this was definately a good spot to warm up. He turned a bit before he settled down, stretching out his dark body. He felt like a sun magnet.

Radi giggled a little as she watched the big black leopard relax on the rocks, he almost vanished in the darkness of the plateau, a furry rock amongst none furry rocks. Stretching her body out beside hims he rolled on ehr back and closed her eyes her paws reaching for the skies.

"I'm so glad to have met you, I havn't had this much fun for a long time." She smiled, tilting her head to oneside and opening a soft green eye to look at the leopard. "Thankyou" She puurrs, letting a happy sigh roll over her lips as she closed her eyes once again and let the sun warm her cool fur.

"My pleasure, sweetie," he purred back, his eyes shut as he felt the sun soak through his skin. It felt really good. She certainly knew how to choose a relaxing activity. It was nice. It was probably the longest visit he'd had with someone in a while and though he wouldn't stay a whole lot longer...it was nice. It proved he didn't need to bolt immediately every time he reached a new place.

Well, it didn't matter how old you were, you could always learn something new. Her certainly had.
