Although this is not a name related suggestion, (forgive me)...perhaps we could change the banner? I was thinking of placing all breeds of the dogs which are owned by the members of this guild. Just a suggestion and...no, I am not trying to volunteer into doing the task. It was merely a suggestion. Also, I think the name quite appropriate smile .

Seriously, if I could at the moment I would. I'm not bad a drawing dogs and I would draw one, but unfortunately my scanner died and I'm working off of Microsoft Paint here. Come to think of it, I don't think anyone here even owns a bull terrier. We have what, one pit bull, assorted mutts, one JR, one Boxer, one Lab...

D: Damn living in an apartment. My scanner is in much the same situation at the moment, otherwise I'd try to whip up a banner, as well. I'm best with p***k- or crop-eared, double-coated or smooth-coated dogs (or wolves). I can do long hair if it's feathering, but I don't think I could draw a wire-haired dog or a dog with facial hair like a Maltese very well. And I really, really suck at drop or pendant ears. Semiprick aren't that much better. I'm almost okay with rose ears, though.

Well, I was looking at the are on this site where you can request certain art related things, but I was interrupted and has to stop. Does anyone know what a reasonable price is? I would have no problem selling some of my things to get more gold, if necessary.

Jalelia Well, I was looking at the are on this site where you can request certain art related things, but I was interrupted and has to stop. Does anyone know what a reasonable price is? I would have no problem selling some of my things to get more gold, if necessary. The price really depends on how detailed we want the banner to be. I think we need to get some ideas and images before we go charging off to have a banner made. I don't think gold is a problem- Like I said, I've got over 30k at the moment, and banners shouldn't cost anywhere near that much.

Perhaps we could simplify somewhat? I could, say, pick a few names out of a hat and the winners could pick a breed on the banner?
Or maybe we could come up with a generic mix--you know, the sort that you find in areas where the dogs have never been selectively bred, smooth or double coat, usually spotted or buff, p***k or semi-p***k ears?

Just black and white, preferably with chubby little cheeks and short hair. biggrin I think I'll go browsing around Google later today to find a picture, and it'll probably take me a while. I'm very aware of the mass amounts of dogs with the potential for that particular colouring. xD
