He stretched his wings, he was on his own today. His mother had agreed to letting him wander alone for a bit, but not to long or to far, and since they were visiting the beach, that didnt matter.
There was so many things to explore, his coat was slightly damp from the spray from the ocean that crashed against the sand, his opened his wings to it as he faced the ocean, almost challenging it as he laughed.
Turning his head, he headed down the beach. Something down there was moving, it looked like sand but it moved side ways? His brows knit together as he neared it, completely confused by this new creature...

Adalina wandered out onto the sand on her own for the time being, her hooves kicking up sand sprays as she went. Her dad was taking a nap after they had first come out to explore the beach and she was just too bored to wait around for him to wake up. He’d told her a lot of stories about the beach, it’s where he had pretty much ‘proposed’ to her mother and that there were lots of things to see. She’d already seen a crap and a turtle and some birds that were called seagulls. The tide had been too far in but apparently there were lots of colorful fish and other creatures in some place called tide pools that he’d show her later.
For now though, she would settle for finding stuff on her own. It was the first time she’d actually wandered away on her own but no one seemed to around so she was safe. Or at least she hoped. In the distance she could see a figure also walking along the beach and she froze. Would she have enough time to run back to her dad before it caught her? Was he or she friendly? Was it a cannibal?? She just waited to see what it would do before panicking.

The movement of something else caught his attention, so..at the moment he had the attention span of a goldfish but he was still young. Hopefully he'd grow out of it one day..hopefully.
Lifting his head, he stared at the slightly familiar looking figure. A brow arched as he peered down the beach at the figure, crimson eyes sparkled in the sunlight as he shrugged and began to trot towards the figure..whats the worse that could happen?
He'd be able to fly out of dangers way if anything spooked him, he was becoming a very talented flyer after his lessons with his mother.

Oh no it’s coming towards me! Run! RUN! Her mind screamed over and over but her legs were frozen. As the figure continued to get closer she finally turned and ran for the nearest rock to hide behind. She waited a bit before finally peeking her head around to see if it was still coming after her and…she actually recognized who it was. “Heph…? Heph!” she shouted excitedly as she sprinted out from her hiding place to chase him down. Her only friend she’d ever made and here he was at the beach just like her! Once she was right in front of him she skidded to a halt in the sand, sending showers every which way. “What’re you doing here, Heph? I didn’t think I’d see you again for a long time!” She smiled happily at him, her little tail wiggling with excitement.
