PRP for Dinyana and Kat =3

---------

User Image Phoenix Wright shivered slightly as he left the house that afternoon to go on one of his regular strolls to the supply shack over at the Kitsusagi HQ building, grumbling to himself about not wearing his fluffy warm sweater, or his toque.

He noted with an air of mild disdain that the afternoon air was colder than many of the recent ones he had been outside in previous days. He couldn't help but look for the beginning signs of the Fall, and also began to wonder how far away winter was. He had no calander to help him tell the months, but he could guess well enough from the seasonal patterns around him.

He knew from those signs alone that he'd already been here well over a year by now. In that time he'd found Edgeworth and Gumshoe, but nobody else... he'd also heard that Manfred Von Karma had been hanging around, but hadn't gone in search of him just yet. And while he had made some really good friends here since his arrival, he couldn't help but miss his old ones back home.

A small sigh escaped him, the thought weighing heavily through his mind as he approached the HQ shack. If he could stand and walk on two legs more easily, he would be stuffing his paws into his coat pockets right about now.

"Silly weather..." He mumbled as he approached the front door of the shack, unable to feel his paw-fingers any longer due to the cold ground. He began to think of his old friends and wondered when he would be seeing them again, or if he ever would.

It didn't even cross his mind that anyone apart from his friends would show up as he placed his paws against the door, pushing it open so he could move inside.

"So.. cold..."

Even in the cold breezy air she was happily able to wear her signature white dress with pink lace. Her umbrella was with her but it was folded up, afraid for it to be stuck within the tree she was resting atop of. A while ago she was being hounded by a couple things that she didn't recognize at all.

She was able to scare them off for a while but just in case they came back she decided to hide in the branches and leaves. She wasn't too far away from the HQ right now, knowing that as soon as it got dark she would retreat to the shack to eat and then return outside. It was where she felt most at 'home'--in the abyss of the night forest. These atrocious wings that sprouted out of her back didn't help her feel comfortable however. She had no idea where the hell she was but then again it was better than where she was before.

Yet if there was one thing she wanted gone right now were these accursed butterflies. Before it was cute and all but in reality she hated butterflies and wanted nothing more for them to leave her alone. Unfortunately they weren't listening (not that they could, but still).

She sent them a glare as they continued to aimlessly flutter around the branches and leaves around her. Finally she became fed up and swung her free hand at them. "Leave me alone, you insignificant bugs! Go annoy someone else around these woods!" She spat at them, noticing among the decaying leaves that they had an odd blue glow amongst them.

No sooner than she swing did the butterflies abandon the trees, fluttered down and began to move sporadically around the area. Eventually they found their way through the windows of the shack and all that Dahlia did was scoff, pulling her shawl so that it would fit tighter around her arms. Hopefully they wouldn't be back too soon to bother her yet again.

What he really wanted right now was some hot chocolate. Or coffee. Phoenix was quick to move to the refrigerator in the shack, frowning to himself as he only found a bottle of grape juice. He shrugged and took the lid off, taking a tentative sip from the bottle.

"Hey," He said aloud to nobody in particular. "This is actually pretty good."

Seeming content with his new discovery, he carried the bottle of grape juice back out with him as he headed into the main open area of the building. It was at that point he noticed butterflies... and thought that was very odd.

"How did those get inside?" Phoenix scratched the side of his head, and looked around the room, noticing the open window shortly afterwards. "Odd." He walked over to the window, initially intending to shut it closed. However, curiousity had gotten the better of him and he soon slipped outside, wanting to know where they had come from.

It was too late in the season to see flowers, or butterflies, unless he had missed something.

The crimson haired vixen continued to sit up in the tree, twirling a small chunky strand of her hair on the side. She wondered where she was, even to this day. It was nothing like home was. Then again, with so many homes in one lifetime...

That's when her crimson-brown eyes caught a blue glow. Those damn bugs were back again, fluttering around her in the dying leaves. Didn't they go inside of the shack or something? Regardless she was angry.

"I told you bugs to shoo, so shoo!" Dahlia quietly hissed at the butterflies, flinging her hand at them again with a dark glare. The butterflies bended to her whim as always and flew away from her sights and hopefully to the ends of the world, where she couldn't see them. She wished they never followed her to this place.

The innocent girl image was good when it was needed, but other times it annoyed her. It seemed like she couldn't get a moment of peace these days. Bad enough she was being troubled by the aspect of being in a foreign land, maybe even world.

Sighing she pushed herself against the bark of the tree, sure that the high tree branch would not drop on her. Even then she had these odd black wings that could save her from falling. Although while she was resting easy atop the tree she didn't notice the other shade of blue below her on the ground.

"That's... really strange." Phoenix said aloud to himself as he saw the butterflies outside, tilting his head in curiousity as he noticed that there were more further away from the shack. Why were they glowing? Butterflies didn't glow, did they? Unless they were another strange thing that happened around here...

It was at that point when Phoenix heard the voice. It was a feminine voice, and rather angrily telling something to "shoo". This piqued his curiousity enough to move into the woods to investigate properly.

"Hello?" He called out finally. He'd helped many a lost kit around these parts before and he assumed something like that was the case again.

"Hey, where are you?" He stopped, looking around him again, confused as he saw nobody. "Ah... are you lost? In trouble? Do you need help?"

Her ears perked at the sound of another voice. Wonderful. The butterflies left but brought a more intelligent form of annoyance. Sighing she quickly wondered what to reply with. Although whoever below her sounded a little familiar she had to play along right now. Maybe they would leave her alone. Of course if it's those idiot hounds again I'll have to smack them.

"Um, u-up here!" She timidly spoke with her shy voice, the 'innocent charming act' on full motion. Play it cool, you've done this so many times you can't even count anymore.

"I'm fine, sir! I just wanted to have a good view of the sky!" Actually the view from here was awful, but anything to get whoever was below her away. She didn't have time to associate with people that she didn't need something from. It was pointless.

Her head tilted down to see if she could get a good view of who was below her, but no such luck. Her view was blocked by the ugly leaves. Stupid fall. Yet she was so sure she had heard that same voice before. From where though and when exactly. It was obviously a male but who?!

Phoenix flicked his ears, quite curious now as he looked up into the tree canopy, hoping to spot the owner of the voice. The voice sounded strangely familiar, somehow... He didn't ponder over that long. Maybe this lady needed help. She sounded pretty nice, and that made him grin slightly - he was always happy to help a nice person. Especially because they were usually grateful for it. It made him feel useful. And right now, he needed more of that...

"You're up in the trees?" He called out. "The sky is pretty nice. But it's not going to be soon... the night is going to come soon, and then it will get really cold out here. Do you need help getting down, miss?"

"You must be pretty high up," Phoenix continued. "Because I can't see you. Are you OK with getting down? Or do you... need help?" He swallowed hard, immediately regretting those words. Thanks to certain events in the past, he was rather afraid of heights.

"How did you get up there?"

She bit her lip, holding back a shout towards the creature at the bottom of the tree. Normally she wouldn't do such a thing blatantly, but she was too high up to see so she wasn't worried too much about how she looked. Right now what she was worried about was this guy annoying her. Especially if he came up here.

She couldn't put her finger on it but he sounded so damn familiar, and she did not want to meet familiar people. It would not be good, seeing as she didn't have the cleanest track record in her past life.

"N-No, thank you, sir." She replied, paws clenching her shawl tightly. "I'll be fine up in the tree, really. I like the night sky so I don't mind a little cold fall weather."

How did she get up here? What does he mean? Can't he see that I have...oh! Right he couldn't see her, and vice versa. "Well I have wings, so I was able to fly up myself." She called out again, giving out a small cute smile even if he couldn't see it.

It was all about engrossing herself in the character. She had to do so, or else it could affect her whole act. It was a show, and she was the star. Stars don't mess up.

"Are you sure?" Phoenix frowned. "I can appreciate your love of the night sky, but it's going to get pretty cold tonight, you know. The nights have been getting cold enough to put frost on the ground." He frowned with concern now. However, he was pleased with her next statement. "If you have wings, you can just glide down on them. Put them out and make them stiff, and jump forwards out of the tree. Sounds pretty scary at first, but it works. I've had to do it before, and I've never injured myself."

"If fly up there myself, but..." He sighed, curling his firey wings up on his back tightly. "I'm afraid of heights."

"So come on," He called up once more, trying to sound friendly and convincing. "It's not dangerous. Come down?"

Dahlia huffed, a small puff of air visible from her mouth now. It was getting dark, but she most certainly rather not come down just because he said so. Not to mention that if she really does know him and, more importantly, if he knows her then she rather not come down. She didn't feel like getting a headache. Not to mention she didn't exactly have anything on hand, that she could use to fight with. Well, except maybe my parasol. But then it would get dirty.

"I'm not afraid of flying, sir." She replied, making sure not to use a terribly annoyed tone to match her mood. "I rather not get down right now, is all." So get away from my sights and stop being so damn concerned. He was starting to irk her. Whoever he was at least.

That's when he shared a little personal information about heights. "One with wings, but is afraid to use them?" She quietly muttered to herself. Who was this idiotic person?

"Sorry, sir, but I rather not come down. If you want me to then you'll have to get me yourself." She challenged, sure that his fear of heights and the chilling weather would get the best of him.
