Originally this thread was a "bi-weekly theme" meaning that each theme ran for two weeks. Unfortunately with how dead things are around here, I'm changing this up a bit until things maybe get rolling again. So here's how things will work for now...
-Each theme will be up for two weeks, allowing time for brain storming and sketching and finishing work.
-Discussion and suggestions for upcoming themes will go on in this announcement thread during the first week of the current drawing theme's run.
-Voting for the next theme will occur during the second week of the current drawing theme's run.
-After the two weeks are up, the next theme chosen by the vote will go up as the current theme! biggrin
-Themes will be up uh... as long as I leave them up. But that doesn't mean you can't keep drawing from that theme once it's gone or that you *have* to draw according to the theme while it's up.
-I'll try to keep the themes relatively fresh and updated every so often when I get new ideas.
-Feel free to suggest theme ideas by posting in this thread.
Posting Guidelines:
-Art can be avatar art or not.
-Art can loosely or broadly interpret the theme. We don't really care as this is mostly to keep creative juices flowing and to have a good time!
-Post as much art relating to the theme as you like. Conversely, feel free to not bother with a theme if it doesn't suit your palette.
-Please post all art in the AST, AST Clone, or the Everything Else threads where they appropriately fall. This thread is ONLY for discussion/voting of the themes!
-As usual, keep things to Gaia TOS and our PG-13/16 rating blah blah blah you know that.
Suggestions/Discussion Guidelines:
-All suggestions, comments, questions, concerns, and phone numbers on little slips of paper are accepted! Don't be shy! I don't bite
-Please treat others as you'd like to be treated. You may say you don't care for an idea so much but please don't be an a** about it.
-On second thought, not *all* suggestions will be taken. Avoid the porno stuff kiddos. Remember, PG-13/16. That means you Faggy.
Voting Guidelines:
-I'll be putting as many suggestions as I can in the poll. It only gives me 10 options however so themes that are similar may get combined and themes that are suggested by multiple persons or seconded etc will get priority for listing.
-You get one vote each time so make it count! biggrin
-Feel free to discuss how the voting is going, cheer on your favorite theme, whatever. However, suggesting new themes should be saved for the next discussion. I can't add new themes to the vote part-way through D: That's not fair.
-Polling closes after 1 week.
There is currently no voting on themes until things pick up.
