The only band I know that only releases it's music on tape, still. Besdies the fact that they are my absolute favorite funeral band, even beating Ahab...I think, just pure amazingness. Still how aesome is that, tapes. FREAKIN TAPES! Amort, more metal than a kitchen knife. http://www.myspace.com/amortdoom

Sounds good, but shouldn't this be in the music section?

NO! The point was about Tapes. Who realeas tapes anymore? I mean I don't even think I own a tape player anymore. Why tapes?

Usually it's just demos. A lot of bands are still using vinyl, but yeah tapes aren't too common any more.

tapes are cool, but vinyl's the way to go. better sound quality than tapes, cds, or mp3s

Divinus Cruor MegaTherion777 tapes are cool, but vinyl's the way to go. better sound quality than tapes, cds, or mp3s lower lifespan not really. cds are far easier to ruin, and tapes have a terrible lifespan. obviously vinyl has a lower one than mp3s, but you can record a record to your computer if you're that worried about it. if you take care of your vinyl though, it can last a long time. i've got a bunch of my mom's old records and they still sound great. she was just careful enough not to get pizza stuck in the grooves stressed
