Hello all how are you? Most of you have noticed the guild dying, resurrecting, dying, resurrecting, over and over again. We DO NOT want that to happen again. We want to get this guild active once and for all. Now thing is we need YOUR help. Before we can promote this guild and try to get other members we need to get the members who are already in active. So I need your input. What makes you come to a guild and be active? What should we do to get members to stay active once they join? All ideas accepted and anyone really truly willing to help is appreciated. God bless and much love to all smile

Oh... gosh... I didn't notice this post!
I have a habit of ignoring stickies... (Bad forum etiquette I guess!)
Ok. Count me in as active. I check here every once every 2 weeks or so at the moment. (I would check more, but there is hardly ever new posts!) I joined the guild because ... well I like forum's, and I used to like gaia.
When I first joined Gaia I was probably a more normal user... I liked anime, wanted to roleplay, posted my own art and stuff... These day's I only draw and color when I have the time, and am no longer as serious about it. I am alright but not good enough, so the only reason I keep drawing and coloring is so I won't have completely wasted my time.
Also, I am not such a big Anime fan any more, even though I admire talented artists.
If we had art competition's, and enough people interested to post I would participate... all depends on the rest of the guild though.
I also want to become stronger in my knowledge of the bible, and my ability to explain things to people... And I like reading and trying to figure things out
(But I will admit that lately I'm having trouble reading my bible outside of church and bible study's)
1) Bible study's ... I would love do more of those
2) Discussion, debate and opinion. ... debate can sometimes lead to a lot of unchristian things (pride, anger, verbal/text abuse) ... and can bring out the worst in people ... But it is a big part of online forum's, and we could probably do some good with it.
Finally... Although I go to church, and I'm trying to give more of my effort into contributing and not just showing up ... I do find it hard sometimes.
If we really have Christian's community's on Gaia then I would like to be a part of that. Its a really important of being a Christian, to build up and encourage other Christians and let them help you.
I'm sure that that other people out there could come up with better, more original, and more creative idea's. If they do I would be happy to listen and help where I can.
