Inari, fox-god of agriculture from Japanese mythology, known for dressing as a beggar and testing the charitability of men.

Can cook with the best of them; the local Anthropomorphs' Iron Chef. wink
Has a strange affinity with nature and animals. Can calm or befriend, "charm," any creature or person that allows him to (in other words, that is not openly hostile).
-[ Attitude ]-
Inari has an ever-present smile on his face that is partly his facial structure (slanted eyes, wide mouth, etc.), partly practiced mask. He can, if he tries, fake any pain with a smile, trick the eye into believing a sprained ankle is merely a spring in his step. It is part of how he has survived for countless centuries on his own. And you thought it was the cute tail and wings.

Though he is the cook, the way to Inari's heart is through his stomach. It is about his favorite thing in the whole world! He also has a bad habit for sticking out for the little guy, playing the vigilante by pretending to be frail when really he is not, just to attract the right predator to punish with his own brand of justice.
-[ Dislikes ]-
He really has a hard time allowing people to wallow in their own self-pity, which leads to one of his larger vices, that of his tendancy to meddle in other people's business. Usually this is focused solely on those he considers close family and friends, and only those whose problems should never have been allowed to continue for so long.
-[ Hidden Self ]-
Strange as it might seem, Inari would rarely risk his own life for anything if given the choice. For a close loved-one yes, but not for a cause or idea. He relies on his wiles and a sense of opportunism; to die in the process of seeing his own ends meet would defeat his greater purpose (whatever that might be). So while his sence of justice and loyalty are great, he would rather see an opponent win the battle than give up his chances at winning the war.

Ignatius is the element of fire, or seems to be something close to it. Capable of anything from creating waves of heat and a light breeze to full scale firestorms, forestfires, and some rare infernos capable of melting metal, his powers are only so powerful through many years of careful practice and control (and many, many mistakes).
-[ Attitude ]-
Iggy has a bright, almost childlike personality, coupled with a highly social flirtaciousness. Unfortunately, his naivete tends to get him into trouble especially in matters of the heart. He has a communal mind, wants his friends and family in the same area so they can always be together. And when they can not or will not, it hurts him deeply. He is a little too empathic for his own good, wanting everyone to be happy and often putting himself last, which makes some wonder how he ever made it as an Alpha. They probably don't want to know...

He loves making people happy, mediating being one of his greatest achievements (and worst frustrations) as an Alpha. Cute, fuzzy, soft things. Snuggling. Bunnies, kittens, just about any baby animal. The Easter holiday.

Alcohol, for its dangerous affect on his flame; water for its opposite affect on his flame. Discord, chaos, anger, spite. Those who would hurt another for his own gain or entertainment. Anyone under his jurisdiction disobeying a direct order (pisses him the hell off o_O; ). Having to use force, though he has no qualms using it...

Iggy is secretly a worrywort, something that his closest friends have seen a little bit of. Again, it goes back to his need to make everyone happy. If they aren't happy, somehow it must be his fault and he feels a desperate need to fix the problem. He is also afraid of hurting others physically, which might be why he likes to "spread the love" as it were. All of his emotions, good and bad, he feels intensely, and this is tied in closely with his control of the element of fire. He fears that to lose control would mean the destruction of property and the loss of life. He might have something there...

-[ Basis ]- Keahi is a Hawaiian name meaning "fire," or "flames," and can be applied to either gender. -[ Abilities ]- Keahi seems to have inherited many of Ignatius' abilities of fire. He loves to curl up in the fireplace to sleep - nestled among the roaring flames. His anger brings about a similar aura of heat waves that have thus far been extinguished before he could catch on fire. Time will tell if he can be as dangerous as his father -[ Attitude ]- Like Iggy, he is prone to moments of zany or catlike behavior, usually involving chasing someone's tail or nipping their ears, or pawing at their nose, almost neurotically. Then... it's back to sleep as if nothing happened. He has no fear when it comes to striking up a conversation with even an alpha... he is the son of one after all. He walks with that kind of confidence as well. However, in the midst of discussion, it is his age that betrays him, and soon enough he becomes almost apologetic in behavior in his desire to please his elders. -[ Likes ]- He still likes to hide among Machi's ruffly skirts, as there is enough to go around. However, like his alpha father, Keahi feels little need to actually wear clothes. Therefore, his bed is what becomes decked out in pillows, textured fabrics, and... well, anything Machi can suggest to make it feel more like home. He likes to play with long hair, which often annoys people he knows, the ones he is most likely to toy with. -[ Dislikes ]- Especially loud noises terrify Keahi, and he has been known to launch himself at Jimi's guitar. Carlos named himself, if anyone can believe that. He looks up to his father in all things, and since the Unicorn was named after a great guitarist, he wanted to be named similarly. Carlos, therefore, is named after the master musician, Santana. And you thought it was a work of vanity on the father's part... =P

No abilities have been discovered yet. However, it has been discovered that he definitely does not have a knack for musical instruments, unfortunately.

Despite his rather feminine appearance, Carlos is all male. He does not mind getting his hands dirty both figuratively and literally, as long as he can wash up afterwards. Wide-eyed and curious, he is the last person to judge another, especially if they are at all associated with Jimi. If they are at odds with him, "I'm sure they can't be all bad." He is admittedly optimistic, to the point of naivete, more a typical Unicorn than his own full-blooded father.

Of all the senses, Carlos loves the sense of Touch the best. This is why, despite Jimi's poorly-guarded disgust, he can be found wearing such things as feathered boa's, suede, and sleeping on satin sheets. Because Jimi does not like to cuddle (except perhaps with Haru ... but don't say that aloud), Carlos would be most likely found snuggling up with Haru or Iggy, for example (the latter of which would no doubt piss Jimi off...).

Wearing high-heels and itchy clothes (like wool), which are uncomfortable. Carlos definitely wants to feel pampered (if only by himself) at the end of the day.

Asher is based off a vampire of the same name from Laurell K. Hamilton's series of Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter novels. Both are scarred over the right side of their bodies with burn scars from holy water. Because of their beauty they were chosen to become a vampire; because of their scars they were ostracized literally for centuries. Ironically, despite the character's tortured past, the name itself is Hebrew for happy, or blessed.

The name Laramie is French for "tears of love," an expression of everything Asher felt when he first held Laramie in his arms.
-[ Abilities ]-
I am going to go with the half-vampire abilities common to such stories as Blade and Vampire Hunter D. He has the ability to walk around during the day, which, in his early years poses the worst threat to his safety due to the fact that Asher remains unconscious and immobile until after the sun has fully set. He is extremely sensitive to sunlight, but can walk around in it, provided his skin is not directly lit. His lifespan will be long, his physical strength and athletic abilities (jumping and running for example) will be superhuman ... and yet, the need for blood remains. Oh, and of course, that dual pair of adorable white-pink wings are not just for show, they are more than enough to give him the gift of flight.
-[ Attitude ]-
Laramie still possesses a wide-eyed curiousity about everything. He has not learned to fear (and may never for that matter), and will strike fangs-first without thought to his own safety if he perceives a threat. He shows many of Asher's characteristics, mainly in the form of passionate anger and curse words, as well as arrogance that only with time and experience will become well-earned. He is also learning the arts of throwing a graceful fit, complete with pouting and the slamming of doors or disappearing into the night, also courtesy of Asher.

Shiny, soft, and/or moving objects and fleeing anthros; the thrill of the hunt runs deep. People who smile at him. A warm body to snuggle and fall asleep against - could be a total stranger as he is not particular. He LOVES blue, and is prone to wearing the color as well as becoming transfixed by something of that color.

Hostility directed at himself; otherwise he is rather open-minded and amiable about just about anything, or anyone.

Merric is a Celtic name meaning "ruler of the sea." It is also rather catchy. ...No pun intended. O.o;

Adaptation to both sea- and freshwater, as well as air.

In general, a positive outlook rules Merric, though his arrogance and spontaneity can work to his disadvantage. He is a restless soul, often roaming the Mer tank restlessly until he can bear it no longer, and goes out for a stroll in his human form, in the park or somesuch. His tendency to judge people and situations instantaneously often gets him into trouble since he sees the world in "black and white." Either a person is a jerk, or a nice person. One or the other. Otherwise, he wakes up "right-eyed and bushy-tailed," as the saying goes, and thinks the best until given a reason to believe otherwise.

Flowers, plants with fronds or anything that waves about to a current (especially underwater), clothes that drape or billow, jewelry and sparkly things in general (metal, etc.), nature untouched by Man, being sneaky or silly on occasion.

Rude individuals (nevermind that his own actions may be viewed as rude), losing a battle (physical or otherwise).

Despite an above average level of arrogance, crowds of people, even other Mers, make him nervous. Part of what fuels his restless wanderings is a sense of pent-up, nervous energy that others ignite within him. That may be because of his lack of contact with others in the past, but who knows.

Merric claims Atlantean ancestry, though he may not voice it to just anyone. Who nowadays would believe him? Suffice to say, he comes from the vast oceans where he is used to wandering the vast depths.

Similarly he is nowhere near alert enough to possible dangers as others normally are. Someone tape a sign to his back that says VICTIM on it to make it more obvious to those around him. Le sigh. On the other hand, he tends to mistake rough play with an attack if caught unawares. This will earn the villain either a swat in the face or ... no Keelin.
