Sablara requested it, and I think it's a great idea.
Show us your town. Take as many pictures as you like, and show them to us. Later on, we will have a contest to determine who took the most interesting shot.
For now, just post pictures you have taken of your town!

This is my home town - Cottesloe Beach - during a storm in 1995. Geraldton is a town north of Perth (about a 4 or 5 hour drive). I went there a couple of years ago with work : I'll get some more recent photos of Perth when I can. heart YAY for Australia! heart

To Bakura- I especially, especially love the trees in the background of the last photo. There seems to be this bluish-grayish haze that captures the essence of winter. I love how you captured the beauty of your area!

Sablara-
Your gift in photography seems to be in the large, land/seascape shots. I am absolutely enamored. The cliff over-looking the sea has such an elegant shape and you captured that size.
The one of the canyon near Perth was it? That one is incredible. I love how the two sides of rock are framing the photograph-- making a viewer feel like they really are there. Once again you have a gift for showing the breadth of something. ^_^

My parents live near Margaret River - I should take some photos down there too. The beaches and landscape down there is much prettier than up north (because it's greener).

I work in an office which is a "cube farm". My cube has no views...but I always walk the long way around the office to get a view of the river... This is the Swan River which Perth is built around. I'm on level 22 of my building and looking south.
