they have only anounced world tour metallica and hendrix(jimi Hendrix that is)

Maybe they will end it after world tour
and after that just release band based titles like aerosmith and metallica

That is a good question......i dont know im sure they'll make at least 2 more games of guitar hero and might end it with like the greatest titles ever known in rock n roll history from glam to pure metal any many more but we'll just wait and see about that

I think 1 or 2 things will happen, the series will die after what we already know, or it's going to take a whole different direction and stay around for a lon g time.

i dont think much more is going to come out. unless if they find a way to improve the drums (which i highly doubt because the drums are already pretty much excelent) they're probably going to come out with another 1, if not 2, more.

It's probably gonna be something like: Guitar Hero:Universal Rockstar
Guitar is gonna have the same fret layout,including slidebar,but farther up the neck,but also another five fret buttons,above the regular frets. They'll be able to be used to gain extra points,if star power is active.
Drums would have four pads and still two cymbals. The kick pedal would be modified to have more bounce,and durability.
Microphone would be the same,but would come with a height-adjusting stand.
The game would have 96 songs,all master recordings,with about 200 downloadable songs by the end of the year.
Yes,Music Studio will STILL be there,but will be better than before. Time would be extended to four minutes,or 1500 notes per instrument.
Hyperspeed would no longer be a cheat,but an option,along with Performance Mode.
One of the venues would be a spaceship,hence the name "Universal" Rockstar.
Lou would be a boss,yet again,but not the last. The last would be some kind of alien with four arms,with a guitar being held in both pair of hands.

i hope they stick around with it for a wile before ending it because these games are amazing!!! i hav almost every guitar hero(2-metallica) but they really need to stay i mean i bought rock band 2 and it isn't even close to how good guitar hero is. and they should make a guitar hero dragonforce and they have anounced only one more sad jimi hendrix i hope they make more after that tho
