The lord and his lady walked the lush jungle paths, eyes ahead on their way.

Actually, Kimba was dancing a bit as they moved' he loved adventure, and his eyes and bottom always showed it. Occasionally he smiled to his mate, or licked her ear, but always moving, walking, searching.

Lyra laughed gently watching the male flounce about always made her giggle. he was so handsome, tall and strong and that ehad he had for adventures was a wonderful thing. She was glad to have stollen him away from his work for a change, happy to just be beside him alone together in the jungles dappled light.

"which way now?" she whosers looking left to right questioningly.

"Hmmm..." Kimba looked around.

"Let's go right this time." The male sniffed the air, but didn't smell water yet. He moved slightly, mostly to make sure the route was clear of hyenas, and nodded the safety to Lyra. So far, so good....

She smiled, he was always so protective, so alert, she was happy just to pad along in a world of her own. There wouldn't be anyone out here, she didn't think, the worlsd seemed deserted bar for the sound of birds over head.

"Yes, it's a wonderful day for an adventure." She puurrs her gentle blue eyes watching ehr big mate as he padded along her nose occassionally touching his shoulder or his mane. it was good to be alone.

"Very." Kimba smiled, stretching a bit and walking slowly.

"I wonder what we'll find!"

The lion grinned wide, tail flicking happily, before curling around his mate's.

She moved closer to him, her shoulder pressing gently against his as they padded along, her soft blue eyes gaze dreamily watching him. He was the love of her life,s he wished he would stay at her side all the time. It would have pleased her to no end.

"Who knows, perhaps nothing, perhaps everything. Adventuring isn't just about finding things after all, it's the journey thats just as important."

"I know.. I'm just always wondering."

He smiled warmly, watching the birds fly by. He loved peacefulmoments like this; it was why he even involved himself with humans... To ensure there would always be more. A deep rumble began in his mighty chest, and he rubbed Lyra a bit softly, lovingly.

She laughed gently looking up at him with her big blue eyes. With a click of ehr tongue she dives away from him her tail wriggling playfully. "Catch me Kimba!" She beams her tail flickering out over her back as she bounded away from him, the idea of an old game running in her mind.

How she loved to rememeber their younger days, their time being youing playing cub games. she missed it sometimes, though only sometimes.

Kimba smiled, and followed his mate rapidly, paws thumping into the dirt hard.

He wanted to catch her, but oh, the chase!

He laughed, smiling as he followed. He loved her games, just so....

She glanced back at him momentarily only to find her paws dropping down a smooth incline. She whooped then started to giggle as she rolled down the grassy ledge.

"You'll never catch me now!" She shouted up to him as she tumbled to the bottom in a laughing heap her paws spreadeagled.

Kimba laughed, following, and rolled, however, being larger, he was heavier; he rolled past, and landed in a pond with a great splash. The male poked his head up in surprise, gasping.

Lyra giggled happily getting to her paws and padding up to her big mate. She paddled in tot he pool flicking his mane from his eyes with a paw she grins and giggles. "you're a little wet." she smiles looking up for a moment.

It was then that she realised they were at the base of a waterfall. It was small and fed in tot he water which kimba sat in. "Do you think this is it?" She whispers, looking up at the beautiful little falls with facination.

Kimba looked sheepish, smiling and licking her ear, before looking himself.

"Maybe. But it is a nice little spot..."

He forgot the grand adventure a moment, smiling, before he playfully tried to knock Lyra into the water more-- gently.

"EEk!" She squeeked falling in to the water with a little laugh, she surfaced and splashed him. "Bully." She smiles puling a tongue at the big white lion as she moved towards him and licked his nose.

"Now I'm all wet too." She whispers flickering her tail.

Kimba smiled, licking both of her ears.

"So you are..." He purred, rubbing anyhow.

She sighed happily, grooming his damp face and letting a gentle puurr escape from her lips. "lets rest here for a while ebfroe we go on hmm? it's so beautiful here."

"I agree; let's!" Kimba smiled, rumbling in his chest before grooming Lyra as well.

She smiled and shook off her fur paddling fromt he water she padded over to one of the many trees surrounding the area and lay resting her chin on her paws. "It's almost like our own little paradise." She puurrs her blue eyes dancing happily.

Kimba nodded, following his mate from the water.

"It is... It's relaxing."

The greate white male shook, getting the water from his fur carefully.

Lyra smiled, he looked so much smaller when wet and it made her giggle, she held a paw out and siganled for himt o join her. This was certainly turning in to a wonderful adventure for the two of them.

Kimba smiled, padding over with her and put his paw on hers warmly, rumbling gently. He had to admit, he'd missed their adventures, and it was a welcome change.

She smiled gently settling down with her mate the birds singing over head and her fur quickly druing in the humid heat. It was just nice to be with hima nd she was very glad he was there.
