 Casting a quick glance around, Illius released a breath he hadnt realised he was holding. Perhaps it was his curse, he supposed, that he constantly seemed to catch the attention of the one thing he feared the most. Hurridly, he moved himself out from the open, tucking himself between two bushes, large flowers almost making him choke with how strong they smelled. Sighing lightly, soft blue eyes scanned the area, taking in the vast sploches of color the flowered bushes provided. It was beautiful, if nothing else, causeing a small smile to crawl its way across his muzzle.

Despite his constant, instantly drawn attention towards males, he actually tends to enjoy the open lands mostly during this time of year. The outcry of different colors was a ease of beauty and something Faye found himself fitting quite well in. As he moved, he brushed his rose-covered tail against the cool grass and listening to the sweet wisps as it swept right back up after he passed. His long hair was windblown and made the cool air refreshing to him. He moved with a light and easy trot where his paws were lifted high to skim over the top of the grass and avoid any unnecessary drag in his step.
Then, he slowed and paused. His nose was lifted to the air and ears perked. Slowly Faye then turned to the mob of flowering bushes near Illius's location. He approached and stopped a few strides away from Illius but did not face the hidden male showing that Faye had not noticed the colorful ulaya yet. He was emersed in admiring the flowers.

Illius tensed at the sound of foot falls comming ever closer, muscles poised and ready to bolt at the first sign of anything dangerous. Heart beating wildly in his ribcage, the sound of it's beating almost deafened Illius to the other. Somehow. Somehow one of the males had folowed him. That had to explain it, Illius figured, as there was never anyone here. 'Here' being tucked away from the normal going-ons of others. Careful not to make a sound Illius found himself holding his breath, eyes frantically trying to catch a glimpse of the ulaya nearing him.
A sigh escaped him as he caught sight of long violet hair. A female then. The rainbow males body sagged, muscles exhausted from being pulled taught as a bow string.

Faye shifted his weight trying to decided where or not that rose bush over there looked fairer than the one before him. The deeper red of the flowers cause him to nod to himself and make up his mind to move over a few bushes. However, that also cause him to edged towards Illius, who Faye had not noticed yet. His long, rose-covered tail swayed behind him as he walked closer and closer to Illius. The dark violet male's eyes wandered over the bushes until he caught a strange, foreign color in the mass of leaves and petals. Hesitantly, he lifted a paw and moved into the bush and towards the white mass until he nudged it.

Soft blue eyes widened with every step the other took nearer to him. Even if the other was female she was still larger than himself. Albite much leaner, his mind offhandedly grummbled. Not that he cared or anything, thank you very much. So caught up in his own inner argument Illius almost forgot the others path towards him. He was jolted from his thoughts as a paw nudged at him, body snapping upward, a yelp escaping his throat as he collided with the bushes he was under, thorns jabbing harshly into his skin. Jerking back, thorns scraping along him, he managed to wriggle his way out from the brush.
White and rainbow fur scruffed and sticking up in odd directions in patches Illius turned back towards the other ulaya, his heart stopping as his eyes landed on 'her'. Male... His mind whined.

Faye visibly jumped back and his fur brustled in his surprise. He hadn't know it was another ulaya hidden in hte bush. Speaking of that, what was the male doing there? It almost appeared as though he was hiding from something. The dark violet and teal male let his gaze linger a little too long on the male's body before lifting his eyes to study the other's expression. THis male was, without a doubt, handsome and that made Faye give a mental cheer. Perhaps the pale ulaya needed a fine shoulder to lean on. That thought please the Ki'rin significantly.
"Didn't mean to startle you, stranger," Faye's smooth voice was rich with warmth and a pinch of worry. He moved towards Illuis to catch a better glimpse of the other ulaya. "Are you hurt?"
