So, I have relatively medium length blonde hair that is slightly layered. I got it cut back before school let out a few months ago, and now it's almost to my shoulders.
Well, the point I am trying to get to is that (I hate using labels, so forgive me) even though I despise almost anything "scene" as people would say, I absolutely ADORE the hair styles! I mean, it's playful and very interesting. I've always wondered what I would look like with it.
Have any of you ever felt that way towards "scene" hairstyles? What are your takes on them? And most importantly, do you think you could ever get your hair insanely styled?

For a lot of the guys, the really-combed-forward-eye-covering styles look fine in still photos. But they look like ******** idiots when they're constantly whipping their heads around to get their hair out of their face, just so they can function. xd

Heya.
Is scene emo? Anyway, I love the hair styles for both the girls and the guys. I have had my hair styled in that sort of way before and probably will again (need to grow my hair) at some point. I have no problem with people who are emo/scene/goth to be honest, some of my friends would say they are if asked and normally they are more accepting then any other group (if we're using labels).
Talking of hair, I dyed mine yesterday biggrin A rare thing for me.

I LOVE scene/emo hair. <333
Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'd look good with it. o__o;;
I did used to have hair covering one of my eyes ALLLLLL the time, though.
._.
And I'd be constantly whipping my head to get the hair out of my eyes.
But I could still function with it. :]
Well.
I suppose my current hairstyle could be called something of scene/emo. After I get it dyed, at least.
I love the fact that I don't have hair in my eyes, though. xD It's wonderful.

You know you get those kids in movies whos hair is a little messy and they just sit there looking at something/someone and you know that somethings not right with them? That was me when I was little, I'd sit there in silence staring with my hair in my eyes because I would not let anyone cut my fringe(sp) as it helped a lot when I didn't want to see people or when I wanted to roll my eyes at them. I was a strange child.

My take on scene hair...pretty but flammable. Enjoy buying 600 cans of hairspray a year. smile but I guess its whatever makes you happy.

That's been me exactly.
For as long as I can remember.
I've always hid behind my hair.
And I'd hate it when people would cut my hair and make it so that they could see my face. Ugh. >.<
And then, even when I had really long hair and I had grown it out, I still had it falling in front of my face. One, 'cause I didn't like putting it behind my ears, and two, 'cause I wanted to hide.
