The Summer festival was okay
but all in all it kinda sicked
and was slow
Goal:
Something fast
active
attracts members
I need 3 moderators on this
1 Dusk
2 Lenora
3
If you are not doing "Project Battle System" you SHOULD be doing this. I want EVERYONE on at least ONE project. Not someone on BOTH

As for the actual events we run...I would like to have a minimum of 5 contests going.
Since none of us are probably willing to donate crap we're probably going to have to have an entrance fee or something like that on a lot of them.
Here are some traditional events:
Avi Comp (best halloween costume, cosplay, etc.)
Art Contest (who is the most skittled)
Dice Roll (land on a number get a prize)
We've also tried:
Scavanger hunt
but I want to get more going, and get okay prizes for them. I mean...at the top of my head
Possible prizes:
Avi art
Gold
Custome Profile
Monthly collectable
There have got to be other things we could do though, right?

I like the traditional events,
they are all pretty much something everyone
can participate in
the scavenger hunt is a good idea
but i think if we do that then
we should make it more
of a challenge
so that people really have to think to find the stuff
for the prizes
i like the avi art and the custom
profiles cause it doesn't cost
us gold
but i think the monthly collectibles
are a good idea too.

the original scavanger hunt idea was that you had to find a member wearing a specific item
I don't know how it was done this last time
I'd like to do a few more constests or something though
maybe even a bump-a-thon?
on a side note - check out the chatterbox, a funny idea just hit me

i like the idea for the old scavenger hunt,
it was done a little differently last time.
the bump-a-thon is a good idea
for those who like to bump

who ever has the most bumps wins!
we need to come up with more
ideas,
maybe something along the lines of halloween?
trick-or-treating contest
though i don't know how we could do that

Clutter contest
have you ever done one?
you take the
"display inventory"
and make it show whatever it is your wearing
who ever's wearing the most items wins!
and you HAVE to be able to see them to win so you don't end up putting everything down

Not at the moment. My old guilds never did events, they sat around the water bong (oh wait no, it's a Hooka...) when Gaia's main events came up. lol
I suppose polling other members for what sort of events they would like could help.
