What does "godmoding" mean?
Just about the only way this is applicable is in descriptive fighting.
Godmodding is when you do things like control another character through your posts or some such.
It also has to do with when you don't charge up or w/e for magic. You've got to take a certain amount of time to do certain things, kind of like real-time, but in turns.
It's not too hard to follow once you get used to it - well, to remember I mean.
I normally just ignore mods like that and just consider it as they having spent lots of time charging or some stupid thing like that. And I account for the time it takes to do particular things accordingly.
Or at least I try. <,< Lol. No human's perfect.
razz If they say what I'm doing is stupid or w/e and try to start an argument about it, I'll either tell that what they were doing was moddish to begin with, or else I'll just act like it's 'tough luck' or w/e without necessarily saying such. If worst comes to worst, I'll end the roleplay right then and there or else ignore them from then on,
or I'll just make it as though their character completely disappeared from existence right in front of me. That way they suffer no consequences.
It depends on the person, and what it is they're doing that's moddish.
There are some abilities (you can obviously come up with your own) that some people consider moddish or unfair, but in actuallity they're perfectly legal, provided you charge up and all that kind of stuff. Or at least focus and give yourself some kind of temporary weakness, y'know?
I'll just help you understand in the roleplay. Understanding comes with experience, and your own introspection about it.
I've had quite a few abilities like this; although I've changed them around slightly, if not gotten rid of them completely 'cause I've come up with much better and cooler abilities.
razz Most likely is I just don't use them to avoid trouble - but if worst comes to worst, I hope I'll remember and try to use 'em. <,<; Lol.
Edit: By the way. You can give a probable sequence of events. Just remember that it can be altered by another character at any given time. And you might want to remind people of that in one way or another.
